Conveniently located at the South Bay, lovely house, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and great shower, lovely little welcome basket too. Friendly hosts. Everything we could want. Really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again. Thank you

Ashburton house is in a good walkable area for beach ,town and all attractions. Good breakfasts..plentiful and freshly made . And accommodation one of the best quirky hotels you'll find in Scarborough.

The whole place was lovely, the hosts very friendly and lovely people. Food was very nice, had plenty of options. We would recommend to anyone. We're definitely going again in few week. We think we have found one of the best places to stay in the area.

The property is well looked after, appears to be newly decorated and very clean. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast is very tasty.

Only slight thing was that there wasn’t enough water pressure in the shower.

I liked the fact that it felt personal and every detail was accounted for. This makes it feel like a home away from home.

The only thing that wasn't comfortable was the bed but that's only because of travelling for 2 weeks and sleeping in different accommodations and the Ashburton's bed was very soft.

Ashburton House was superb. The rooms were excellent, everything was extremely well presented and Stephen and Margaret were exceptional hosts. The breakfasts were super and we would have no hesitation staying here again, especially rooms 5 and 7 at the top of the house.

beautifully decorated, Friendly and warm hosts without being too overbearing like some hosts can be . Our room was well equipped with everything and more you could need and the decor was amazing. The room was spotless as was the hall and dining room. we paid extra for breakfast which was the best breakfast we have had it really was perfect.

Modern B&B, staff was lovely. I only had a short stay but it they were fab. Had a booklet in the room telling me what was nearby which was of good use.

Excellent hotel -- friendly helpful efficient staff, beautifully decorated room, super ensuite and one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in!
