VERY DATED BATHROOM, TOILET DIDNT FLUSH, WE USED A BUCKET TO FLUSH DURING THE NIGHT. OUR SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM AT THAT TIME OF DAY. PLUMBER ATTENDED NEXT DAY. THE RESULT STILL DIDNT WORK PROPERLY.

Breakfast was very hot and tasted nice. Room was lovely and quiet.

Breakfast was quite expensive compared to other places and drinks at breakfast small and not unlimited.

We had 2 rooms, one disabled and the other directly across from it. Disabled room was fine but the other room had dampness around windows and broken tiles in bathroom. Rooms beside us were empty after a couple of days and doors were left open after clearing so we had a look and were left wishing that we had those rooms as they were so much better than ours. On a plus point Staff were fantastic and very attentive

very clean and quiet and comfortable. I had a room at the back of the property and it was lovely and quiet even with the windows open. Would recommend this if staying in the area and great value for money

if i was being pushed I would say the decor is a little dated, however very clean and comfortable

Late night door slamming from downstairs; very bright exterior lighting shining directly into bedroom and the blinds and curtains offered little shading; no WiFi coverage in room; facilities very tired; reasonably comfortable for the price

Location is great. Staff very friendly. Clean and tidy

Our kettle was full of lime scale which was sorted by staff when asked. The main issue was the sound of some sort of boiler system which was a constant on off through out the night causing for a poor night sleep.

The cost for 2 nights , the location, how clean it was superb.

Wait 1 hour for evening meal although tasty when served presentation not good Not enough tea coffee milk toiletries catered for 1 not 2 although friendly reception found us more supplies

Remember it’s a 2 star ⭐️ hotel and room and en-suite all clean and exceeded expectations. Staff are super friendly and exceptionally friendly. Needed to be near the train station and this fitted the bill nicely.

Only negative was the quality of the beds,.

Dreadful road noise most of the night, i could have been at a race track
