夕食案内はあったのですが・・どこも満員だったり、貸し切りだったりで食べ損ねるかと思いましたよ。 何とか食べられましたが(*_*;。小樽で夕食食べられないとは思いませんでした。

Easy access, reasonable price and central. Very clean with all amenities.

It was nice to go hang out in the bar, especially as a solo traveler. It was not very busy (I think maybe on Thursdays they were only open for guests?) but I still ended up chatting to some other guests. Very cosy bar. The room is nice as well, quite spacious and nicely decorated. There's a big living room space as well, which is very nice to have in a hostel.

The only negative thing I can say is that the bed was not very comfortable. Maybe a slightly thicker mattress would be better?

The hotel is about 13 minutes walk from the Otaru station, not too far. The price is affordable and not expensive. The room and beds are really comfortable. The staffs are very friendly, helpful, supportive. They allowed me to self check in late at midnight with very detailed instructions and also support me my inquiries a lot! The hotel is not far from Otaru canal. Thanks so much for trying to answer many questions from me!. Would recommend to stay.

My room is on 1st floor but the toilets and bathrooms are on ground floor. A bit not convenient especially in mid-night

The welcome drink was delicious! I came late and wanted to walk around the area before turning in, or I would have stayed and drank more. I wish the bar were open earlier because I wanted to get at least one more drink before leaving the next day.

Everything was great

I like everything about Otaru tap room! Despite having stayed only one night, me and my boyfriend liked the atmosphere very much and the staff was super cool with us giving a free drink from the hostel bar. The private room is standard size and very cozy, the bed is better than that of our house haha. The living room has a great space for cooking with all the kitchen utensils. They though in every little things, even the toilet has a great fragrance, and also some tampons in the women 🚺 toilet. The hostel is close to the Otaru canal and gives Otaru station, close to konbini and a pizzeria as well. Anyway, great location! I would recommend this hostel for everyone who need a stay in Otaru (which was the best city we visited in Hokkaido). It worth the price (was cheap at the time) but even if they make an adjustment in the future, it would still be worth it, my opinion.

The staff are very kind and welcoming. The tap room had excellent beers on tap. Got to try a local sake as well. The food is good here. The common room is large and spacious. Overall, staying here was an enjoyable and relaxing experience

It took a minute to figure out how the heater controller worked, but I figured it out with Google translate.

Clean premises, location is not ideal, quite a distance to everywhere but for the price is still reasonable.

The operators seem not staying in the hostel, some of their guests are terrible. Both of my days encounter the other guests playing or drunk, whole body heavily banged on my room door, heavy steps noise all night till 1-2am due to the timber flooring. The room door cannot be locked, I got shock up a few times worrying someone opening our room door. 8am, someone start practicing his guitar. I don't mind if there are some nice melodies in early morning but NOT PRACTISING!!!! Unfortunately, unable to sleep well in this hostel, tatami abit flatten, someone always bang on the room door in 1-2am, and wake up by the noisy guitar at 8am.....
