Booked an amazing tour with them. Property manager is very helpful and food was good.

Very cozy place, I loved to seat by the fireplace and the group set up for the meals. We could get to know the other people staying there. Saul and his family were great hosts, my boyfriend was struggling with altitude sickness and they did everything they could to help. We were the first guests arriving so we even got to choose the room we were staying. Overall we had a great experience.

It's a lovely family run hostel. We were made very welcome and really enjoyed sitting in front of the fire playing games with the other guests. It's very well located for seeing and visiting Cotopaxi.

It's rather expensive, but frankly so are all the other hostels in this area. Also there was no hot water, and it's cold in the bathroom.

Excellent location, close to cotopaxi national park and public transport. Staff, particularly Anthony, were excellent and very helpful. Nice community atmosphere with communal dinners/breakfasts.

Location, value and food options

The property was super cute and very close to Cotopaxi National Park. The staff there were very helpful as well. We had a sort of “family” dinner with everyone staying at the hostel which was nice.

Our dorm room wasn’t well insulated, and with no heater, it was absolutely freezing.

The staff helped us with everything. Easy to go to Cotopaxi and Quilotoa. The food was amazing.

Real helpful friendly staff, local family I think. Cooked vegan food for me. Lots of advice on hiking.

Staff were super friendly, the common area had good sofa's near a fire. Rooms are warm with heaters and information about the area was very good. Rides can be arranged to get to most of the places you want to visit. Guides are very knowledgeable. Meals on site were excellent, hot and plenty, breakfasts also. English spoken when our Spanish breaks down.

Wish there were better showers and it would be an awesome place.

The Hostel is really nice, especially the common area to meet other people. Dinner was always delicious and the staff is so nice and friendly! I totally recommend to go there. Also no worries, it is really easy accessible bei public transport!

We loved staying here!! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and they went above and beyond to cater to my needs. We stayed in a small mixed dorm and it was very comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing in the cosy common area next to the fire and chatting to other travellers. You can go on some awesome tours from the hostel. Highly recommend this place!

The only thing they can improve on is the shower. The pressure isn’t great and you can’t shower properly

Staff friendly and helpful, lovely place to eat with fireplace. We loved the ping pong table! Thanks for the heater in the room because nights are cold and windy. They organise a lift for us to go to Cotopaxi which wait for us during our hike. Well appreciated!

Cuscungo Hostel was amazing. I was there for 3 nights and 4 days. All of the personal, and all of the details are totally what I need. I'm really happy about all of the service and the place that I enjoyed. Anthony, one of the service man, is really interested about what he is doing, and also every time he was aware that I feel confortable and happy. At the same time, the people at the front-desk explain me all of the things when I arrived. Finally I want to say that is a nice place to meet people of different countries, have a nice experience and also I need to say that the location is near of too much places and it is easy to find the place.

Everything were really nice. The beads are totally clean, the mattresses are confortables, the people that give service are always there. I don't have any bad experience. Just a recommendation... I think it could be a good idea if they place hammocks.
