We loved staying here on our trip to Brevard. The house is in the town of Brevard, right near the Music Center. The house is extremely comfortable and well appointed. The upstairs queen mattress is the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in years. The layout of the house was perfect for us—my father took the downstairs bedroom and bathroom, and the kids and I were happy upstairs. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. Thank you so much for making this such a memorable trip. We hope to return soon!

We LOVED our stay at Rachael's beautiful Downtown Brevard Cottage! The home is roomy, comfortable and so nicely appointed. It was perfect for our family of 5 adults, with plenty of space and a bed for everyone. The kitchen was very well equipped and we enjoyed all our meals at the house, around the big dining table. We were able to walk to town and also to performances at the Brevard Music Center. The location was perfect and the home was VERY charming! I also appreciated Rachel's excellent communication.

Great VRBO with a charming location, convenient to everything and super clean. Thanks to all that, fireflies in the evening and a white squirrel siting, we’ll be back. Here’s hoping for repairs to the rock driveway - navigating that was a slight challenge.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay in Brevard. We were looking for good hiking, good food and lots of relaxing and that’s what we got. This house had plenty of room with a rustic feel. We were able to walk downtown and it was a very short drive to some beautiful waterfalls.

My daughter and I stayed here for a night so we could drop her off early the next morning for a local camp in Brevard. The homeowner was very communicative and easy, everything was just as posted. It is so close to town you can walk to the restaurants, toy store, Kilwins, coffee shop, etc. Would definitely stay here again for a future camp drop off again!

Perfect Mountain Home
This property was spotless! All the rooms had soft color combinations that remind you of an elegant English cottage.
The kitchen was expertly outfitted for cooks. And we cook!
All the appliances worked and we had absolutely no complaints. The check in and check out went flawlessly. Rachel has a lovely place to stay the week. We walked all over Brevard from this property. The music center for morning walks, the Highlands Book Shop, and the Saturday Farmers Market are not to be missed!

There is only one tiny flaw. The paper coffee filters did not fit the coffee maker. Everything else was fine and I think it was a miracle that you had our dates available during the final week of the music festival.

Wonderful Experience
We really enjoyed our stay! My 2 top priorities are cleanliness and safety and both were top notch. We were close to downtown (15 min walk with children), The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Great communication with the owner. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Home
We had an absolutely delightful stay in this beautiful home. Our family of four (kids are 10 and 12) stayed in Brevard for 2 weeks and Rachael's home had everything we needed. The house and kitchen were immaculate and incredibly well stocked with sundries and other supplies. The beds and linens were lovely and comfortable. I appreciated that there were cleaning supplies given we were there for two weeks. Rachael is a thoughtful and responsive host and it is clear that details matter to her. The location is fabulous and we walked to town often for breakfast and dinner. Overall a wonderful rental and I highly recommend this home.

Brevard house
We had a great stay at Rachael’s house. She was very responsive to our questions as we booked and while we were in Brevard. The house is even larger than it looks in the photos! We were able to walk to the restaurants and shops downtown and hit many of the local waterfalls (less than 30 minute drive to many!)

Charm and Convenience Rolled Into One
This 3-bedrrom cottage is perfect for family and/or guests visiting Brevrd, N.C. I used it to introduce my guests to the 7-week season of classical music at Brevard Music Center, which is just down the street. But is also just minutes away from restaurants, hiking and scenic drives. The owners thought of everything in fitting out this cottage for maximum convenience. They were also gracious and responsive to deal with. This rental has ny unreserved recommendation!

The house was nice and equipped with everything we needed. Location is an short walk to downtown, trails are just down the street and Oscar Blues Brewery was an easy bike ride away on mostly multi-use paths. Would recommend this house to others.

Great Getaway House in Brevard!
We are so happy that we found this house in Brevard, and had a great weekend staying in this cool town! We didn't have any trouble accessing the house, when we arrived later at night. Overall the house was immaculate, and we had more than enough room. The Owner, Rachael, gave us plenty of suggestions for things to do around town, which was very helpful. We had a great weekend, and we hope to stay here again!

Wonderfully comfortable and full of light.
We had a wonderful stay here at 608 Probart St. The house is large enough to have your privacy if needed and also very cozy feeling. Well appointed kitchen with room for more than one cook. Such wonderful light through all the windows and the way the house is situated you feel like you are in the trees. We even had a visit from a white squirrel. Close to town and my new favorite grocery "Food Matters". Traveled to Asheville to see the Biltmore and not a bad drive at all. I would most definitely stay again. Thanks Rachael!

Charming Brevard Home.
The home is very comfortable and charming. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. The bathrooms are a nice size and updated. The location is wonderful. We walked to town several times. The entire family greatly enjoyed our stay.

This house is charming and in a perfect location. Its a short walk downtown and a short drive to the Pisgah National Forest which was perfect because we mostly went to hike. The house was the perfect size and had everything we needed for our stay. We also had a few questions about the area and Rachael was very helpful and responded promptly. The house was very clean and well maintained and we will definitely be returning when we visit Brevard next!!

Delightful location close to town, lovely interior decorations, comfortable furniture, great beds.
This is a lovely place and very well appointed. I will share four "wishes" that I have, the fulfillment of which would make this even better. 1) better pans. Many of the skillets and pans were old and hard to use. Some seemed to warp in the heat. A better set of pans would be good for the cooks among us. 2) a few good knives would help. 3) invest in a better air conditioner. In order for the top floor sleepers to be comfortable, the lower floor sleepers had to shiver. 4) build a screened porch, or enhance the outdoor sitting area so it is comfortable and inviting. It is delightful to be outside in Brevard, and making an attractive and well appointed place to do this would be great. Thank you .

Great Layout & Location
Great place. House is a 10-minute walk from downtown Brevard. Very clean. Bathrooms well appointed. 1 bedroom downstairs. Nice size kitchen and dining room. Quiet neighborhood. Has internet. Cable only has very limited channels. We brought bikes and could not find an outside hose to use. On first day toilet broke and Rachael our contact, had it fixed before 2 pm. Great job! Will definitely be back.
