Dieses entzückende Ferienhaus ist nur einen Block vom Herzen der Innenstadt von Fredericksburg entfernt. Typisch für Häuser, die in den frühen 1900er Jahren gebaut wurden, gibt es beim Betreten des Hauses zwei Türen. Die lange Veranda ist auch typisch für diese Epoche und heute ist sie mit großen Rockern besprüht, auf denen sich die Gäste entspannen und die vorbeiziehenden Menschen genießen können.
Im Inneren befindet sich ein gemütliches, aber elegantes Wohnzimmer mit einem Sofa (Queen Sleeper) und einem bequemen Stuhl, um das Kabelfernsehen zu genießen. Rote Akzente zusammen mit den blassgelben Wänden und Holzböden machen diesen Raum entspannend und einladend. Die Küche ist klein, hat aber alles was man für Ihren Aufenthalt braucht. Es gibt einen großen Kühlschrank, Herd / Backofen, Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine.
Die beiden Schlafzimmer im Haus bieten einen König und eine Königin. Das Kingsize-Bett verfügt über ein eisernes Kopfteil. Gewölbedecken mit altem Zinnüberdachung an der Decke tragen zu einem ansprechenden rustikalen Dekor bei. Ein antikes Kopfteil und Trittbrett sind auf dem Queen-Size-Bett im vorderen Schlafzimmer zu finden. Beide Schlafzimmer liegen günstig in der Nähe des Badezimmers, das über eine große geflieste Dusche verfügt.
Gerade außerhalb der Hintertür ist ein kleines Deck, das zum Whirlpool führt, der für Ihren Genuss und Privatsphäre platziert wird. Es gibt auch einen Sitzbereich im Hof rund um die alte Zisterne, in dem Sie die erfrischenden Fredericksburg-Vormittage und -abende genießen können.

It was a perfect location, and such a cute house!! We drank coffee on the front porch, watched people walk by. Such a nice place. Will stay again!!

This house is so cute and has everything you need. I do wish the back yard or at least hot tub area had privacy fence. Also, the beds are cute and go with the old-fashioned theme but very wobbly. Other than that, everything was great. The house was very clean and had coffee available for the morning. It's peaceful and one block from Main, which was awesome.

I loved this place! It was in the perfect location! It is a short walking distance from everything you would want to do in Fredericksburg!
The only thing is, I wish the hot tub had some privacy.

Very nice and comfortable home that is very clean and well kept. Only a block off Main Street made it very accessible to all Fredericksburg has to offer. Would not hesitate to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and quaint place to stay.

My wife and I are OCTOGENARIANS, so we really enjoyed the aged, creeky wooden floors.
My wife's a German lady who loves to do quilting…We discussed the hanging quilt.
I'm a DIY type so I imagined the projects that I could do as I inspected the Cottage. The old locks; the doors that didn't close quite right; the antique lamps…Everything was PERFECT!

Really good vibe! Super location, comfy beds, very cozy, has everything you need. Only reason we did not give it a 5 is the hot tub is extremely out dated and does not heat to desired temperature.

Please leave more towels for the hot tub. The house is cute, but small. I'm not a girlie girl so I'm not into flowers but there are plenty of people that would love this house. (PS the can opener is broken :).

This was a perfect location and accommodation for our 3-day, 2 night sister trip. We walked everywhere we went, close to food, shopping, wineries, etc. The house was quaint, but we loved it.

Barbi & Kieth's Kottage was a great place to stay for two good friends visiting Fredericksburg.
Everything was very clean and neat and quaint. We loved it and will definitely stay there again!!

Loved the cottage, but was concerned by the fact that there is only one exit in case of an emergency. For safety purposes one of the front doors should be able to be opened. That would also make it nice for accessing the front porch. Also, an upgrade to a Keurig would be nice. The coffee was not very good.

I have stayed there twice and it is super comfortable and clean and the location is absolutely perfect. This time was on business by myself but hopefully I can bring my wife back to stay at this place.

My adult daughter and I needed a fun getaway for a long weekend and this adorable little house was the perfect choice. The beds were comfy. The decor was cute as a button. The location was perfect. We will definitely consider this little gem first on our next visit.

This quaint cottage has the best of Fredericksburg right outside the front porch. All the Main Street attractions are walking distance. The cottage is charmingly old-fashioned (but with a nicely modern bathroom). Grab a bottle of wine down on Main, then come back and enjoy the front porch rocking chairs or the back deck hot tub! Be sure to pack walking shoes, your swimsuit, and ear plugs--on Sunday morning all the church bells nearby do not care how much fun you had last night!

The only negative was the sofa bed - it was terribly uncomfortable. They really need to replace that sofa as its very worn and the mattress is awful. Otherwise it was nice. Great location.

This was our third stay in this charming cottage. It needs new good hangers. A lot of the time the front room TV stopped working. Please get a better cable pkg. (I had twisted my knee and found myself not being able to get out very much so I was watching TV.) Both porch lights are not bright enough- the fixtures are dirty. With the heater on the bed rooms got very warm while the living room stayed chilly. The living room furniture is looking quite tired.

My friends and I had a great time in Fredericksburg. We enjoyed the location of this cottage as it was very convenient to Main Street. I met Barbie on check in day and she was very friendly/ nice. The cottage had cute, festive Halloween decorations that we enjoyed.
There were 4 of us and it was a little challenging with only 1 bathroom, but we made it work. Overall, a great weekend and this cottage/ location was very peaceful.

Beautiful cottag with hot tub. Everything was ready and clean. Plenty of towels, dishes, and extras. Plenty of room for 4 or more adults. Just 1 block off of main street yet very quiet and private parking. Easy check in and out. We could not be more pleased with our stay.

Cottage was very cute and well kept. Proximity to Main Street was a plus. We enjoyed our stay and it was a comfortable place to lay our heads after an evening of looking at Christmas lights.

The cottage was so charming, comfortable, and perfect for our family holiday weekend to get away and enjoy all things Fredericksburg. We hiked Enchanted Rock, went to the Pacific War Museum, Pioneer Museum & Library, watched the July 4th parade, shopped, and ate at so many yummy restaurants. Barbi & Keith's Kottage was the perfect home base located near Main Street, but far enough away for peace & quiet in the evenings. Only thing missing (the mom in me), was a washer/dryer, but that was a minor inconvenience.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location. Would have appreciated an extra roll of paper towels. Could not shut the door between front bdrm and living room. Needs to be trimmed..Great shower. Enjoyed the table and chairs out back.

We had 5 women that stayed for 2 nights. The house was at a perfect location one block off of Main St. We loved having the hot tub. In the evenings after all the shops were closed we would go back to the house and enjoy the hot tub with a glass of wine. The only negative was they didn't supply us with enough toilet paper. There was only three rolls for five women for three days and two nights.
