a very basic hotel (albeit we didnt pay much). The staff made us feel very unwelcome. we were please we had onle booked the one night.

Der Kaffee zum Frühstück war lecker

Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer mehrspurigen Schnellstraße, nicht "direkt am Meer". Den Privatstrand haben wir nicht angeschaut. Das Gebäude ist umgeben von einer mehrspurigen Schnellstraße, einer stillgelegten Tankstelle und einem großen Parkplatz. Also kein ansprechendes Umfeld. Das Gebäude selbst ist in die Jahre gekommen, in unserem Zimmer waren die Matratzen schief, es gab Massen von Mücken, eine laute Klimaanlage und während der Nacht immer wieder Krach durch andere Bewohner (Türknallen, lautes Gelächter auf den Fluren, Fahrstuhl....). Ständiges Hundegebell aus einem nahegelegenen, eingezäunten "Park". Das Frühstück war für ernährungsbewußte Menschen enttäuschend (Kuchen, Toastbrot, abgepackte Butter, Marmelade, Cornflakes... ). Den Flughafen Catania, der Luftlinie ca. 1,5km und über größere Straßen ca. 5 km entfernt ist, kann man, obwohl bei Google-Maps so angegeben, nicht zu Fuß erreichen (lebensgefährliche Schnellstraßen, Autobahn). Die Taxifahrer haben sich abgesprochen und verlangen für die einfache Fahrt kategorisch 25 Euro (also 5 Euro/km). Eine Frechheit! Als wir beim Abreisetag an der Rezeption um die Bestellung eines Taxis baten, kam ein privater PKW. Natürlich mussten wir auch hier 25 Euro zahlen - ohne Quittung.

Good location for the beach. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Good value for money.

Difficult to get to the city centre. Only option is taxi and it is very expensive.

Breakfast had a big selection!

The installations are quite run down and dirty. The staff let the windows open all day long and by the time we got there the room was full of mosquitoes. The walls had a mosquito kill track. My partner is proud to get the kill highest up on the wall ( almost at the ceiling).

La proximite de la mer.

La surete des biens gardes dans le seif. Mes amies ont oublie les bijoux dans le seif de la chambre , et quand on a signale le fait apres quelques jours, ils ne savaient meme pas qu’il y avait un seif dans la chambre. Donc, tout est perdu. Desagreable experience.

Wij hebben hier overnacht na aankomst op het vliegveld in Catania. Prima plek om te overnachten. De bar was dicht toen we aankwamen, maar we kregen van de vriendelijke receptionist wat te drinken om mee te nemen naar de kamer.

struttura obsoleta, ha bisogno di ristrutturazione anche se fondamentalmente è buona, peccato insomma. nei dintorni da non guardare dalle finestre, dalla parte dell'ingresso vista strada in cui sfrecciano le macchine, la parte posteriore struttura abbandonata fatiscente. purtroppo la zona è molto movimentata e in estate fino alla notte musica di discoteca dappertutto, il problema è però che gli aerei ti decollano e atterrano praticamente sulla testa quindi dormire è impossibile.
