White River - Crooked Creek Log House
Bringen Sie die ganze Familie zu diesem benutzerdefinierten Blockhaus auf einem 14 Hektar großen Stück Himmel in den Ozark Mountains auf Arkansas 'berühmtem Bach „Crooked Creek“. Gerade (2) biegt er vom Zusammenfluss des White River ab. Fischen, Schwimmen, Kajakfahren, Schnorcheln auf unserer 684-Zoll-Uferpromenade. Die Kinder und die ganze Familie werden viel Spaß haben. Der Wasserstand am Bach schwankt ständig und hängt ausschließlich von den Niederschlägen ab, die stromaufwärts anfallen. Oft habe ich mein 20-Zoll-Topwater-Boot unter dem Haus angedockt (Quelle). Andere haben wir von der unteren Zufahrt des HWY 101 zurück zum Haus gefahren (Spätfrühling, Sommer). Und manchmal schwimmen und schnorcheln wir einfach nur in den natürlichen Quellen, die den Bach und den Watfisch füttern. Die Zufahrt zum Ranchette White River ist ungefähr (4) Meilen die Straße hinunter. Bringen Sie also Ihr Boot mit, wenn Sie Forellen angeln möchten, oder wir können Sie mit einem der vielen Führer in der Gegend in Verbindung setzen, die Sie direkt in der Nähe abholen die Rampe nach dem Biss. Hausunterkünfte geben 10 an, und das nutzt den Log-Futon. Es gibt auch (2) Kinderbetten und Schlafsäcke im Keller. Das Haus ist ca. 4000 qm groß mit (3) Ebenen. Whirlpool im Master-Bad, (6) Person Whirlpool auf der unteren Ebene. Dieses Blockhaus befindet sich am Ende der Straße und ist hinter einem verschlossenen Tor sehr abgelegen. The home was amazing and was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It had the best beds and pillows of any rental that we have ever stayed at. Everyone was able to catch fish in the creek. I would recommend this place to any group.
From breakfast for 10 to steaks on the grill to s'mores at night this place had us covered.

What a great getaway family gathering! All 9 of us enjoyed both the “cabin” and the surroundings. We were all comfortable in the great room, as well as our bedrooms. Plenty of room for everyone to gather or have some alone time indoors or out.
The kitchen is more than well stocked with every cooking utensil you could ask for as well as dishes & glasses.
There is a crazy amount of firewood for both the great room fireplace and the fire pit outside.
There is a beautiful view of the creek from the main deck and there is a hot tub on the lower deck off the play room.
This is the cleanest rental I have ever experienced. I wish I could borrow their housekeeper!
To add to our experience, the host was so very accommodating. He even checked in on us several times to be sure we didn’t need anything.
If there were more stars, I would rate this a 10.

We love the cabin. Was plenty of room for our family. The pool table was awesome along with the hot tub and fireplace. Cabin was very clean.

Very comfortable real log house that is well designed, well maintained and well stocked. Beautiful rural setting in the woods on Crooked Creek. Hot tub is a plus. Our stay was in cool weather, and we enjoyed the wood stove/fireplace. Owner was easy to communicate with.

The cabin was great. Plenty of room for a big group with multiple thermostats which is nice. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils and cookware to do anything. Crooked Creek is an easy walk down the hill and there are definitely fish in there. There is also a White River boat ramp very close to the cabin, so no need to drive all the way around town to find a put-in. I highly recommend staying at this cabin.

We had eight fisherman stay at the property. It was secluded and very comfortable. Great space inside the house and outside on the deck. Owner was very helpful in providing guidance on fishing areas. Would stay there again!

We absolutely loved the Crooked Creek Cabin. The host was very accommodating and responsive to questions/recommendations. The home was clean and had great amenities. The kids especially liked the pool table and checkers. The property is beautiful and close to multiple river access points for fishing. This was a very special trip for our family and we hope to come back soon!

Beautiful cabin even better than the pictures. Everything you will need is provided. Very secluded location. Great for family get together. Easy check in and out process. We had no problems during our stay. Highly recommended.

From the start of our trip planning, Jonathan the host was fantastic. He answered all our questions promptly and respectfully. The check in process and all provisions were top notch. The cabin is very private and remote- just what we were looking for. We loved the pool table, hot tub, and creek access. Kitchen was fully furnished as well as linens, towels and paper products.
We accidentally left a couple items behind and he even contacted us quickly and helped reunite us with the things.
We highly recommend this cabin for a get away. Thanks, Jonathan, for a wonderful stay.

Our family of 8 stayed for three nights in early August. This is a super nice property located on Crooked Creek. There are three floors and we had three family groups which worked perfectly.
The check in is combination gate and door and almost everything you would ever need is supplied with the exception of perishable food.
It is located on a remote County road the last 2.2 miles being gravel. About 20 minutes to the nearest Wal-Mart for groceries and gas in Flippin.
The creek is accessible down a steep bank which does require some dexterity. But smallmouth bass and perch are found in the many pools of water in the creek.
The appliances are modern and there is a great Starlink Wi-Fi system in the house which kept a strong signal. There is only one or zero bars of cell service though.
We used Walkie-talkies from the house to the kids playing in the Creek which worked great.
There is a covered garage for two cars which came in handy with the rain.
Maybe the best thing is the prompt communication with the property manager who was quick to answer and make sure you are satisfied with every aspect of the Log House and answer any questions about fishing , swimming or nearby restaurants, etc.
Everyone in our family said they would quickly return to the Log House again for a future trip. Though remotely located, it was perfect in supplying all our modern communication and electronic needs and the rooms were laid out great for an excellent family gathering.

The Crooked Creek Cabin was just as depicted in the VRBO listing. Everything was top notch and the cabin was decorated beautifully and furnished very comfortably. Plenty of space for our group of grandparents, parent, and 2 teens. We all really appreciated the pool table. The creek was a little low due to extreme heat and lack of rain but we still enjoyed some good fishing. The property is nice and isolated from neighbors and wonderfully wooded. Close to Buffalo River and White River for some good day trips. Great place to get away from it all. Would love to come back again and especially in Fall or Winter.

Host was great. He checked in early on to make sure we had everything we needed. Everyone in the party had a blast. Loved the fire pit and access to the river. All the guys in our group caught smallmouth bass.

Everything was as good as advertised but better. The property was beautiful and clean. There was 11 in our group and we never felt crowded. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, beds were comfortable and the master suite was perfect. Our group utilized the hot tub and enjoyed the huge deck. Highly recommend 👌

We had an excellent time. It is definitely secluded and off the beaten path, which is what we were shooting for. We spent most of our time playing cornhole on the back deck and sitting around the firepit at night. The creek down the hill was fun to explore, but we didn't have much luck fishing. Beautiful place though. Bull Shoals Lake is about 45 minutes away so we spent one day on the lake, and another day we did a float trip down the White River starting in Cotter and going down to Buffalo City. Both were amazing, especially the float. Best float we've ever done (used Rileys Outfitters...highly recommended). The only thing I would change about the house is to put a more functional bed/futon in the office so it would sleep 2. That would create another "real" bedroom to optimize the sleeping arrangements for some groups. The master bedroom and especially the bathroom upstairs are super nice. The kitchen is well stocked and we use it a lot. Summary: Thumbs up!

Will definitely plan to be back again! We loved the seclusion and the creek. The kids had a blast fishing and swimming, and us adults enjoyed it as well. Jonathan was a fantastic host, replying to all text in a very helpful and fast way. I wish all property owners were like him. You can’t go wrong with this property!

Absolutely beautiful !! The house had everything we needed including a propane grill which you usually never see in a VRBO home. I addition to seeing lots of deer and wild turkeys, the fishing was great right behind the house on Crooked Creek !

If you are looking for a quiet off the path place to stay with A+ accommodations this is your spot. The home is amazing , it's even better than the pictures. They have thought about everything! The kitchen is perfect, beds and baths are spot on, and they have provided everything you need for a great stay. Entertainment, pool table, fishing gear and great wifi. The property is well kept, beautiful scenery and the river is just a short walk away with all the fish you could want. I highly recommend this location.

We spent an amazing 3 days at this lovely log home. The property was clean and spacious. It had everything we needed for a nice family gathering. Everyone enjoyed the proximity of the Crooked Creek and being able to fish until dark. The property manager was attentive. He responded quickly to any questions and checked on us regularly to make sure our stay was satisfactory. We highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for an “off the beaten path” experience.

Loved the peace and quiet. Plenty of room in the house and on the deck to spread out. The terrain to the creek is steep and you will need to wear tennis shoes or hiking boots. The owner is very responsive.

This is a perfect house for a family getaway. The house was huge and we loved that the bedrooms and living space are spread out over 3 floors. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals and the family room was really comfortable for playing games. We spent hours on the huge back porch relaxing and enjoying the views. The creek/water hole in the back yard was a wonderful bonus enjoyed by the kids and the adults. The owner answered all of our questions promptly and was very helpful from checking in to departure. Highly recommend for a family needing to relax and enjoy nature and just spend time together.
