Great location for the town centre, bathroom was Spotless!!
Very dated and was VERY Shocked to hear an alarm sound every hour from 8am, I presume to wake people up to kick them out before 10.30am. NOT NECESSARY on a Sunday morning

The Hotel provided everything I needed for my stay. The hotel and room was basic but very comfortable, quiet, and the staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was traditional, but lovely. Ideal in fact.
The hotel was very tired, with old, dated fittings and furnishings, and the room cleanliness could have been a bit better. There was a very long hair in the shower tray, and there were bits of stuff on the room carpet. However that may be a bit harsh as it clear the staff throughly clean the rooms and it’s easy to miss bits. There was no lounge area, which would have been nice. However I don’t want to be too harsh as the good far outweighed the bad and I would most definitely opt to stay there again should I be in the area for more than a day again. Value for money is absolutely excellent

Very cheap and close to the town center.
Shower water pressure very low bed was not comfortable and a lot of noise from the road at the front of the property

Rooms very tired. First room had to change as full of cigarette smoke.

Breakfast went very well and was exceptional. Room was acceptable for the price I paid.
The approach to the Car Park was an experience that with care could be better. It could not have been worse ! During the last night there was fire alarm that went off and after that at 2 a.m. there was shouting and a woman screaming. Nobody came to investigate as it went on for some time.

Location was good for us
Very tight to get to parking area, whole hotel very dated , our room had signs of damp just inside the door , toilet wouldn't flush very well and walls are very thin as we heard other guests in hotel getting showered and dressed at 6am ,pillows were very thin so basically laid flat , at breakfast my poached egg was not fully cooked some of the whites we're still transparent

Visit for work on a regular basis and have stayed in many hotels/lodges in the area. found this little gem, wont stay anywhere else now. room good, bed comfortable and breakfast knock out. i dont eat for the rest of the day !
some fixtures and fittings need renewing, no on site bar at the moment

the room was large and comfortable. the breakfast was very good.
shower was large but there was no control to adjust the temperature , the car park was small and they shut the gate during the day.

possibly short-staffed, rushed off their feet. Same chap manning reception, serving breakfast and cleaning the rooms, pleasant enough but wanted to clean the room at 8.10 am when we were returning from breakfast, when we were checking out before 10am. Shower was ‘under repair’ so screen was wedged open with a screw, so couldn’t close it, shower was fixed overhead so felt not possible to wash as well as we liked!

The hotel needs modernisation although you can say its value for money the decor and things like the wonky t.v let it down. The hotel is very dated.

Route to car park was bizarre. Car park too small for number of guests. Licensed bar unlicensed, so had to go down road. Cleanliness of room questionable, height of shower ridiculous, comfort of bed very poor. Access to wardrobe impaired.

The property is dated but the price I paid defiantly good price. Lovely and clean and staff were very helpful. Breakfast included as well and was amazing breakfast.
Parking is the only fault I could find. Carpark small for the amount of rooms there but you can park on the road
