Absolut gemütliche, außergewöhnliche Unterkunft mit allem, was man benötigt. Hat manches Hotel nicht zu bieten. Super Frühstück.

De locatie was qua ligging super. Binnen de stadspoorten van Elburg. We hadden een goede instructie gekregen over hoe we binnen konden komen. Omdat we niet konden ontbijten bij de locatie werden weg getipt door de eigenaar waar we goed konden ontbijten. Daar hebben we idd heerlijk ontbeten. De eigenaren zijn aardige mensen.

Zij stonden op het moment van boeken bekend als een Bed & breakfast. Maar er zat geen ontbijt bij. Als je lichte slaper bent, is dit misschien niet zo'n goede locatie omdat de eigenaren er boven wonen en er houten vloeren in het huis zijn waardoor je alles hoort. Maar goed, voor één nachtje was het voor ons prima.

De kamer was fantastisch groot met eigen keuken en woonkamer. Super schone ruimte met een gezellige indeling.

De kamer was gehorig, waardoor je een stuk privacy mistte.

Breakfast was served ahead so you could eat at your own time in the morning

The appartment was very nice with a big bedroom, a livingroom and a kitchen with all the necessary equipment to make ones own dinner. The place was very clean. Breakfast was delivered the night before and was delicate and plentyfull. We stayed for two nights and got different meat for breakfast each morning. It was nice to get eggs we had to cook ourselves so they were warm when eaten. The owner was very kind and the environment was very special. It was just inside the walls of the old hansa city. It did not matter that we had to park away from the appartment. Free parking was just outside the city walls. But it was a bit difficult to find. It did not help to use the GPS since we were unable to use the name of the parking place. Maybe the host could provide the address or draw a map to make it easier to orientate.

The toalett was a bit narrow. One should bring easy shoes because the floors were a bit cold to walk barefoot on.

The owners are really friendly and flexible. We had many breakfast options ready in the kitchen, all neatly prepared. It is a very comfortable stay, indeed like a home away from home. Thank you for this fantastic, cute, little apartment!

The walls are a bit thin; I could hear once or twice the guests in the other apartment. However, that is completely dwarfed by all the loveliness we experienced during our stay.

Elburg is one of the most beautiful villages in the Netherlands. The de Kleine Vesting B&B is located in the old part of the village, near the canal and the marina. It was so nice to walk the cobbled streets with nice shops and a lot of food establishments nearby. The marina and its vicinity is also very nice. The B&B is very spacious, very well equipped (all the kitchen utensils, fridge, dish washer etc.) and contains a nice sitting area that is also used for breakfast. Breakfast was huge - fresh pastries, cheese, cereal, fruit, tea or coffee and orange juice. We enjoyed our stay in Elburg very much – the de Kleine Vesting had a major contribution to it.
