We had a great time at the Sumter Beach House. We had adults, teens and children and everyone had an awesome week. The pool was a tremendous plus, and the place was spacious enough for four family units. The hosts were easily accessible but not invasive. We all agreed we could come back again

The location was nice and quiet. The golf cart was very useful to get around! Our kids enjoyed the pool!

Love at first site. This is a great house. 3 Bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms upstairs and 2 Bedrooms and a full bathroom off of a bedroom downstairs. The house was great for our family plenty of space. The pool and hot tub are amazing. The owner is very fast to respond to texts and willing to listen to any concerns. The golf cart is a great bonus as you can drive that to the beach access and park for free. Anyone will love this house. Pack your sheets and blankets the house has plenty of towels. If you need to do laundry the washer and dryer are great. You are centrally located. Go to Carolina Beach, Kure beach, Fort Fisher, the aquarium, and take the ferry to Southport that makes a great day trip and it's only $7.00 per car load. Great trip came home very relaxed.

This is our 2nd time staying here. We lucked into a cancellation last year and fell in love with the area and house! The house has space to spread out and is very nice, however the outside area is the star! An amazing pool with plenty of space. Convenient location and our teen grandkids loved riding bikes in the neighborhood and park. Close to town and the beaches. Great communication with the host/ management team. We will definitely be back!!

The property was nice and the pool was excellent.

Plenty of room for everyone. Golf cart was very convenient for zipping to the beach, pizza place, and ice cream. Pool was a great plus for hanging out while grilling dinner in the fenced in back yard.

Thought the house was good in March of 2023, but believed there could have been a few small items that could have been attended to. These small items were attended to for our March of 2024 and the house exceeded all of our expectations and we had a great time. The family comes down for the Steven Haydu run each year and this house works perfect. The Polar Plunge is the best! Thank you for providing the perfect house for our family get together!!!

We were not impressed by the house..when we got there we found dog poop from a large dog in the grass area around the pool. The bikes couldn't be used they were rusty and had flat tires. Went to turn on the cart and it needed to be completely charged and then once charged it didn't last long at all. Inside the laundry area had pipes exposed, lucky we didn't have toddlers. The oven door on the second floor was broken. Most of the furniture was wobbly when you sat on it and the carpet in the hallwall downstairs is a hazard, I almost tripped twice with my cane.

This was our second time at Amy’s. The location is great a quick golf cart ride to the beach and even quicker to the park. We love the pool! Amy is extremely hospitable and kind. My son even left his vr headset and she called me to let me know. Thankfully we hadn’t gotten to far from town. A great house for families! Thank you Amy.

After our original booking elsewhere got cancelled at the last minute, we lucked into finding this listing which had just received a cancellation for the week we were looking for. It was a great blessing…an extra bedroom, bath and larger pool. 1st visit to Carolina Beach but definitely not our last. Fantastic house, pool/yard & location. Set up is great, having upstairs & downstairs kitchen and living spaces. Golf cart was an unexpected bonus. Quick response to questions and clear instructions. There’s a good variety of activities around -we enjoyed them but looked forward to returning to the house and pool! We are already planning on a return trip!

We really enjoyed staying at the Family Beach House. It had everything we needed and accommodated us perfectly. The pool was a great place for the kids and the adults to hang out. It was great having two kitchens and 2 separate living spaces as well. Would definitely recommend and would book here again.

The property served the purpose of having a roof over our heads for 2 days. It appeared to be a weekday home for the owners while they work in the property. Empty boxes, sheets stuffed in the closets, drawers with personal items, used toiletries, half used lotions and shampoos, etc. The second strike was the uncleanliness. The floors needed to be swept, the shower curtains had enough scum (just buy cheap clear ones at a dollar store), the mattress covers were filthy, the mattresses had hug urine stains, etc. then there was a lack of safety where the gate cut two people from a nail sticking out and the mattress frame sticks out and hurt someone’s leg. It was a hassle to have to bring bed sheets for that many beds. There were wardrobes with old sheets that I wouldn’t dare to use. Most of all, the neighborhood is racist and full of haters. They complained because 4 cars were parked in front of the house. On our arrival the day before, we saw them staring from the front and taking pictures. My mother and mother-in-law saw them looking over the fence and balconies in the back. There was no loud noise. And for less than an hour, people gathered to get ready for a beach party. The 4 cars had to park at the house due to lack of parking. It was within minutes that we kept receiving calls saying we violated policy…from parking on the city street…really?!? Honestly, we were watched the entire time. Not sure if it was by the owners or the peeping neighbors…that are likely racially driven

Nice home close to the beach and boardwalk.

Could use a little extra TLC and organization in the kitchen, but overall, not bad. The only thing we did not like was the main floor bathroom and queen bedroom. In order to get to the queen bedroom, you had to go through the bathroom. It can be quite frustrating when someone is in the bathroom and you need to go to the bedroom.

House was clean and very accommodating! The pool and hot tub was great ! The golf cart was a great added bonus ! Property owner was easily accessible for any needs as well ! Great family vacation place ! I would definitely go back

We were there for the St Patty's day 5k run, the house was perfect size, location and functionality!

The owners were available for anything we needed or questions we had. Everyone enjoyed the back yard most!! The pool and hot tub were amazing, and it was fun having movie night in the pool with the outdoor TV. Also, the golf cart made it so convenient to get to the beach, and around town!

We spent our weekend at this beautiful house, everything was clean , lots of space for everyone, kids and adults enjoy the pool, golf cart was a plus , house is close to everything food, shopping and the beach, definitely will return again, thanks to the host who was very attentive in everything.

My family owns a beach front property in Kure that was unavailable & the idea of not staying beachfront was a huge negative, but boy was I wrong! The close proximity of the house to the Carolina Beach boardwalk, the farmers market at the lake on Saturday morning & restaurants was a huge hit. The golf cart was a life saver & parking was a breeze. Beach access (2 min drive) is off Spartanburg & golf cart parking was always available. The house was as listed with the exception of a full bottom and twin top bunk in the room downstairs. This was a pleasant surprise for our big family. The dual kitchens were perfect & fully stocked. Lastly, the pool was beautiful & well maintained. I will absolutely rent again if we are ever in need. We had minor issues while there & the owners of the property who live in Wilmington, were quick to address every need timely. Thank you for having us!

We arrived and we’re greeted by Amy. She allowed us to get in a little earlier which was wonderful. There were 5 rooms to choose from. We did meals upstairs and game time downstairs. Two kitchens and living room areas. We spent most of our time by the pool. We did a Disney movie night on our last night. The hot tub was wonderful. We had an issue with the upstairs ac but the owner took care of it immediately. Communication was great with quick responses. We were not aware but we had a golf cart to get around which was great. There were bicycles, games, floats provided. I would definitely come back. Pricing was great. I can’t say enough good things about this rental. We absolutely LOVED it!!!

We had such a great time last summer that we decided to book as we were driving home. It gave us a whole year to look forward to this return trip. We spent so much time by the pool.

We loved the yard with the pool, the golf cart, and the perfect location between the beach and the park. The property is a bit tired, unkempt, and cluttered.

Great family vacation. The split level was a perfect set up for my daughter and her young children. The pool and backyard area were amazing!!!
