Located close to the town centre. Easy access to surrounding area.

Stairs were a little steep for less able family members, couldn't hold onto the rail at the top of the stairs.

Lovely holiday house with nice interior design and comfortable, spacious rooms - ideal for our little puppy as well with its safe enclosed back garden. We didn't actually spend much time in the house, but it certainly was a great place to return to after a long day of walking and sightseeing. The location was very convenient to explore Durham, the Dales and the nearby beaches. Finally, the host was very friendly and helpful, checking in on us and providing information ahead of our trip. Overall, very pleased with our stay, couldn't have asked for more!

A beautifully appointed house, with extras, like milk, jam etc in the fridge. Also, a bottle of wine. Bed very comfortable. Lots of quirky features in all rooms.

The house was so spacious, and comfortable. The dogs were welcomed and there was a secure outdoor space.

Liked everything but It would have been nice to have somewhere in the bathroom to hang towels.

The location was perfect for our trip. The bottle of milk and wine was a lovely surprise.

The rooms are very dark you needed the lights on most of the time, some brighter bulbs would have been nice especially on the stairs. No mirror in the second bedroom nowhere to do hair or makeup. Also no bin in the bathroom. Step outside is quite high, especially for people with mobility issues. There was a dining table available to use but no chairs to go with it.

Lovely to leave tea and coffee but maybe look at the quality, coffee was clumped (? previously damp) and old so not great to drink.

There was nothing i didn't like.

What a fantastic find! We were displaying at Locomotion for the weekend, about 10 mins away. What a lovely little place, clean, tidy and modern decor. A bottle of wine and a box of doughnuts on arrival, we popped the wine in the fridge and forgot oops! Loads of parking, wifi great, Alexa and smart heating controls. Comfy beds, and a clean modern bathroom. We will be booking for next year without a doubt! Lu was great keeping us informed and could apologise enough that the wonderful winter weather had kicked the boiler off before we arrived, soon warmed up though! Thanks Lu, wonderful stop and way better than the Holiday Inn we used last time!
