This house was perfect for our Girls Trip. I also rented the golf cart. It is really slow and not much power but it got us to the beach and back. Just a note to include more than one TP roll for each bathroom.

Our week at Best of Times was fantastic! The house has a beach vibe and is extremely comfortable. There are beach pails and every toy or game you could want for fun on the beach or playing indoors! Inside, all drawers and cupboards are labeled so everything is easy to find. The owners even provide a beautiful tour guide as well as flyers and other info regarding Galveston sights and eateries! Simply an amazing beach house!!!!

Our family of 7 stayed here for a week. The home was very clean. They thought of everything as we didn't need for anything other than groceries. There are tons of sand toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, an umbrella and a wagon to cart it down to the beach. We received a welcome email with information and distances/times to get to attractions which was really nice since this is our first trip to Texas. The beach is so close to the home and easy to walk to. The beds were very comfortable! I highly recommend renting this wonderful home for your next vacation!

What a great vacation home!! This beach house has everything we needed for a great relaxing, comfortable beach getaway. Great place for adults both older and young adults and great if you have small kids also. Lots of activities to do at the house just hanging out and more than enough beach gear options and toys for any age. The neighborhood is so nice and house is a minimal walking distance to sand, My young adult kids loved playing table tennis in the evening and I loved relaxing on the porch swings. The couches and beds were incredibly comfortable too! Will definitely be back! Very responsive property managers as well with any and every questions I had both before and during stay.

Our family had a great time returning to Best of Times! The neighborhood is great and the house is located very close to the beach. We love all of the amenities available at the home. The hosts are very responsive and give some great tips about the area. Already looking forward to our trip next year!

We didn’t anticipate a drastic temperature drop and perpetual rain when we booked this vacation, but the dreary weather was the only drawback to our stay. The home is full of beach touches and all amenities were easy to find and thoughtfully gathered and labeled. Access to the beach was easy and the nearby stores and eateries marked on the fridge. We enjoyed our cozy stay in and the easy access to downtown Galveston for all the tourist attractions. We will definitely return in a warmer month to take advantage of the beach toys and the cozy outdoor spaces and take In more sea air. All parties were charmed and happy here.

Very close to the beach, far enough outside of town where it’s quiet, far enough off the main road you don’t hear the traffic and plenty of space for a group of friends. The house was well supplied with everything you need. Everything is even labeled so you know exactly where everything is. The owner is very friendly and is there for you whenever you need or if you have any questions. I would highly recommend this house this location for any event and hope to get to use it again same time next year!

From the moment we drove up and saw the porch and hammocks we were blown away by all the amenities this property offered. It was absolutely perfect for our mom friend group to have a wonderful relaxing few days to celebrate the end of summer. Close to the beach and just enough distance from the tourists. Would highly recommend for families as well. Fully stocked kitchen, games and activities for everyone, and golf cart to the beach. Perfection!

Renting the golf cart was the best decision. Made it so easy to haul stuff to and from the beach. The house was so clean and well stocked. Lots of sand toys, beach games, a wagon, boogie boards, towels and more. Everything you need for the beach was provided. We had the best time at this beach house with our family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best of Times beach house! After many visits to many beach houses, we can say this is the most well-stocked house we have ever stayed in! The owners' offering of games, puzzles, extra towels, grill accessories, and beach toys is amazing! There is even an information booklet made by the owners. This book includes not only instructions for the house but also lists places to go, fun things to do and the best places to eat, even a history of the island!!!!! My family enjoyed at a great stay at Best of Times. The house provided a nice retreat when we were not at the beach.

The house was clean and neat. The porch was shaded in the evening and was a great place to sit and listen to the ocean. I highly recommend getting the golf cart for the short trip to the beach. It really came in handy for all the back and forth trips our group made. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

The hosts were very responsive and have thought of everything you could need to have a comfortable experience. My kids loved the games and the bucket/flashlights came in handy for ghost crab hunting! Great property!

What an amazing property! We had such a great time that we will be renting again for next year. The property is located just a couple blocks from the sea and with the optional Golf Cart rental is was a breeze to get back and forth. The house is perfectly detailed for living on ocean time and set up for a beach get away. The bedrooms are reasonable sized and the kitchen comes with everything you need to cook a great meal at your home away from home.

I grew up going to Pirate’s Beach and loved going back and taking my family. It feels exactly the same! It’s quiet and friendly. The house was a perfect size for our family of 4. We’ll definitely go back!

Really nice house and the owner was very accommodating.

The house was just what we expected. The 3 rooms had queens each and quad bunks in the last one. 2 well suited bathrooms met our needs. Dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, pots-pans-dishes-utensils, you name it, its available. A large open living area tied everything together and made visiting with family easy while working in the kitchen or dining. Every nook and space had toys, games, books, video games, blankets or something, so don't bother to pack those things if you enjoy them. AT&T Tv and internet was used some but we were always out doing something. All the homes in the area are on stilts as is this one, but the stairs are straight and minimal. Very nice 2 level deck with the upper deck sporting 2 lounge chairs for sunbathing. The ground level was perfect for hanging out. The 2 hammocks were very relaxing! The garage holds the washer and dryer, golf cart, games and BBQ pit along with many toys and useful items for the beach. The beach is about 2 blocks away with easy access. Unfortunately there is no vehicle access on the beach but it is only a short walk to a great spot. Everything was nice and tidy and the property very clean and organized. Most all drawers were marked for easy identification of contents. The overall location was good for us. Only about a five mile drive to the Seawall and attractions. Directly across from the neighborhood was a very well equipped convenience store with all the essentials. Beer, fresh pizza, ice cream deli and many products that you may need. They even have a Boarshead meat display! Overall the owners have a well kept, seasoned home that met our expectations and we hope that others have the same experience we did! Enjoy!

We loved our stay here. The house is a short walk to the beach. We love Pirate's Beach since there are no cars on the beach. The house has everything our family needed for a fun stay v
