Hotel is under construction. Each area is filled with workmen using drills , power tools and ladders. The pool was inaccessible and the restaurant food was poor. Even though the hotel was virtually empty I had to wait until the 3 pm check in before getting to a room. Instead I waited outside the closed pool with the harmony of circular saws to keep me company. The registration staff said that their website stated it was under construction. It doesn’t state that when booking through either Expedia or Hotels.com. No ice in room - no glasses at all for water. I definitely would not recommend this hotel at this stage of reconstruction.

Tarjeta que diga no molestar. Nos tocó época de mantenimiento con ruido y polvo entendemos que es para mejorarlo. Que el estacionamiento de fuera sea para el hotel . El precio del bufete precio muy alto me parece.

Location wasn’t great. The wifi didn’t work in the rooms, not well in the lobby. Mobile data was spotty. Breakfast wasn’t great. Reception impossible to contact via the room. The lobby was in renovations so it was impossible to even use wifi in the lobby to use internet.

Breakfast was fine, with a variety of fruits.

The room was small, there was no closet. Cleaning was not done daily. The view was not pleasing. There was no microwave nor refrigerator. The price quoted was different to what I had to pay on arrival. It was more that $1000 . I was disappointed.

Convenient to cruise ship port, Walmart, and Galerias Mall. Staff is nice and helpful

The person named Alfredo who works in the reception was the worst part of our stay. He didn’t provide us with the basic information such as check in , check out time, what the hotel had to offer such as breakfast, pool, gym etc. I suffer from anxiety and I got stuck in the elevator because I was never told I needed the room card to gain access to it. Nor did he mentioned the floor where my room was. Everything about him was terrible. One of the things that got me even more upset was that the room where we stayed was not cleaned before we arrived. The beds were dusty the floor was filled with glitter and so was the chair, the worst part was the awful smell from the shower curtain, where it was not changed. Also i did call to request clean shower curtain and clean bedding sets and I had to do it myself which I didn’t mind but I had to call several times. The other thing I also called 4 times for the staff to clean my room and they didn’t, after the 4th time the maintenance manager went to due my room. He was excellent the best part of our stay.

The person in the reception named Alfredo was the worst part of our stay.

Good location and value for money in general

Poor service. It seems City Express has changed the breakfast options. Even if you take an “a la carte” paid option is really poor. They don’t have plain filtered water, they run out of coffee cups.. nobody in the kitchen is taking care of things like that… The food taste is very bad.. go for breakfast somewhere else…!

I liked that they had a pool in the bar and i liked how well the cleaning ladies cleaned.

On night one my wife fell in the pool. This is not the hotel's fault. However a few days later they charged us 2070 pesos for a unpaid bill at the pool bar. They could not present me with the actual charges so from my memory it would be: 8 tequila shots 1 hamburger 2 beers 1 pina colada. This seems a bit pricy and i didnt like that i didnt get to see the charges. But fine okay. Then at day of checkout they ask again for 1000 pesos. Of which 500 would be the towell my wife bled on the first night (30 usd for towell seems pricy but ok) and 500 again totally unexplainable they just had us pay it and couldnt tell us what it was for. (Cant be food or drinks related bc after day one i settled all transactions with the hotel in cash instantly) One time i ordered room service. I paid cash. Guy didnt come back with change.

The shower was great. The body lotion was very good.

No coffee maker in room. Not even a glass in the bathroom . No restaurant.The elevator had a pic of restaurant from noon to 10 pm....doesn't exist!!!!!!!

it was in a Verg good location close to to many shops and easy to find

we found a cucaracha in my bed and they supposed to clean they just fix the bed and don’t clean the floors and anything else
