Excellent location with Paddington a short walk away. Staff very friendly and efficient. Room was good value for money with a modern bathroom.

Some decor was tired, but the room and hotel were clean and still offered excellent value.

Non communicative Reception Staff, very basic breakfast, one thick bed pillow (bad for neck), rather than two slim to medium pillows! Very small room for price.

Location, Paddington Station is just a two minute walk away. Our room was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was good, decent selection to choose from. Rooms cleaned daily. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very noisy outside & snoring could be heard all night. Breakfast was very cheap & basic. Fake croissants. Very disappointing. Rooms were very dated & in desperate need of modernisation.

The fact that even though I complained to the reception that the hot water was not working in the shower, they justified it and didn't fix the problem.

I would have preferred that the bed spread did not serve as a duvet cover.

Breakfast was good, room was clean, easy to get to from the subway.

The desk clerk could have been friendlier. The bathroom had a dirty towel hanging in the shower but worse was the toilet wouldn’t flush. After flying abroad from America, an early checkin would have been nice.

Really noise. There is no acoustic treatment on the hotel. During my stay there were noise guest and the management did not act.

Location was excellent and the breakfast was satisfying - could have done with some pickles and tomatoes. The room was small, but worked for me - it was clean and comfortable and I had a decent night's sleep after an exciting day. Very close to tube station, so ideal for getting around.

The wi-fi didn't work, but the TV did and I had a good book, so wasn't lacking in entertainment before going to sleep.

The Hotel was located on a busy road at a crossroads with traffic lights. Good transport links, close the Kensington Park, & local restaurants. The room was reasonably sized & had good amenities. The food provided for the breakfast was generally good.

The road outside was noisy all night, suggest secondary glazing on the widows to reduce noise. No plug in the sink & multiple donors of hair in bath/shower drain. The lift was not working on our floor (3rd ). Whilst the food provided for breakfast was generally good, there was not enough choice, no fruit or bread. I am dairy intolerant which I declared on my booking form & received an email telling me they could accommodate, however there was no soya milk so I could not have the cereals, hot drinks, croissants, cheese, yogurts, etc provided.

Hotel WiFi didn't work even at the lounge! No mobile reception at the room in the basement combined with hotel wifi not working means no internet and no way to work if you are there for business

only it’s location was good

The very small room was less than standard and certainly not a “Superior” room which we had booked…with bedding sheets that did not fit so I was left sleeping on top of the mattress cover not very nice.. faulty toilet that wouldn’t flush properly. Lift out of order … so 48 steps to climb each time with bags at start and finish.! I am 75 years of age reasonably fit but this was very disappointing. Also the breakfast was very basic and un appetising.
