Balboa Escape befindet sich in der Mitte der Halbinsel und einen halben Block vom Strand oder der Bucht entfernt. Es ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Balboa-Fähre, dem Catalina Flyer und vielen großartigen Restaurants entfernt. Der nächste Fahrradverleih ist nur 2 Blocks entfernt. Diese Wohnung wurde gerade mit neuen voll ausgestatteten Küche, Schränke, Granit, Geräte, Fenster, Klimaanlage und Boden aktualisiert. Strandtücher werden gestellt. Es ist hell und luftig mit vielen Fenstern. Dies ist eine Wohnung im 2. Stock und die größte in diesem 4-Familienhaus. Es hat ein bequemes Queen-Size-Kapitänsbett im Schlafzimmer mit Stauraum darunter und eine Kommode und einen Schrank. Das Wohnzimmer hat eine ausziehbare Königin Schlafsofa und es gibt eine Truhe für die Lagerung und Kleiderschrank im Wohnzimmer. Neues Smart-TV mit Kabelanschluss und kostenlosem WLAN. Es gibt einen Garagenstellplatz für ein Kleinwagen. Es gibt Liegestühle und Boogie Boards in der Garage. Die Münzwäscherei befindet sich in der Garage. Es gibt eine gemeinsame Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen und einen Weber-Gasgrill. Dies ist der perfekte Ort für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt am Strand. Aufgrund von Allergien sind in der Unterkunft keine Tiere gestattet. Eine Treppe muss erklommen werden, um zu dieser Wohnung zu gelangen.

This place is great. Can’t beat the location, just 2 short blocks to the beach boardwalk. There is so much natural light and really cute California decor. The place is really comfy, great bed and couches. And the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to do some good cooking. Definitely note that the garage is for a small car only…I had a crossover and couldn’t fit. Street parking is easy enough to come by during the week but was difficult on the weekend. That is the only draw back but is the case for most places in this area. Will stay again!

Very nice upstairs unit, super clean, well-stocked, great kitchen, and friendly & attentive hosts. The location is about a mile south of the Baloba pier and is steps away from both the ocean and the harbor. Second story unit had beautiful lighting and views of the harbor. Would stay here again!

The location is awesome - walking distance to the beach and other Balboa spots, including restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment was fully equipped with anything one would need during a holiday visit. The stairs are a bit steep, but other than that, it's perfect.

This place was nice and tidy. The steps up are a bit steep, but it wasn’t bad for us in our 30s. You definitely need to have a tiny car to be able to park in the garage, parking in the nearby neighborhood was way to find every night, for us. Communication with the host was timely as well :)

Place is really cute, well maintained and property managers were very nice and responsive. The location is fantastic as its close to everything. The only things to really note is the garage is very small which isn't the end of the world because we just kept our rental bikes in there and parked car on street and the bathroom is really small. Would absolutely stay here again though.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in this Newport rental unit. The place was clean and nicely updated. The location is so convenient and within easy walking distance from the Newport Pier on the ocean side and the Balboa Fun Zone on the bay side. The bathroom is on the smaller side but not a big deal and the garage is very small as stated, but we had no problem finding parking on the street. Thanks for sharing your home with us, Dennis and Janet.

Clean and well organized property management. The one issue we had was there are very bright lights on that shine into the bedroom window at night. A proper set of drapes should be installed to block this glaring light at night.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit is conveniently located to Newport Beach. Parking is fairly easy. The bed is comfortable and there are lots of linens and towels. The kitchen is well-equipped (appreciated the starter pack of coffee/creamer). We made good use of the beach chairs & towels. The only minor complaint would be regarding the sleeper sofa; it’s quite uncomfortable and rickety. I’d say the unit is better for 2 people. Overall a great little place!

A very nice, clean place a block from the beach and about 3/4 mile from restaurants. The updated kitchen is pretty well stocked with dishes, pans, appliances, and utensils, and the A/C came in handy when it was hot.
Best suited for a couple, the queen bed in the bedroom was fine, but the sleeper sofa wasn't great - it might work for small kids.
As the owner's describe in their listing, the garage is really small. It would work great for bike storage, but unless you have something like a Fiat or a small Mini you're better off finding a spot on the street. We found spots within a block of the apartment later in the day.
Located on Balboa Blvd., there is a fair amount of street noise, but traffic died down between 10p and 6a.
The bedroom could use some curtains to block out flood lights from the adjacent apartment.
We had a problem with a loose cold water faucet knob in the shower that spun and wouldn't open. We called the owner and left a message. Fortunately, I was able to fix it temporarily myself fairly quickly by borrowing a screwdriver from some contractors working in another unit.

Perfect Getaway
Just what we needed. Came to Newport for a getaway with my daughter. The house was great. Bed especially comfortable. Heater worked well which we really needed since we hit a cold spell.

This apartment was just what we wanted for the two of us to stay near Balboa’s beachfront and access the paved walkway. Good value. New kitchen. Clean and fun Balboa beach decor.

You need to fix the hand railing on the stairs going to the front door. Extremely dangerous!
You should mention that the steps are very steep, and short and safety could be an issue for anyone since there is not a handle on both sides going to the top landing.

She also helped us to understand the way VRBO operates because this was our first experience with this type of rental. We had friends visit from nearby cities and they were so impressed with the apartment, they have already begun to recommend this property to friends. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future stays in Newport Beach! Hopefully, we'll get to meet Janet and Dennis in person.

The location is awesome, with a two minute walk to the beach! The owner, Janet, was very responsive and answered our questions right away. She kindly ordered us new pillows when we told her the ones in the apartment were too soft for us. She also helped us to understand the way VRBO operates because this was our first experience with this type of rental. We had friends visit from nearby cities and they were so impressed with the apartment, they have already begun to recommend this property to friends. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future stays in Newport Beach! Hopefully, we'll get to meet Janet and Dennis in person.
