Beautiful loft built over rustic barn.
In der schönen John River Gorge, zwischen Blowing Rock und Grandfather Mountain ist GLOBE Valley Ranch ", wo der Bürgersteig endet 'und Ihren Traumurlaub beginnt. Unsere Familie begann unser Traum vom Bau urigen Berghütten mit dem Kauf von 117 Hektar an der Johns River im Jahr 2005. Die Johns River und der Pisgah National Forest grenzt unser Eigentum und bieten einen wunderschönen, ruhigen Lage, um zu jeder Jahreszeit genossen werden!
Wir sind stolz, bieten unsere neue 1000 Quadratmeter ft Loft über die Fachwerkscheune mit 2 Schlafzimmer und ein Bad. Das Loft verfügt über einen Grillplatz und Spielplatz. Wir vermieten auf einer täglichen oder wöchentlichen Basis. Wir laden Sie zu hören und beobachten Sie die reiche Tierwelt auf unserer unberührten Anbaufläche und genießen Sie die totale Entspannung auf dem Deck, das 8 Hektar auf der Johns River gelöscht blickt. Sie können auch eine Wanderung hinunter zu genießen von der Johns River zu "benetzen einen Haken. Unser Urlaubsziel bietet eine breite Palette von Outdoor-Aktivitäten für die Abenteuer-Enthusiasten im Frühling, Sommer, Herbst oder Winter.

Fabulous view. Beautiful house. Property was fantastic for what we were looking for. Fishing right on the property. Very private. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Relaxing
Rented this cabin to be near the Pisgah and do some fishing. This was the perfect location for me. River access on the property was nice. Plenty of wildlife seen on the property also. Would stay again.

The barn had absolutely everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Very well equipped with necessary items and lots of fun stuff for the kids as well. We had a great time down at the river, playing darts in the barn, having fires outside for roasting marshmallows, playing board games, and just sitting on the deck watching the sun set. The location is secluded and pretty off grid. To get almost anywhere you will have a dirt road in your future. We did not mind this at all. Maybe a better sheet of instructions would have been helpful, but we found everything we needed eventually. We will be back!

Fantastic place very peaceful
The barn had absolutely everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Very well equipped with necessary items and lots of fun stuff for the kids as well. The Loft over the Barn provided a delightful base for our exploration of Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Linville Falls, Morganton and Lake James. Morning coffee and evening cocktails were enjoyed on the deck overlooking the meadow and forest. Dinners were enjoyed on the large kitchen island - with only the two of us, the dining room table for 6 was far too big, while the swivel stools at the island enabled us to watch TV sports as we ate. Plenty of utensils, china, pots/pans made cooking dinner easy, which after each day full of exploration, sightseeing, and hiking was most welcome. . . as was the shower with plenty of hot water and great water pressure! Homey touches added to our enjoyment - the tobaggan from LL Bean in the dining room, the interesting ceiling fixtures by each bedroom dresser, the comfy leather recliner. If you have children or grandchildren with you, there are plenty of puzzles and games, a swing set, and other playground equipment. The only challenge was the ten miles of unpaved gravel road for the most direct route to Blowing Rock - however, we discovered it was easily traversed in our sedan, so no problem! Thanks to this VRBO for special memories!

Great base for those, but we ended up doing less of that than we’d planned, because the kids had such a great time playing in the river at the edge of the property. Five stars from all of us.

She belonged to my parents and sister who had already passed so we knew they would want us to take her back to be buried at home. I contacted the Murphy's and they were very understanding when I told them we had to leave. We talked on the phone about a possible refund but no specifics. We just knew we had to go home for burial. I found out the next day that we had been refunded the majority of our charges. I was pleasantly surprised! They were very kind and generous with us. Great folks to work with and we will try it again at a later time!

Beautifully restored barn located off the grid. Our family enjoyed a week off peace in the countryside along with our dog. Location was Private clean and overall just a beautiful place. We will definitely be back again thank you so much.

Beautiful place for a getaway
Beautiful location on the mountains and a great property. Plenty of room to walk the dogs and amazing river access for fishing. It is definitely worth the price and the owner was very nice and accommodating.

Truly Wonderful
Our third trip to Globe Valley Ranch and this is such a fantastic place to stay!! This time we celebrated our son's 5th birthday with family and grandparents here and everyone LOVED it. A beautiful weekend with a beautiful view!! Can't wait to go back :)

Great mountain getaway!
We booked a last minute trip to NC to take our daughter to see snow. This property was absolutely exactly what we wanted...in the mountains, away from people with great outdoor opportunities. We got snow the first day. The next day it was melted, but it gave us more time to spend down by the river. The barn had everything we needed, but make sure you bring all your food and drinks because it is not a quick trip to the store. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are seriously considering coming back in warmer weather. Thank you!!

Wonderful place in the Johns river valley.
Secure and secluded yet not too far from nearby activities (if you ever want to leave the property). Great river access on property. Clean comfortable loft above barn. We had a great time and will definitely be back in the future.

My friends had some trouble with the password and we ultimately had no internet but all else was great. I loved the property.

Very nice place and away from everything like we expected.
was clean when arrived had everything we needed. The place was great with a river not to far where you could fish or dip in. Didnt have signal but had wifi which was great overall i would go back to the same place when we decide to ho visit again.

Perfect Place!
Me and my family had a blast here. We loved the secluded location. Loft is stocked with all necessities. Very clean! Kids and the dog enjoyed the river. We caught fish each day. Saw deer and turkeys around the barn also. Can’t wait to go back in a couple months.

Wonderful place in the middle of nature
Beautiful loft on top of a barn bordering Pisgah National Forrest. Acres of space for hikes, games or jogging. River is close by with swimming holes and fishing. Short drive to Blowing Rock and Boone. Host was always extremely receptive.

This is our second time at this property and we love it! Fishing is fun for teenagers and environment is very relaxing. Cabin met our needs fully.

Beautiful place!
My family and I really enjoyed our time at the Ranch! Our dogs enjoyed running around and our 4 year old loved the playground and the adventures at the river! We will definitely stay here again!
