Historisch, schön 4000 s. f. Zuhause mit über einem Morgen üppiger, tropischer Anlagen. Holzfußböden und -decken überall. Die Hacienda war in El Batey, Fajardo, PR, einer ehemaligen Zuckerplantage gelegen, ein Treffpunkt, an dem man große Terrassen auf der Vorder- und Rückseite finden konnte, auf denen die Leute die kühle tropische Brise genossen und die Nachbarn besuchten. Die Nachbarschaft ist eng mit der Zuckerrohrplantage von Fajardo verbunden. Das Haus verfügt über 3 große Zimmer mit 12 Fuß hohen Decken. Jedes Zimmer ist 250 s. f. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über ein luxuriöses Queensize-Bett. Ein Zimmer verfügt über ein zusätzliches Roll-Einzelbett und die anderen beiden können über ein hochwertiges Bungy-Cord-Systembett verfügen. Das Haus verfügt über 3 und 1/2 Bäder. Der Pool verfügt über ein Badezimmer und eine Außendusche. Der Barbereich verfügt über ein volles Waschbecken und Gläser für Getränke.

This house was just what my family needed during our vacation in Puerto Rico. The rooms are big and the living areas are well decorated with useful and interesting touches. The host was very responsive to any questions and she left a cabinet full of helpful information for sights to see . The yard, outside area and pool are wonderful, too. We got to see an iguana and some other lizards hanging out in the yard. We had a great stay and would certainly stay here again in the future!

The property is in a very quiet gated community. It is close to many bars, restaurants and eateries. We went to El Cayo several nights for dinner and they have the best Pina Coladas on the island (in our opinion). There was some confusion on the day of check in as we arrived quite late and didn't realize that when you type in the provided code on the keypad at the entrance, that you are actually calling someone so they can let open the gate. After that, things went smooth and we were provided a key fob for driving in and out.
The house itself is historic and quite old. We were aware and appreciate the historic value of the home. The air conditioning in each bedroom works great and cools down the rooms quickly, but the other areas do not have air conditioning. That was fine with us as we spent most of our time outdoors in the beautiful pool. That area is spectucular and it was nice to use in our days when we needed to take a break from all the sightseeing/beach days.
The kitchen has many necessary utensils, a regular coffee maker, blender, air fryer and small appliances. I had hoped to cook breakfast but could not find a decent pan/griddle to make pancakes; the electric griddle was broken and there other pans were not non-stick. Not all of the burners worked either. I wasn't planning on cooking a meal, so no biggie!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time!

We had such a great time at Sally’s place in Fajardo. It was the perfect location for the Bio Bay tour, snorkeling trip to Icocas and a chocolate tour near el Yunque. The house was a good size for our group and we made use of the pool every day. The air conditioners in the bedrooms were fantastic. Sally was very helpful and had great ideas for restaurants and excursions. Thank you!

Good location, close to beaches, activities, and restaurants. Host was wonderful. Just like having your own personal concierge. She helped make activities reservations and recommended restaurants and sights to see. Overall, a great place for a family vacation!

Easy to give a strong recommendation for this rental! The host is very responsive and very helpful in providing information about the house as well as helping coordinate with respect to other things you might need during the visit. The host went the extra mile for us because we had three children under age 2 staying with us. She had great connections in the community, including with chefs to come do a private dinner at the house (which was done for us outside - it was awesome!).
The property was clean and had everything we needed for hanging out at the house and pool everyday! For families with young ones, the location felt safe and was fenced in so the little ones couldn't get off property. The pool was perfect size, the big yard was spacious and even though we were in a gated neighborhood, we felt like we were in our own oasis. Even got to see some cool wildlife come through like some lizards and iguanas (all of which were respectful of our space and we of theirs)! The little pool house had a shower and toilet which was super convenient. The gas grill was great for cooking local fresh snapper too! Also, the spacious covered patio with ceiling fans and lights was our main hangout location the entire trip, it was cool, shady, and a clean area for the kids to crawl around.
Perfect for mid-large size groups with kids looking to explore the eastern side of PR! Would write more if VRB O let me - but this place was just perfect! Would definitely return!

We stayed at Sally’s place with a large group of 12 including grandparents all the way down to toddlers. Sleeping arrangements were a bit tight, although plenty of beds, but the property was otherwise perfect for spreading out into smaller groups when needed, but with communal spaces to hang together when desired. The pool and property were perfect for the kids and poolside patio for lounging for the adults while keeping an eye on the younger ones. The location was great- private, gated neighborhood centrally located, although not walkable to the beach, was a perfect launching point for our adventures. The kitchen was huge and great for preparing meals for a crowd, when needed.
Sally responded quickly and efficiently to questions and resolved an initial issue with bedding quickly, but was otherwise unobtrusive and left us to enjoy our vacation to ourselves. She had great recommendations for outings/bookings but we never felt pressured to do any of those “extras.” If you’re looking for a comfortable space to launch a family vacation from, this was ideal.

We had a nice time. The house could use new floors, but the backyard made up for any shortcomings inside.
AC was only in the bedrooms, but it was cool enough with the windows open that we didn't need it. Besides, we spent all of out "at home" time on the back porch.
Great central location. Easy access to grocery, docks, restaurants, and rain forest. Less than 10 minutes from whatever you could need.
There wasn't a "house rules" book like we are used to, so we weren't sure what to do before we left (trash, laundry-towels, dishes, etc...). Sally did text to tell us where to put the trash on our last morning.
Just FYI...pin the house with GPS location. Addresses get you no where in Puerto Rico. We were lost for 2 1/2 hours trying to find the house using the address. We were less 5 minutes from it, but kept going to the wrong "Calle 3"s.

Great location in Fajardo, spacious and comfortable. Sally was great with us. Easy to get in and accommodate ourselves. Conveniently located to visit el Yunque and Culebra. Not far from San Juan either.

Great place for small events. Plenty of space for everyone and the swimming pool was a great plus. Close to the beach, seafood restaurants and water sport activities. Great spring break 2021 vacation!!
We had an amazing stay in Fajardo! The location was perfect and the pool amazing! We had such a great time with our two families and kids - plenty of room for 9! The location felt safe and central to all kinds of family friendly activities! Sally is totally the hostess with the mostest! She was so helpful to us in planning our vacation and we are so grateful!

Great property for vacations
If you want to have fun or be relaxed visit Sally's house ... huge property with a large pool gazebo BBQ area and all the amenities at hand ... Sally was very kind and friendly with our family. The house has all the comforts without the need to go outside. We find the house clean as well as all its surroundings. Cleanliness was a very important factor in our search due to covid 19, I recommend it 100%.

Hidden paradise
Once you get there is like you're in another country and time. You won't want to get back to the noisy metro area. Great place to enjoy and relax. Spacious property, yard and pool. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful.

Peaceful Paradise with Access to EVERYTHING!
Pictures cannot do the property justice. The house is very large with 15-foot ceilings, a full-service kitchen with all imaginable supplies, spotless bedrooms and so much space it blew us away. Let's begin with the outside:
In a gated and small community with tree-lined streets, the house has its own private parking within an enormous walled yard with large shade trees and incredible landscaping (bird of paradise, bougainvillea, potted herbs). The private pool was a special treat: we used it morning, afternoons and evenings. A large patio offered both covered and uncovered spaces with enough seating for all house guests, and guests of house guests and then some. If you traveled with an extended family you could have them over for swimming and a BBQ, offer them separate spaces for different activities: cards at this table, drinks at that table, munchies over there and of course a dip in the pool.
Then, enter the house to a charming kitchen with bar seating so that the cooks (there's room for everyone here) never have to be alone. A high-top table sits eight, but also there is a full dining room if needed. AND a TV room. AND a living room. The living room has cards and games to keep everyone occupied. A powder room is available right off the TV room. Down a lovely hallway are three bedrooms and a laundry room, two full baths. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms charmingly decorated.
Every room has ceiling fans. Staying at Azucar House in February, we did not need A/C and it was a pleasure to open our windows to lovely breezes and the signing of the Coqui. We all slept so well.
This place would be great if you went nowhere but here. But the options to fill your days are endless. The house is a few minutes off Rt 3, 15 mins from Luquillo, 10 mins from 7 Seas Beach, 20 mins from El Yunque, all of these places offering so much to do: hiking, water sports, ziplining, paddleboarding, surfing, kayaking.
Our host, Sally, was available whenever we needed her and gave us recommendations for restaurants, activities and shopping. Favorites included the 7 Seas Food Truck Park, Las Vistas Cafe for breakfast, and El Pescador. If you want to stay in, Ralph's Market on Rt 3 has everything you could possibly need including wine and beer.
Puerto Rico is so beautiful, so easy to get to and maneuver around, with wonderful people. This is our third time there, our first time to Farjardo, but count on us coming back again and again!

Warm welcome in paradise
This property was outstanding! The home and grounds were impeccable, historic and interesting. The owner was always on hand with suggestions and information to help make our stay memorable. Her dog, Bleu, a service dog, was a friendly addition to the ménage.
