It was exactly as it was advertised. Beautiful patio, a quick around the corner to walking on the beach. Rooms for our entire family. Inside and outside dining, garage access to alley. Always parking available. We walked to everything in Encinitas. We would book definitely.

Very spacious with many amenities. We had a great time at the beach (easy walk), getting great ice cream and bakery treats (3 block walk), and enjoying family meals--either grilled on grill provided or brought in from several nearby restaurants. Also some wonderful memories of putting a jigsaw puzzle together and playing games. With an easy block of one stairway, our crawling baby enjoyed being here as well as giving all the family fun watching him. Stairs are plentiful, however, so not the best for someone with limited mobility.

Excellent location and overall property. Great for our large family vacation at the beach. Walking distance to great downtown area also. We had no concerns while at the house, but the one time I contacted property manager I received an immediate response. Thank you Rebecca.

The best thing about this property is the location. From there it goes DOWNHILL, and I suggest you avoid this rental. First, this location advertises a hot tub in the description/photos. One can see where the hot tub had been. I tried to work with the property manager on a small refund, but they didn't communicate timely or offer one. They said they would offer a full refund, but who is going to move 14 people/children with no place to go 24 hours after unpacking and moving in (pack-n-plays, grocery deliveries, etc). It just wasn't feasible. Second, this place is run on the cheap. It needs some maintenance, but obviously they are trying to save a buck. Just a little TLC would make a stay here much better. -master bed broke with broken pieces in the closet -multiple plugins that don't work -2 broken kitchen chairs -multiple lights burned out -broken stair tile -slow-draining sinks -slow draining master shower up to ankles -chipped coffee carafe (which broke upon washing) -broken wall fence leaning against house Lastly, poor communication with property manager. I had to beg them to respond to my emails. That was frustrating! I know that you may read this and think no big deal. But, I suggest for this type of $$$ that you keep looking because you will find a place that is better cared for and a manager who wants to serve the customer somewhere else.

We booked this home for 7 nights for a family vacation with our children and grandchildren. While the location was ideal and the owner was mostly responsive when we reached out to her, there were a lot of areas that fell short of our expectations, particularly with the price we paid for the week. While we don't fault the owner or cleaning crew for the previous guests who left later than expected, we were shocked to find sand and hair in almost all of the beds. We don't know why changing the sheets wasn't a priority. The floors were also very dirty. The owner said she would send a cleaning crew on Sunday but only one person came, and we ended up helping her clean because we didn't want her there all day. We washed all the sheets and made all the beds ourselves. When we changed the sheets, we noticed how old and gross the mattresses and mattress protectors were. There were no extra paper products anywhere; for example, none of the bathrooms had extra toilet paper so we quickly ran out. The kitchen was poorly stocked. The house is big enough for 16 people but there were not enough pots, dishes, cups, or silverware. The coffee table in the living room had a big chunk out of the corner making it very sharp. It made us really nervous since it was in the middle of the living space and we had young kids with us. In two of the downstairs bedrooms, the sliding closet doors were unstable and hanging dangerously off the track. The front porch lights were completely out and was not fixed

Walking distance to everything. Driving distance to even more. Padres game, meditation garden, the Herb & Sea, and Honeys + The Taco Stand. Perfect. House was great and prepared for your 11 adults and 7 children (10-2 yes) Highly recommend!

Rebecca was a great host and has a wonderful house. Our group of 9 were very comfortable and enjoyed the ocean views and breeze. Easy walk to do many places in a safe, friendly neighborhood.

Wonderful location close to the beach and super convenient to shopping and dining. Very responsive owner who let us check in early and delay (slightly) our check-out to deal with all the travel problems that Southwest Airlines caused this holiday season! For families with different age groups, there is a master suite on the same level as the kitchen/living/dining, and the other bedrooms are all downstairs. The bunk bed room is pretty tiny but would work for kids. There are multiple levels outside as well. Ample seating at the dining table for a large group and lots of room in the kitchen for multiple cooks to work simultaneously. Huge fridge and great Wolf range!

The views of the ocean and being so close to the beach were the reasons we chose this house and we loved our stay.

The house was comfortable and multi-family friendly with lots of indoor and outdoor space to spread out. Clean and well appointed, it was a great place to spend a relaxing week. The location, just a block from the beach, was perfect.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We had 12 adult women and we rented this house and the house across the alley on 2nd street. We could not have asked for more perfect houses as well as the perfect location. However, the following downfalls need to be corrected: 1 bedroom (downstairs double queen bedroom) had sand in the sheets (made us think they weren't washed), there was a lack of soap in all the bathrooms and showers (every sink needs soap and every shower needs body wash), there was no kleenex available, there was only 1 roll of paper towel with no extras and there was only the trash bag that was left in the trash (no additional bags), there were only 2 wine glasses in the entire house, and there was a note that said any makeup on towels would result in a $30 fine (providing black towels would be a great way around this, but we were all extremely careful). With all that said, we would rent this house again in a heartbeat since all these issues can be taken care of easily and the house itself was fantastic. Thank you.

The location was incredibly close to beautiful Moonlight Beach. Encinitas it’s self is a delightful and delicious place to visit. We were very comfortable in this property with 10 adults and 6 children. The beach wagon and abundance of beach towels was a pleasant and well used amenity. The property has several high end features, but is beach house comfortable. We had been concerned about parking for a large van, but street parking was always available when we needed it. We also parked a mini van in the garage. The property manager was very accessible.

It was perfect: perfect house for 12 people, perfect location (how ideal is it to have both a great pizza restaurant and ice cream parlor steps away!). It is as described in the VRBO description and met all our needs.

Streets in the area are very hilly which is not mentioned, as well as neighborhood is extremely dark when sun goes down very limited street lighting and practically none on the beach. Other then that we did encounter issues during our stay. The host messaged stating the housekeeper informed her that there was no toilet paper for our stay, we hadn't noticed a shortage but she dropped by about 8pm'ish our first night which was nice of her. That night we also ran out of hot water and only 6 people out of our party of 16 and an infant were able to enjoy warm less than 20min showers between 6pm and 10pm. Many of us waited up until 2-3am and still no hot water for showers. Also night one we had trouble with blinds in downstairs master being stuck open and couldn't be closed once ready for bed. All blinds were already raised when we arrived so we didn't notice until the occupants of that room went to close them. Also in that same room Tv in that downstairs master wouldn't work. Host never specified if it had cable or not. That same night once ready for bed we noticed that the twin bunk room had a web/nest of little spiders all over top kids bunk from ceiling to pillows and kids were forced to sleep on couches. We couldn't use that room the entire 2 night stay. There was also a silverfish bug found in the pull out bed upstairs and a couple more found in the kitchen drawers once we were in the middle of making meals. My main complaint would be that with the amount charged for cleaning fees, I wouldn't have expected those issues. No hot water issues for day 2.

This home worked out very well for our extended family group. Fantastic location and neighborhood, very short walk to the beach. Very nice remodel done at some point. A couple of items could have been attended to prior to our stay, but overall a very nice spot.

Beautiful property! Location is superb! Host- Rebecca was easy to work with. Fabulous time! Beach and playground right outside the property. Fun town- easy walk to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this property. The children ages 2 and 5 had the best time as well.

The location is great, the beach is close, lots of great places to eat within walking distance. The home is on a quiet street and in a pleasant area. The home itself is quite large, we had enough space for the 15 of us. Maybe not the best for a large indoor gathering, but you didn't come her to stay inside, right? The beds were comfortable and the place was reasonably clean when we arrived. The furniture is nothing special, but sufficient for our needs. For the price, I was expecting a bit higher quality but you are getting the best location possible, we had a wonderful time.

When we arrived there were piles of leaves all on the sidewalk leading to the front door and on all of the terraces. So when we thought we were there to relax, instead we expended our energy sweeping leaves and cleaning the back patio table which was filthy!!! The patio lights that are advertised did not work so we were unable to enjoy that ambiance on the first night when the weather was perfect for outdoor socializing . We also later found toys under furniture, handprints on the windows, a broken handle on a kitchen drawer, the hot water wasn’t working in one of the bathrooms and oh, the garage door didn’t open. The owner was responsive prior to our arrival but once we needed her, she was slow to respond. When I mentioned this to her she told me she was within her 24 hour requirement to respond. We were sure fooled by the advertised cleanliness. The cleaning fee indicated we should expect it to be clean!!! If you choose this place, beware.

My family and I came down to celebrate my 50th birthday. The house was gorgeous and spacious and the beach was literally 1minute away. The house is very kid friendly. Everyone had an excellent time and was very comfortable. I'm definitely coming back !
