The tides is an older hotel, but well kept. It's good to know they are putting those initial fees they charge to good use. It's $75 dollars for the "resort fee" then 20 dollars cash for the parking. they provide you a badge you put on your car and that you return at the end to get your money back. What they don't tell you is that they are open only office hours, so if you have a flight in the morning, and you don't give the parking pass back the business day before, you forfeit your money. As for the room, it was very minimalistic. You could tell the room had been lightly cleaned before our arrival but somethings didn't need to be cleaned but replaced. The middle rug in the living room was very worn and stained throughout. The TV remotes were falling apart and the batteries were dead. The placement of the TV in the corner of a room, and very low to the ground in the living room was poor. The biggest problem was the door knobs. The knob to the master bedroom was broken, and we were lucky to get it open. When a handy man came by, he added a few screws and "showed us" that the door had a kink. The master closet door knob consistently fell off when we open the door. Long story short, fix the knobs or get rid of the doors because they are a hazard. There was no small wash clothes provided, only a few towels. To point out something positive, they did provide us beach towels and an umbrella. no oven mitts, no watered down soap, broken hair straightner

We really enjoyed our stay at The Tides. Communication and check-on was easy. We felt safe and enjoyed the pool areas very much. Very close to the Hollywood boardwalk where there is lots to do!

It is one of the cleanest units in the Tides we have stayed in, however there were a few exceptions. Living rug was very dirty, bathroom vanity was peeling and microwave was also peeling. That is why i did not give it 5 stars! Communication with owner was excellent.

We had a wonderful time. The layout of the condo is perfect. The view from the balcony is nice ocean view. 2 nice big couches and all the appliances you need in the kitchen to prepare your meals. The bedroom has a nice big walk in closet with hangers however the bed on the left could use a new mattress it’s nice and soft but sinks in the middle the other mattress is more firm. When you walk out of the building to go the pool you definitely feel like you’re in a resort. The grounds are well maintained and the size of the pool is great also there is a bathroom at the pool which is very convenient. The beach is wonderful however lots of seaweed and the time we were there first 2 weeks of Feb lots of baby jelly fish (but that’s nature) no matter where you stay nothing to do with the condo. I would definitely go back as I loved that condo. Very clean and modern. The only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 star rating is that the window in the bedroom needs to be changed asap as you can hear the strong wind all night long so if you’re a light sleeper make sure that window is changed before you go. Ironing board was broken and we were immediately sent a new one. Would highly recommend this owner. The Tides hallways and common areas were always kept clean. Four elevators on each floor and we were told they were only a few years old.

Great Spacious Relaxing Condo, ample kitchen supplies, comfy beds, clean - the unit is great ! Property manager and her team are willing to please, communicate effectively and promptly - the building is clean, the property is pretty, plenty of parking, the only negatives were the check in process (a hassle indeed) and needing a FOB everywhere, we didn’t use the beach there, too narrow, we drove and spent our sunny days in the central Hollywood Beach area for more spacious beach and to access restaurants and cocktails

I would give 5 stars to our condo owners but only 3 to The Tides. Nice condo with nice owners who were very responsive to any needs. Nice view of the ocean. Walls, baseboards, and vents in the room could use some cleaning but nothing concerning. Stocked beach items which was nice. Noticed the umbrella was ripped when we got there, they immediately replaced it even though we just made them aware so we didn’t get charged for it. We informed them the key entry died and they immediately came and replaced the batteries. The owners were very responsive to any needs we had (which wasn’t a lot due to having everything we needed supplied in the room). The Tides has weird rules. You are only permitted to use the service elevator if you are carrying anything (beach stuff, luggage, groceries, etc) there was always a line and we took the stairs down to the beach each day to avoid waiting - the 3 other elevators never had any wait. They should really open up another elevator to be used with these items. The gym equipment couldn’t be cleaned as there’s no disinfectant which was odd as they have a mask mandate but don’t have anything to clean the sweaty equipment. There were paper towels marked as “disinfectant wipes” but were dried out. You have to get a new key fob daily to use the gym (with photo ID) as the one you paid for doesn’t work for the gym door. No where else has a mask mandate around the area which was odd but we followed it nonetheless. You can be fined $100 for no mask or using the elevators while carrying items. Check in is bizarre but the directions were given to us prior by the condo owners, so we just followed those and were fine. Paid extra fees ($50 to park, $20 for key fob, and $20 refundable for parking pass). The office is only open 9-4 I believe and we left the last day at 4am to catch our flight so we had to return the parking pass the day before. The $50 parking fee is paid to valet but they don’t actually park your car. They have a few carts you can use to bring groceries in but you have to sign them out with an ID and you’re only permitted 1, I did talk them into letting us use 2. I’m not sure if The Tides typically has a lot of riff raff or why they have such odd rules as we’ve never stayed somewhere before with strict rules like this. Overall it was a nice trip and the room was exactly as expected and worked for our needs.

Marisa and her daughter were very kind and even allowed an early check in. The apartment was clean and there was a beautiful view of the ocean. Transportation was easy to get and affordable. We ordered paper towels and TP from Walmart. So we were set for the week. The beach was wonderful and clean too. We would definitely recommend it to friends. I also recommend ordering sushi from Sushi Zen. It was amazing!

Loved the property and location right off of the beach. Nice ocean balcony view! Very calming and relaxing! Wish I could have stayed longer. Very nice area and convenient to where we wanted to go in Miami. Best host experience ever!

We had a great stay. The apartment is is well furnished, clean, and looks just like the pictures. Cooking utensils, bedding, and towels were more than adequate. The view of the ocean from the balcony is expansive. Communication was timely, and clear. All in all it was just a perfect stay!

Condo was very clean and perfect size for two people. Liked the door locking system so we did not to have to carry condo keys around. The Tides sits right on the beach so easy access through pool area. The Hollywood Broadwalk was a little farther away than we would have preferred, but worked nicely for our exercise walks. We were only 5 minutes away by car to Gulfstream Park and Casino and 15 minutes to the Hard Rock Casino.

Simply said that the location is amazing, direct beach access, easy parking and plenty of restaurant options close by. The view from the apartment was great.

We had a wonderful long weekend. Communication with the property owner was great the days before and during our stay. The condo was very clean, the beds we very comfortable, and the balcony had a view of the ocean. Being a couple of steps away from the beach was our main priority. We loved a leisurely walk on the sand to the nearby boardwalk. We also spent time at one of the two beautiful pools. It too was very clean. We were always able to find a pool chair and still physically distance from others. We felt very safe - and very happy.

We had a wonderful stay. The unit is clean and spacious. Great amenities. Pool and beach are clean and well taken care of. Marisa is super nice. Great communication. Would definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Our stay was wonderful! The resort property was nice. The unit was very clean! I am very particular and it met my standards. We were very pleased to see that. The beds and linens provided were comfortable. The unit literally had everything you would need for your stay except for food lol. They had beach chairs & towels, cribs & strollers, and ice machine in the freezer and basically anything else you could think of. The ocean view from the balcony was amazing especially that we stayed over covid and did not want to go out at night. It was very easy to access the beach. The property manager was so great! They helped us with anything we needed and were always able to be reached and super communicative. We would definitely stay there again!

I couldn't ask for more! The ocean was right in front of me when I woke up. The apartment needs little TLC and the check in process might be a bummer, but past that we really enjoyed our time there.

Everything was just as listed and pictured. Place was perfect for our family of 5. We found everything we needed, and Ines was very easy to get ahold of and very helpful as well.
