Sunset House -A View to Experience- Serene Location in Town.
Sunset House hat in den letzten Jahren einen Wandel durchgemacht. Wir befinden uns in einer Sackgasse mit wenig bis gar keinem Verkehr in der Stadt Trinidad, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von allem entfernt, einschließlich den Stränden und dem Trinidad State Park. Die ideale Lage in der Stadt mit direktem Blick auf das Meer und täglich herrlichen Sonnenuntergängen von der Terrasse / Veranda oder ohne das Wohnzimmer zu verlassen. Über die Straße führen Wanderwege zum Strand und zum State Park. Nur 2/10 einer Meile zum Herzen der Stadt, die einen Markt, Geschäfte, Restaurants, einen Tennisplatz, einen Weinverkostungsraum und ein Meereslabor umfasst. Unsere Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit allem, was Sie zum Kochen und Unterhalten brauchen. Es gibt 4 attraktive und äußerst komfortable Schlafzimmer, von denen drei über Kabelfernsehen verfügen. Dies ist ein Haus auf drei Ebenen mit 6-8 Stufen zwischen den beiden Hauptetagen. und Foyer. Es gibt 2 Stufen hinunter zum Wäschebereich. Die Treppen haben Handläufe. Die Schlafzimmer befinden sich im Erdgeschoss und sind auch über die französischen Türen zugänglich, die zum Hinterhof führen. Alle 4 Schlafzimmer befinden sich auf der gleichen Etage, ideal für Familien mit Kindern. Wir haben eine große Waschküche mit Klapptisch, WLAN, Kabel-TV, Netflix, DVD / Video-Player, eine große Menge an DVDs / Videos, ein Kinder-Laufstall, ein Krocket-Set, viele Spiele und vieles mehr ein Teleskop, um den Horizont nach Walen abzusuchen.

The house was awesome! The view was phenomenal. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was great . We stayed here as our daughter was graduating from college over the weekend. It accommodated us perfectly. Close to the ocean , grocery store and a some restaurants. Arlene the owner was in contact with my wife making sure everything was up to par. Highly recommended rental.

We had a family reunion, 21st birthday, and even a surprise marriage proposal wrapped into our stay and this house and we couldnt be happier with our choice to stay here. Arlene, our host, was very attentive and checking in and out was a breeze. The house was very welll appointed and it felt like home. Now I understand why its so popular. From the view, to the nice size bedrooms and yard, we never felt cramped and the pictures really described the house well. If I can ever find a break in the calendar, I would definitely stay here again. Best

What a great vacation home. Has everything anyone would want and plenty of room for the family. Great views, easy walk to beach and town. Arlene easy to work with and helpful at every turn. We are booking again for next year and hope to make it one of our families regular places.

This is a beautiful home with a terrific patio and view. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We loved being able to walk downtown for dinner. The bedrooms were comfortable and roomy. Will definitely stay here again.

Our group loved the house and surrounding area. The house was very nice and was a wonderful place to look out over the ocean from the deck. The house was private, even though you were only a few blocks from so much to do for the whole family. There were restaurants, wine tasting, an art gallery, hikes, a marine laboratory with touch tanks, museum, kayak rentals, and the beach. The beach had incredibly scenery, tide pools and lovely sunsets! The neighborhood was lovely just to walk in. Not to mention the Redwoods and so many other beautiful parks nearby. So sorry we had to leave!

We liked the view, the house, the yard, and the nice walk to the beach. The bedrooms are downstairs, so if someone goes to bed early, they need to tell the upstairs people not to scrape their chairs across the floor, etc.

Trinidad is a fabulous little town with just enough to do. There is is coffee shop, a nice market and a couple of shops all with walking distance to the house. There are great hikes right from the house. The steep walk to the beach is well worth the trip. The beach is second to none. The redwood hikes are close by, try Fern Canyon in Prairie Creek. The house worked well for a family of eight adults. (We could have used two more chairs in the dining room) The grill was clean and in good shape. The deck sunset view is great.

Sunset house is beautiful. The view of the ocean is lovely. The house is large and comfortable. We all felt “at home”. The neighborhood is quiet and centrally located. We were able to walk to local restaurants and shops, and the beach.

We were so happy with the Sunset House. The location is PERFECT! You can walk to everything in Trinidad (grocery store, cafe, art gallery, little shops) all within a few blocks. There is a path leading down to Trinidad State Beach from the street (although steep and windy, my 6 and 10 year olds thought it a great adventure) or you can drive 4 minutes to the parking lot at the beach and walk right on. The house had everything we needed and easily had enough space for all of us. We loved our stay!

Couples Northern California Getaway
Cute house in a great area! This was our first experience with Vrbo and we were very pleased with Sunset House! We liked the retro 70's feel and the comfy accommodations. Everything was clean and well cared for. The flowers and wine on the dining room table upon arrival were a pleasant surprise! The views were incredible, especially the sunsets! The neighborhood is quiet, and the town of Trinidad is quaint with a beautiful beach and cute shops and restaurants. It was easy to get to from the highway and pretty central to points of interest in the area.

Perfect Family Stay!
There were 7 of us staying at Sunset House in order to attend our son's graduation from Cal Poly Humboldt. It was perfect for the adults and our 2 grandchildren (ages 2 and 4.) All the beds were comforfortable with extra blankets available. The bathrooms all had plenty of towels and soap, shampoo & conditioner supplied. The kitchen had everything we needed with some basic spices, coffee for the first morning, a lovely bouquet of flowers and a local bottle of wine to welcome us. The ocean view from the family room and huge front deck was awesome, especially in the afternoons and sunsets!!! The kids loved exploring the backyard and finding slugs and rolly-polly bugs enjoying nature. Just a perfect house for our family celebration!

Good place for a group
It was a good place to stay for a group of couples and some little ones. The house had plenty of anything you might need. The only downside was there are a lot of steps and there was no way to close them off to keep the little ones from falling. If we rent this place again we will bring a long baby gate, because a standard one wouldn’t be long enough to close off the steps.

The owners always responds right away to my questions and make sure everything is perfect when we arrive. The view off the deck and location in town are perfect for when we come to relax and run our annual Trinidad To Clam Beach Run.

Beautiful Property
Stayed in this house across the street from my daughter's wedding. Worst storm to hit the west coast all year, but the whole thing was beautiful, and I have some incredible pictures of the sky. Would definitely recommend this house, and would stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful!
You really can't beat this house - and the view! The house itself is super cool with large bedrooms. All beds were comfortable and we slept like rocks! The backyard is large and secluded. The flowers around the property (and Trinidad) were gorgeous - we couldn't get over them! The house had everything we needed toiletry and kitchen-wise. Arlene and her crew even included a lovely bottle of wine for us after a long day of traveling! Last but not least - the deck with the view. We never wanted to leave!

Terrific location
This is a nice, roomy house in an excellent neighborhood. The views to and of the ocean are terrific. It’s within easy walking distance of the cute downtown shopping area of Trinidad, and well located for sightseeing. Eureka is a short drive south, and many, many great redwood hikes and walks are close by. We saw great wildlife in the area: elk, fox, pelicans, seals and lots of shore birds.
The house itself is very comfortable, clean and well stocked. The host was a dream to work with - even left us surprise treats upon our arrival. Highly recommend!

Lovely getaway
We had a nice, relaxing visit with family. The house was nice, quiet and private. Loved the short distance to town and the beach, as you could walk and find nearly everything you were after. The owner was kind and responsive with any needs we had, she also gave us lots of privacy, which was much appreciated. I’m sure we will be back. Love beautiful Trinidad.

Welcome respite
Our family of 3 stayed with another family of 3 and our party included 2 teen boys. The layout with 4 bedrooms worked very well for our group. Because of COVID, we made good use of the kitchen and BBQ rather than eating out and we spent our days exploring the many lovely parks and beaches nearby. It is a great uncrowded area to explore at a time when distance from other parties is required. The location in town made for easy access to the local market to supplement our supplies and came with a lovely view as well. We had better weather than we expected, which was an added bonus. Thank you for a great stay.

Great location with beautiful views.
The house was big and spacious with comfortable beds. The host was very nice to work with. She quickly responded to all questions and concerns, and she went out of her way to help with reservation changes. The best part of the house was the deck and views of the ocean. The only thing we were concerned about was that the wood stairs inside the house were slippery. Overall very nice stay, and would love to come back someday.

Perfect for our large family
We loved our stay at Sunset house. The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to spread out. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the baking and cooking supplies we needed. We have six children ages 2 to 15. The little children loved exploring the backyard. The older kids liked to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view. Arlene was kind to leave some sand toys for us to use at the beach. The walk to the beach took about 10 minutes. It was a little challenging for the small children. We discovered that it's easier to walk on the roads to the beach if you have small children and that is what we usually did. We enjoyed playing on the Trinidad State Park Beach and also the short drive to Moonstone Beach 8 minutes south.

Wonderful stay!
We loved the Sunset House and will definitely be back! The house accommodated our group of 8 perfectly. We spent the most time on the HUGE deck with the ocean view- priceless. We could walk into the little town for anything we needed. The house provided the relaxing, coastal vacation we were needing.
