What could be better than sitting on the lanai watching the whales. This property was exactly as advertised. Spacious rooms, windows all around, great variety of lanai furniture, easy access to the beach and close to many shopping/restaurant options.

The view was perfect of the ocean and Black Rock. We saw whales and there were binoculars to see them. Everything was nice and clean and even though there was not a bathtub, the hall bath had a low spout and our 3 year old loved playing in it each evening. We had a wonderful vacation making lasting memories for all of us. Thank you for making it happen.

We couldn’t have been happier with this condo. The rooms were spacious, and the lanai was absolutely huge, wrapping around the unit with both mountain and ocean/beach fantastic views. The location was perfect, within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping at Whaler’s Village. The unit was stocked with tons of cooking utensils, pots, pans and bowls. Would we stay there again? Absolutely. My only issue was the lack of communication with the owner. With only 2 weeks before our departure I contacted Cathy through VRBO to get a couple questions answered and heard nothing back. With a week to go I called her and the phone rang and rang and rang…no answer. I tried texting to that number and received an automated text message back telling me that it was a land line and did I want to leave my message as a voice mail? I did, and still heard nothing back. I ended up calling The Whaler directly to make sure we were good to go. Also, the Rental Agreement form gave the number of her housekeeper, Mary, if we needed anything. I called to have her remove some dirty sheets that had been left. She called me back and said she hadn’t worked that unit for a couple of years so clearly they need to update their contact list. I wouldn’t let the above hold you back from renting this unit though.

Wow. Where do we start? A million dollar view that can’t be beat. Very comfortable beds and has everything you need to make you feel at home. Loved being right on Kaanapali Beach and next to Whaler’s Village. Will definitely be back!!

This place has great views of Black Rock, the ocean, the beach, the pool, and sunsets. The bedrooms are huge compared to any hotel, plus you have a well stocked kitchen and living room, and a wrap around deck you wont get anywhere else but at these corner units at the Whaler. There is also basic beach gear - chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach mats and beach toys. You could spend as much on 2 hotel rooms and not get the extra benefits you get here.

An absolutely wonderful place. The condo was clean, cool, and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The furnishings are nice. The views are wonderful. We miss it already. Cathy was always responsive and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

This condo was exactly as described if not better. No words could accurately detail the amazing view seen from this location. The property is situated in the most ideal location on Ka’anapali Beach. The rental was very clean and well stocked with everything you might need. The host was very communicative and the Whaler front desk staff were great. We hope to stay here again soon!

The view and location was just perfect! It was so wonderful to walk the beach and go to the Whaler Village for shopping and dinner. We boarded out sunset dinner cruise right off the beach, PERFECT! We stayed here with our multi generation family. It was so helpful to have 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom. There were times when it was VERY windy and having the option to sit on the ocean front lanai protected us and we were able to enjoy being outside. We would definitely stay here again! Really enjoyed our family vacation at the property. The views out across the ocean and around the corner down the beach to Black Rock are unmatched. We had a couple of windy days, and it was nice to be able to shield from the wind by locating on one side of the balcony or another. The unit was clean, kitchen well-stocked, and beds very comfortable. We did not use the pool area that much - it was generally crowded, but there were many quiet places on the grounds or on the beach to sit and enjoy the sounds of the surf and the weather. There was plenty of room for four and we hosted dinners for six with no issues. Close to multiple restaurants and great walking paths along the ocean. Loved the binoculars in the room - saw plenty of whales and also did some stargazing from the balcony in the evening. Overall a great unit and a great vacation.

Our stay at the Whaler and especially this unit was fantastic. The view is awesome and the location could not be better. We will be back to this unit as often as we can.

The best beach, snorkeling, restaurants, and shopping only a few steps away. The most beautiful sunsets and views from the lanai of this condo.. We will definitely be back and hope to rent 1152 again.

You will not care that the washer and dryer is on there last leg or the place needs a decoration facelift with this AWESOME Million Dollar VIEW!!! Oh and a GREAT Location Too!!!! I would definitely stay here again and Highly recommend it to anyone as well!!!! It doesn’t get any better! I Lava Maui!!!❤️

Great property! Views are amazing!

The property unit was less than to be desired for the amount of money I paid. This unit needs a complete face lift. I felt we were stuck in the 70’s. Utility speaking it was adequate but not from an esthetic point of view. I wouldn’t request this unit again unless it was totally updated like many of the other units on site.
