Excelent location and layout of home. Peaceful neighborhood. We enjoyed lkg time during the day and fellowship at night playing cards and lots of laughter. Loved hot tub and pool. Plenty of room for the 7 of us to have our own space. Host had excellent communication. We will return.

The host Natalie was wonderful to work with even before we arrived. My husband and I spent two days alone with our dog and it was perfect for us but it got even better when our two sons and their families arrived. There were so many amenities-pool, pool table, hot tub, foosball, games, books, horse shoes, volleyball (we have tennis players so they used the net to volley too), swing by the water, hammock, nice view from the deck, etc. The cove was quiet so we enjoyed skiing, kneeboarding and tubing as well and the boat house was great for our boat. The property was very clean, the linens were top quality and the mattresses were very comfy. Natalie addressed any concerns we had immediately. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious for cooking. There was plenty of room for all of us to eat together too. All in all it was the best house we’ve rented at Gaston (and we’ve rented a lot) and we hope to go back in the future. Thanks to Natalie for being a superb host!

This was our second time here and we had a fabulous time, despite Tropical Storm Debby trying to ruin our plans. We brought our boat and the kids (and kids at heart) loved every minute out on the lake. The house is cozy but has enough room to spread out, even with 6 kids under 11 running around. Natalie was terrific and communicated very well - especially as the storm approached to be sure all was well. Between fishing, swimming, s’mores, and the Olympics we had a memorable vacation!

Our quality time together was probably the best we’ve had on our family vacations. Boating, tubing, jet skiing, swimming, movies, games, fun and food was enjoyed by all. We stayed early in the season and had a few minor kinks but Natalie, our host was just a phone call away and ensured the the issues were addressed immediately. We love Lake Gaston and will be back!!

My family and I had a great week at this home! The kitchen was well stocked and communication with Natalie was awesome. The view of the lake is limited due to the location of the home and the best view is from the deck by the master bedroom. Some trimming of the bushes and trees would allow for greater views but overall, this was a nice stay!

Our daughter brought her golden doodle. Great place to bring your dog. Great fishing! Neighborhood boat launch right next door. We went first week in June. Pool is not heated and was too cold for the adults. Didn’t stop the kids though! Natalie was the best! She was very helpful.

Beautiful home, very spacious, perfect for a family getaway. This home had everything we needed and more. Perfect location on the water, right next to the boat ramp for easy access to put our boat in. The pool and hot tub were a big hit. Plenty of room for cooking and gathering together in the open floor plan for some good family together time. Loved our trip!!

Overall, Summer Breeze was an excellent choice for a family gathering! The indoor gathering space was nice with the large sectional, plenty of counter tops for food prep, and two huge tables though we only needed one. Well equipped kitchen.
The deck was nice but the pollen was very heavy this time of year. Big yard was perfect for an Easter egg hunt. We enjoyed playing pool, soaking in the hot tub, fishing off the dock, and kayaking. Would recommend renting a boat in season! Love to return when the pool is open!

We arrived during Tropical Storm Ophelia and Kevin (maintenance) was working so hard to keep up with the debris coming down. He wanted everything to be perfect. Natalie called the day before to see if we had any questions and to make sure we had everything we needed. Any time we had any questions, I sent her a message and she responded within minutes!!
The layout of the house is perfect for multiple families. Downstairs has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, laundry, kitchen, living room, pool table, fooseball, and access to outside. Upstairs is more formal with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, kitchen, dining and living room. The upstairs deck overlooks the pool and water.
We had friends and family with us and our adult children and grandchildren created memories we will never forget! Everyone was already talking about doing it again. Every ages group had an amazing time.

We very much enjoyed ourselves at this home. There was only 7 of us staying at the house, but there was plenty of space for larger groups. The house and pool area was very clean. We spent may hours in the pool and jacuzzi. We rented a pontoon boat and it fit perfectly in their boat dock slip.
The also liked the location. We ate at the Waterview restaurant one night, we highly recommend, and it was a short drive. We also went to Rosemont winery, which was also a short drive from the house.

This property provided us with even more than last years stay. With updating the on-suite bathroom for easier accessibility for my older parents to a more efficient AC unit for downstairs. These owners care about their renters and aim to please to the best of their ability. They have do so many updates in 1 year and improvements to what was a perfect house already. They have thought of everyone and provided something for everyone. Looking forward to renting again next August.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this location. We loved having the two dining tables in the same area so we could ALL gather together for a meal. The two kitchens was a plus.
Having the option of the pool or the lake was wonderful, especially having young children. There are multiple activities available on the property. We did rent a boat and paddle board. That added to our experience.
Now it’s time to rest from our family vacation.

The location of the home was great. The house has a ton of amenities so the “kids” have something to do at all times. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and kayaking (rented kayaks) as well as finishing from the dock. Spent every morning on the deck, enjoying coffee and chatting. Would definitely recommend the home!

This house was perfect for our family of 9 adults and 6 children. The weather was not very accommodating but we enjoyed fishing, s’mores around the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub, boat riding and making memories! The kitchen upstairs is stocked with everything you need for cooking. Had a great time and hope to revisit again! Natalie was great to work with and quick to respond to any questions we had! Love the house and the location!

My family and I have been using VRBO for over 10 years. From our wedding in Colorado in 2013 to our most recent stay in the Lake Gaston area. Natalie, our host, was exceptional. She reached out to us a few days before our trip and provided valuable assistance, which is rare. The house itself was spectacular - fully stocked, in a convenient location, spacious, and perfect for us. The kids had a great time playing indoors and outdoors, and even though it was a little chilly outside, we thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi. Thank you, Natalie. We look forward to staying in your lovely VR again and highly recommend this place.

What a beautiful property. My family came over to visit from the UK and got a fantastic taste of lake life. The house is fully loaded, really enjoyed relaxing round the pool. The dock was excellent for our boat. Loved the the fact the owner is willing to allow dogs, our dogs had the best time! All around Great Lake house made some fantastic memories here and already looking to rebook for next year!

Between swimming in the pool, soaking in the hot tub and enjoying all of the activities on the lake, we truly enjoyed all aspects of Summer Breeze! We brought our kayaks, floats, boat, tubes, rafts, fishing poles and gear, and had a blast!

Great house!
We had a great week! There were 11 of us and there was plenty of room. The pool and hot tub was clean and we enjoyed them. Also the pool table. We would all gather in the tv area at night to watch movies and all found a spot to sit or lay. My husband is partially handicapped and the walk to the boat house was a little rough for him but everyone else did fine. We would stay here again except we need to find someplace right in the water. But great house!

Fun family week
Home sits on a very nice piece of property. Pool and hot tub were used a lot! Rented a boat for a few days and we all enjoyed that. Kitchen and great room were very nice. Two huge tables were used for dinners. Read previous comments from owners that they were going to update
Master bedroom and bath which is much needed (dark brown walls, tub and sink need to go!). Bed was very comfortable though. Nothing to do with the home but we were surprised that there weren’t more restaurants and attractions available. But all in all it was a fun family week!
