Magnifique bâtiments, très bien décoré, personnel attentionné et efficace, restaurant excellent, ambiance général, situation dans la ville, chambre calme et confortable.
Piscine trop petite, service au restaurant irrégulier (le 2° soir de notre séjour).

The staff was ok, but just. The location was good and the garage was not too difficult to get in. Our room was acceptable although the batheroom looked outdated a lot.
The hotel was in a bit of a mess and you could only enter it via the garage. Breakfast was ... a mess ... given the present of a horde of Chinese Bus Tourists that stormed the breakfast room like locusts. It's a place with lots of potential but they have to get their acts together

Stylist Parador. Comfortable room and beds. We had dinner in the restaurant and there were lots of options of tasty dishes to choose from. Excellent regional wine too. Staff were friendly and helpful too.
The main entrance door was closed due to ongoing repairs. But the repairs did not cause any inconvenience to guests.

Centrale plek in Merida, prima
Check-en en check-out nog erg 20e eeuw. Met papier en calculator. Traag daardoor, ondanks inzet personeel. In het restaurant zie je dat ervaren leiding ontbreekt. Personeel werkt hard maar zoekt voortdurend naar eigen taak en plek. Tijd om wat ambtenaren te vervangen door mensen met gevoel voor hospitality!

Nice large rooms in a historic building, convenient for the roman sites and close to some good restaurants
Very limited breakfast choices. Most arrives on a large plate already chosen for you. Quantity is fine but it’s bit heavy on ham and pastries and light on fruit/yoghurt etc for our tastes

lovely building, an oasis close to the heart of rather scruffy Merida, in walking distance of all the wonderful Roman remains, with a good restaurant and helpful staff

The hotel was comfortable enough given that it’s in a historic building that could render it less so. Our room was classic and old fashioned in the right sense of the term as it was in keeping with the building. It was good value for money and parking was easy (for a nightly fee). The location meant we got to enjoy this amazing little town easily on foot. The buzzy modern town is delightful with people going about their business and families out on weekends. The Roman remains were a revelation, so accessible, extensive and fascinating. The Roman bridge is an absolute wonder.
Nothing.

The location, the ambience and the staff, especially Christian we’re excellent
The bed in our room should be put on a bonfire! Every time one of us moved the bed creaked and woke up the other!Sort it!

The old monastery was restaured very nicely.
It was very hot and the air condition did
not work because “the summer is over” we had to ask for an electric fan.

I love the age of this place and how it's been evolved to its present form staff were kind and exceptionally helpful. The food was up the usual parador standards. I have been here before and liked it even more this time
Nothing to complain about

Never having stayed at a Parador before decided to give it a try. We also wanted to visit Merida on our way down to the south of Spain. The location was fantastic and within easy walking of all the main sights. The hotel was fantastic and truly enjoyable. The restaurants and food were amazing. A brilliant stay that I will remember for a long time.
The only downside of the visit was because of the time of the year, the air conditioning was switched off. Our room was at 26 degrees when we went to bed. The doors onto the balcony did not have any mosquito screens, so couldn't be left open.

Really beautiful historic conversion. This Parador was beautiful and meticulously kept.
We loved the ambience of the whole building.
The staff were kind and the beds comfortable with lovely linens.
The pool and gardens were small.

Location is excellent in the heart of Merida. The old building is charming. We were able to park in the underground, gated, car park.
Swimming pool is relatively small with limited access when hotel is busy.
Bar service was not as professional as usual for Parador (waiter part poured drinks at the table but the bottle was empty before completion. He said he would get another but failed to return).
