Nice breakfast view gardens

Didn't like mold in pillows & mattress and didn't like having to pay 120 Q just to use the dock

This hotel delivered way more than I ever expected. The property grounds and gardens were absolutely immaculate and serene. The level of love and attention the staff puts into caring for the facility and guests is amazing. The pools were clean and the temperature perfect. The restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious with high quality ingredients and beautifully presented. Tuktuks were available whenever we wanted to go to town.

I’m not sure if she was the owner/manager, but the older lady who seemed to be in charge was not friendly, and in one instance we had to wait to talk to the front desk staff while she admonished him in front of us. I felt sorry for all the staff we saw her treating meanly, and I felt heavy for the sadness she must hold being full of so much anger. It was not a good look for such a beautiful hotel that otherwise held so much positive energy.

A beautiful and breathtaking property with immaculately manicured grounds and a wonderful view, I had such a lovely stay. The staff are great, the rooms are fantastic and the food at the restaurant is 10/10. In my opinion, great value for money considering you are staying at one of the best hotels on the lake. Lots of intricate touches and love the history of the grounds. There’s also amazing wildlife onsite! Would recommend to all and would definitely stay again.

I loved the views, beautiful gardens, nice jacuzzi and pool

Reception staff were not very welcoming. We were experiencing plumbing issues, had to ask 3 times to fix them, on the third time maintenance came and told us it was not something they could fix that night to ask for another room, they had already shared this information with reception. When asking for another roll reception was hesitant. They didn’t help us with our bags in switching and we did not get any money discounted.

People should be aware that there are Scorpions in this hotel . I was on my bed and was bitten by an Scorpion, my tongue got a little numb and my finger hurt .The hotel did not have at first aid kit all i got was some honey they said that will help.I email the manager to complain about it but I never got an answer.I was lucky i had Benadryl with me and Tylenol .STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK .Mold in the shower.

The location and the property grounds, and access to town by car: good location. The food and drinks were great. The staff was nice and professional.

No gym, and better service needed near and around the pool.

absolutely gorgeous views, the property itself is stunning with an incredible variety of plants and flowers. The hot tub and pool were delicious and was on this deck overlooking the breathtaking views of the volcanoes and Lake Atitlan

The staff was just ok. They were slow, didn’t even buy us a drink or any credit to use at the hotel after being almost an hour and a half late having our rooms ready. check in was at 3 and we waited til almost 4:30pm. When I ordered massages someone at the front desk did not notify the massage lady so she was 15-20 min late arriving. At the restaurant service was hit or miss. Some staff was good and some just ok. The food was good but didn’t offer enough variety. Where is the caldo de marisco or black bass?? The rooms were pretty but the beds were so hard! Its definitely worth staying here but they have some things they need to fix for the price we pay to stay there.

Service was great, everyone had a great attitude and were pleasant all around. Gardens and grounds were immaculate and the art work was gorgeous.

The bed was a bit hard and the chairs in the room were for smaller/average size people, being a plus size traveler, it was difficult finding a good chair for the outdoor seating area. There were also some odds and ends that could have been better, like the shower head being maintained so it was not flooding the whole bathroom. There is no elevator, so if you have trouble going up stairs, ask for a 1st floor room. It’s not very accessible overall. Food was just ok and for the prices, should have been better. They do bill much higher, almost American pricing for the area.

grounds are amazing - beautiful gardens that are lovely to walk through, photograph or enjoy quiet time. The decor was also amazing and a lovely display of the culture.

Everything was beautiful. There were mold spots on our bathroom ceiling that need cleaning - my only complaint. I would also be nice to have 2 pillows if possible.
