la gestion en application QR code trop contraignant pas fluide car mauvaise connexion dans l'hotel
difficile d'avoir un transat libre un peu exigu

Loved the location and the pools and likes that the music wasn’t too loud
That you had to book the Italian restaurant 2 nights in advance

Rien

Honteux.

Couldn’t recommend more
Was apprehensive due to the reviewes but food was amazing could do A le carte at Portofino restaurant every night if wished! Loads of things for kids. Can’t wait to go back

Had a lovely stay with the family. Perfect for people with kids.
4.0 / 5.0
The place was very clean and tidy. Pool facilities where great
The choice of food on different nights Asian night had a lake of verity. There were some sauces, only 2 on the night.
The lack of safety when cleaning around the pool. Saw 2 people fall and no wet floor signs anywhere to be seen. After one fall, strips were installed, but they were lifting within hours, causing another hazard. Entertainment at night was lacking. Would do great if there was more for the adults and not just the kids
3.0 / 5.0
The room was good size for a family of 4. One king size bed and another sofa bed which was like a good double bed so can’t complain.
The food has relatively lesser options in comparison to other all inclusive we have stayed at.
we paid a chunk of money for a sea view room and what we had could barely be termed as sea view.
4.0 / 5.0
Staff listened to our complaint , changed the room and gave an upgrade. Late check out (for a fee) was also very useful.
Kids club activities and staff there are friendly and engaging and my kid loved it. In house mascot is nice and disco was fun.
Heated bubbly pool in the adult zone.
Spa is nice (but comes at an extra cost)
Inside parking is good for hot days.
It is an oldish hotel and quite crowded. Furniture needs to be refreshed. Pillows and matrasses are terribly uncomfortable.
The food choice gets very monotonous in a week and the restaurant is super crowded and noisy and not always clean.
Two most annoying things:
- very rigid, restricted schedule for getting/changing pool towels;
- coffee and tea are not available is resto area at lunch and dinner but there are mountains of deserts; you can get coffee/tea in a bar but no sweet stuff there

Our room was lovely. Quiet, clean. Huge balcony. Big room with 2 separate bedrooms, 2 very comfortable beds.
A good 4 star but definitely not a 5. Overpriced for what it is.
Buffet was very repetitive and a lot of the dinner options were over cooked.
Disappointed no strawberries or water melon at breakfast, and no smoked salmon either. Didn't see any sushi on offer even though mentioned in previous reviews.
The Italian al a carte pleasant but not an al a carte when you have to help yourself to starters and desserts.
No pool side drink or food service. The loungers need to be managed as most were 'taken' before breakfast.
The main pool floor was very rough and the children all cut their feet.
Actually think that the hotel is too big! Staff couldn't quite cope with the amount of people. Felt over crowded in part even though such a huge space.
4.5 / 5.0
The hotel and staff were great. The staff was always very active with the kids, making sure they are having fun.
The staff of the restaurant and bar, were incredible, always looking forward to make you happy.
Lanzarote is a fantastic place.
For sure we will come again.
Probably a little bit more variety on the food offer.
5.0 / 5.0
The hotel is a nice location a little bit out of Playa Blanca, and within a walkable distance to Playa Mujeres (15-20 min) and, with 20-30 min more to Playa Papagayo. I like the rooms, really big and clean, with a nice view over the ocean. Staff is super-friendly and helpful, and always smiling. Food is good as well, sometimes is a little bit repetitive but overall you have a lot of choices.
We liked the cinema, the water slides, and overall, the opportunity of having fun.
I would recommend to rent a car to visit Lanzarote and to go to Playa Blanca as well (by car you need around 5 min).
Really minor things: the hotel is really big and I prefer smaller ones, but it is very well managed.
The mattresses were too soft but this is just a personal taste.
In the evening events maybe the volume is a little bit too high, so it can be uncomfortable for the small children, but they are doing a great job and everyone is having a lot of fun

Great place for family, kids show every night, pool party, friendly staff and great service all over!

Beautiful hotel and resort. I travelled with 3 kids between 5-11 and it was brilliant. Staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Food was great. And I liked that you could get snack food and slushies etc as part of the all inclusive throughout the day in between meals.
Nothing

Everything was fine, we enjoyed the stay. Perfect.

I didn’t like few things which I think could be improved so much that families there would have much better stay…. First I did not like was that on the side when was a kids slides and baby pool there were no hot food served !
we had to go all the way to main building to get some hot lunch , chips and fingers…Thats a big no for me cos it should be easier for families with small kids… Second thing I didn’t like it was the playing area where All kids were allowed???? so imagine young toddlers up to 3 years old being just pushed and hit by the kids of 10 years old !
this Hotel is massive surely could do a separate playground for young and older kids
3 thing I really struggle with was a beach towels where U could only exchange in certain hours :(
so U we’re basically walking with wet towels all day long cos sometimes they had no new once left
4th thing - was not cleaning room properly
they didnt changed the sheets , they didnt clean the floor only swiped,

Very good food (although the way some of it was presented could have been improved a lot!)
Good location - spacious rooms, good cleaning.
Nice buildings.
The check-in procedure qas surprising. The room was supposed to be ready at 3 PM - we arrived 5.30 and had to wait for 30 minutes.... The first staff did not make any apologies - however the second apologised.
The staff in the restaurant was not always very attentive...
The bar staff was very good - also the cleaning staff. The restaurant staff and reception could have been more attentive.
Main disappointment; the adults only - pool and area was closed for the duration of our stay due to a water problem. We were not told this on arrival. The main problem was that at the other pool, the animation team played very loud music for long periods of the day - making it not a very attractive place to rest....
4.0 / 5.0
Lot of pools designed for kids and it was a lot of families with kids. One pool was for adults only and it was a perfect place to rest with drinks from the bar at the pool. Indoor pool was not part for all-inclusive, you have to pay 20Eur and make a reservation, but you don`t need to go there. Ocean beach in front of the hotel was rocky, but 15 minutes walk and you are at big sand beach Playa Mujeres. We rent a car and we travelled across the island and we enjoyed some hikes and empty beaches along the island. We stayed here in January right after New Year and it was hot during lunch and evenings were around 17celsius. Ocean was fresh but we swam there and then we dried up at the beach. Was a bit windy but it is everywhere on island.

Sea Views from hotel room
Pool
No activities for our 12 and 13 year old, they were too big for maxi club.
It would have been nice if there was a teenage club or activities for that age group.
2.0 / 5.0
Great scenery.
The sun.
Lack of taxi availability to visit locale, so stuck at hotel during stay.
Poor food options, plus quality and taste poor. All inclusive was a rip off. Apparently we had to pay extra for simple ice lollies.
Poor labelling of food at buffets.
Lack of staff friendliness
Lack of atmosphere at pool areas
Lack of proficient English speakers.
Confusing layout to buffet restaurant
Table cleared and new guests seated whilst we fetched more food, leaving us to walk around with cold food on plates and search for another table.
Poor kids evening entertainment, where night after night same repetitive songs and formula used . My 6 year old just wanted to get out of there. Variety would have helped.
Room not cleaned properly, with bathtub left uncleaned.
Arrived into room with empty soap dispensers. This took staff 2 days to fill!
Customer service lacking and staff made you feel like you were putting them out. Nobody showed us to our room or helped with luggage until we returned to reception (because we got lost). Hotel has confusing layout and is large. Not a great welcome at front desk on check -in. Not a welcome drink or anything.
Pools were not warm enough for this time of year.
Not a five star experience, not by a mile. Three star at best. Not happy with how much we spent and what we got from this holiday.
2.5 / 5.0
It's not a real 5 star hotel. I would rate it as a 4 or even 3 star. It's not worth the money you pay for it. The conditioner and body lotion in the bathroom was not refilled for 6 days. They cleaned the room late in the afternoon.
The whole positive experience was destroyed by one COCKROACH found in our room :(((( It was huge...We complained to the hotel management and they just offered to change the room. It was already late and the last night of our stay so the solution was not so useful for us to move for just so short time. And where is the guarantee that there are no cockroaches there?
2.5 / 5.0
Fine foods everytime, good location, perfect service everywhere, helpful receptionists.
We choose this hotel to have a good rest. On the other hand, the hotel was pretty full with babies, children of every age, so we couldn't even talk to each other neither by the pools, nor In the restaurant because of the permanent and unbearable crying and shouting.
4.5 / 5.0
The hotel looks amazing from outside. We arrived in the evening and it looked fantastic with the lights. The welcome drinks were a nice surprise. The hotel is well kept and clean. We stayed in one of the Merlin rooms which was amazing. The pools are nice and warm. The food options amazing. The location is great. And the client parking is just a dream. Will definitely recommend.
Our Air conditioning in the room didn't work but my wife hates AC so it didnt really bother us but would've been nice for when it got too hot. Oh and Pillows. I love pillows and just an extra pillow to spare wasnt really enough. Also would've like a proper bed and not two stuck together.

Good food
A little tired in places
1.0 / 5.0
Good sized room and balcony - kept clean although decor and furnishings a little dated. Adult only pool area with jacuzzies very nice with its own bar area - an oasis in an otherwise children's environment. Staff all friendly and helpful.
A la carte restaurant (Portofino) excellent and you can go twice for free.
Too many children! Loud and messy. Inappropriate examples of children selecting food from buffet restaurant - hair and hands in everything! Children allowed to run around sports bar (and everywhere) without adult supervision, spoiling other customers holiday. Entertainment for adults non existent. Cocktails made from pre-mix rather than fresh. For a 5 star, no international spirits and not even an Irish coffee included. Food in buffet restaurant awful. Fresh fruit, salads, etc, tasteless. Meat slimy. Pizzas looked undercooked but were dry. Snack bar food left out all day - looked unappetising, dried up and cold. Cooked breakfast items cold. Coffee from machines dreadful. Not much nearby to go to in the evening for decent food, drink and entertainment - 15 minute walk or £3.50 taxi. One day we returned to our room to find a child had defecated in the corridor - I called reception and it was cleaned up quickly but this speaks to the clientele at the hotel. Definitely not a 5 star - 4 at a push but have stayed in better 3 stars.
2.5 / 5.0
Good 5 star hotel for children not for adults could do with adults only restaurants
