Cheah the host is fantastic - she goes above and beyond to make her guests happy! From doing laundry to giving so many tips on thinks to do, to helping us book ferry tickets - she really cares about her guests!

The room is loud from the street, but Cheah makes this very clear before and after booking so that’s fine. Good to be aware for light sleepers though.

I stayed with my daughter in the twin room. It's a big, comfortable house (note: this is not a hotel) and Cheah is a fabulous host. We had a supply of drinking water and coffees available to prepare. Cheah shared lots of information about local events and attractions; was always responsive and kind. It's really clean, secure and convenient. I would definitely come back to stay for a longer period and highly recommend this very good base for exploring Georgetown as everything was walkable.

It's not a hotel and there is one ensuite room, but this is all you really need unless you're intending to stay indoors all the time and need the luxuries. Cheah was *always* helpful and made our stay in Penang memorable. I'm definitely planning to come back.

The location was great, 5-10 minute walk from the bus station, but also close to the jetties and street art. The victorian house was beautiful with large rooms with AC. The host was great and gave us a lot of information about places to go. Would highly recommend the place.

really lovely place to stay in Georgetown, perfect location, comfortable and clean room with cute decor, air con and mosquito net. Most of all though Cheah the host was so kind, warm and welcoming, upon arrival gave us tips and a map of the city, helped us out with washing, answered our questions on WhatsApp and when my bag broke was so helpful with solutions! thank you Cheah ! Penang is a great city and it was made even better by staying here.

It doesn't look it from the outside, but it's a lovely place to stay. A house with character! Cheah, our host was super helpful and firendly, she gave us lots of advice about what to see and where to eat. Our room and the bathroom were very clean. There is filtered water and tea and coffee for the guestst, you can help yourself whenever you want . Highly recommended!

I looove everything about the stay! Cheah immediately made me feel welcomed upon check in and the room's a lot more spacious than what you see on photos. The en-suite shower is genius and the balcony is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. The location is also central I found myself walking to almost all of the main attractions. Definitely repeating my stay here!

Very cute vintage house, with clean and comfortably facilities.

This guesthouse is probably the best we have ever stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot. I absolutely love it, it is well set up, the rooms are beautiful, airy, high ceilings, spacious with air-conditioning and a fan. The bathrooms are simple, very clean, plenty of space and extra sinks. There is communal areas, tea and coffee provided with a hot water machine and a fridge. There are books to browse. Cheah runs this guesthouse, she is so welcoming and friendly, she will not only make you feel very welcome but she has guided us round this whole area with places to go, things to see, food to try, free buses to catch - ideas and suggestions sent via WhatsApp links. We have used her suggestions to eat out, take buses, go out to places - we have had the best time here and at the end of every day, we have had a lovely guesthouse to come back to. We hope to come again to stay and spend more time. Just to add, this guesthouse is in the perfect location for exploring everywhere in Georgetown, so many delicious food places within a couple of minutes walking distance, also museums etc.

It's a beautiful old house and our room was with balcony, which was really nice to have in the evening. Loved everything about this place. Before booking please do note that it's a house in the middle of George Town so there will be noices from the street and restaurants.
