The property was very nice and clean.

There wasn’t really anything to not like.

Quiet location and pleasant village setting. The hotel itself is attractive and the room was well presented.

The hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay. This meant several areas of the bar, restaurant and lobby area were out of bounds whilst work continued until late at night, and resumed early the following morning. This prevented us from feeling relaxed and rested after a long journey. These renovations was not communicated at the time of booking else we would likely have made arrangements to stay elsewhere.

Rubbish old windows so can hear the road next to you. But isn’t an issue if you travel as much as me and carry spare ear plugs.

Comfortable and clean rooms.

The continental breakfast would be good as a buffet style (self service), before ordering the cooked breakfast.

Very friendly, professional and polite staff, cosy nice room and a lovely English breakfast. Excellent hotel and parking facilities.
