La ubicación

La pieza que me dieron no era la que elegí por booking, baño pequeño con poca ventilación, además en la pieza me encontré con 2 cucarachas, avisé pero nadie hizo nada. Por otro lado, la tv estaba mal ubicada.

No había llave independiente para abrir la reja inicial por lo que debía tocar el timbre para cada vez que salía, cuando llegue el primer día el baño era exterior a la habitación, era pequeño y y estaba con sachet de shampoo en la ducha, la habitación extremadamente calurosa por lo que había que mantener la ventana abierta y de noche se escuchaba todo de afuera, no tenía llave la puerta que daba a un cobertizo de la pieza porque lo que daba inseguridad, el personal muy poco preocupado de como me sentía en la estancia.

Localização incrível (poucos passos do metrô, restaurantes e supermercados, além de uma curta caminhada para todas as atrações do bairro Providencia). Atenção e gentileza dos funcionários, ambiente com área comum bem agradável, bairro extremamente charmoso e aparentemente seguro. O café é simples (sanduíche de queijo, ovo, café, leite, suco e fruta) e você tem que marcar hora, visto que o local é pequeno, mas a gentileza dos funcionários se mostra imbatível. Certo dia fizemos um passeio que teríamos que sair às 5:30am e prontamente nos deixaram café e sanduíches preparados.

Como estendemos a viagem, terminei fazendo duas reservas nesse mesmo hotel. Na primeira, ficamos num quarto bem pequeno localizado no subsolo. Dormir durante a noite era difícil com a quantidade de barulho de pessoas transitando logo acima, visto que é o hall de entrada e possui piso de madeira (muito rangido e barulho de trânsito de pessoas). O quarto era bem pequeno até para quem viaja apenas com mala de bordo (o wc mínimo também). Pessoas com pouco mobilidade podem enfrentar problemas. Deixarei para avaliar o segundo período após encerrado (saliento que trocamos de quarto e foi muito melhor)

We had problems with our shower, the water was ice cold or burning hot. The hotel is noisy, our room was below the stairs/reception and we could hear the footsteps above and voices from other rooms.

This time we had a room upstairs, but was not an improvement regarding the noise. We could hear footsteps and voices from the other rooms. Also the shower took a long time to get hot, very difficult to take a shower in this hotel.

I had to take the breakfast with a dog running on my shoes. Not enough soap neither shampoo.

The staff there is really nice and very helpful, almost everyone speaks English. The room is nice, although it is quite small. The beds are ok, there is air conditioner. Around the place there are many nice restaurants, metro station is close by. It was a nice opportunity to use shared kitchen, as well they allowed to leave luggage when arriving early or leaving late in shared places. We could wash our clothes for extra money.

There is no shelter in the shower (so no place to put all the bottles you need), as well it is not that easy to adjust the temperature of the water in shower (cold, very hot, then cold again).

Receptionist was very insecure and insisted to charge for the room immediately, I couldn't pay with card because their machine wasn't working so we had to make online transfer, and they charged me more than the price that was on the booking.com, they had their own exchange rate, they did not respected the one that was given by booking.com app.

Beautiful building, comfortable terrace, breakfast included, helpful staff. My rather small room was saved by having its own balcony. Great location, well connected, buzzy area. Very secure.

No curtain covering glass in door to balcony. No mirror in the room. Keys left at reception mean people have to ring the doorbell at all hours, which echoes through the house. Noisy.

Very pleasant and comfortable. Staff were all helpful; at least two spoke excellent English. The man in charge, Romeo, was especially friendly and gracious. Breakfasts were creative, and there was a fully equipped kitchen for guests to use.

The listing (which I can't check while I write this review) said the room had a patio and a dining area. Both of those were shared public spaces, not part of the room.

Some rooms are in the basement, what makes a likes hot. And theres no air-conditioning.

SCUM actually. Avoid this place. And here is why: / note: the price is USD $100 per night, ok? kinda discounted to $62 1. Unfriendly, tense, and ignoring woman at the reception. Unwelcoming, never smiled, and made us feel like we are bothering her. Looking at a computer screen as if she sees it for the first time in her life. Seems like she doesn't like her job and overall doesn't care. Never even looked at us. That's weird. They don't receive payments via Booking, they don't receive card payments, and they don't have a card terminal! That's sketchy. We are standing at the reception with heavy bags, but she is not offering us to have a sit, no "don't worry", nothing like that. Just ignoring us, staring at the screen. She said she wants to send us the Paypal link BUT SHE CAN'T, so see you tomorrow. 2. The $100 USD room was just dirty. - a tuft of hair in the toilet - the water temperature is unpredictable - no soap - literally, trash bedclothes - an old dirty synthetic blanket with yellow spots, no duvet cover - an old pillow with synthetic filler in lumps; the other one was too hard - no drinking water in the room It was late, we were tired and had no energy to conflict 3. We came for breakfast and took a table in the corner. However, the woman started serving breakfast at a different table. And didn't say a word to us. Just completely ignored us. In the end, she finally told us that we took the wrong table, and she served our breakfast at a different table. The coffee and the food were already cold. No comments. By checking-out, the payment problem wasn't solved AND WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR SOME GUY. We were holding heavy bags, she was having a video call with her kid. No regrets, no care. The guy came, kissed the woman, didn't say a word to us, and disappeared into the office. Maybe back in the day, this place was nice? And then was sold to new owners? I don't know...
