This is a beautiful and welcoming accomodation. It is spacious and clean and has an amazing panoramic view of the town. It is on the route of the Menalon Trail so very easy to find. Roula is the perfect host and provided a generous breakfast to start the day. I loved waking to the sounds of church bells and the dogs rounding up their herds of goats or sheep for milking. This was the least expensive accommodation on the Menalon trail, but was as good as the other options. It was a lovely place to recover from our exploits.

We stayed for two nights in Vitina as we planned to do the Menalon Trail. The guesthouse is right on the trail. Parking was a little tricky to find but there was enough space. If you are driving around this area of Greece you are probably familiar with the steep gravel roads—we had to navigate a few of these. The accomodation is simple and affordable and there is a lovely view of the town of Vitina from the balcony. The continental breakfast is more than enough for two people! The homemade lukumades were great. Vola was very welcoming and accomodating, and we also express our extreme gratitude for her going out of her way during our stay. We had an unfortunate incident after a hailstorm where our rental car got damaged after driving over fallen rocks, and Vola and her mother drove to us (20 minutes out of Vitina), making sure we were OK, and waited with us for over an hour for the tow truck. They made no fuss and although we’re sure their time was valuable, they did not seem inconvenienced at all. Vola even helped us find a taxi driver willing to drive us all the way back to Athens since we weren’t able to get a rental car anywhere nearby. Definitely an experience we won’t forget. If you are staying in Guesthouse Panorama don’t hesitate to ask Vola or her mum for what you need, we are so sure they will be as caring and accomodating for every guest just as they did for us.

Actually on the Menalon Trail. Great view of the mountains and village from balcony. Spacious well equipped room with fridge but no aircon as is usual in Greek villages. Excellent breakfast delivered to your door. Vytina is a lively village with several bars, restaurants and tavernas.

Maybe the best view over Vytina. The staff was very fiendly and helpfull. The room is spacious and the fireplace adds a nice touch. Everything was clean and tidy. And finally I really enjoyed having breakfast in the yard overlooking Vytina. I highly reccomend it.

The location is wonderful. Very close to the center of the village. The view from the balcony was also amazing. The breakfast was huge and brought to our room every morning. The landlady was very nice.

Not much to comment on really. An overall pleasant experience.
