Our family rented this house for a week. We loved the deck area with the hot tub, and fire pit. That was a great addition. We would love to see some decorative lights on the deck, that would make it sooo much more attractive. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for our trip. The goose feather pillows were a little horrible to sleep on. Overall our family loved this house it was so cozy and had all the right amenities and was the perfect distance from the guard stand. We would book it again!!!

It is a nice place and they have done a lot of work repairing the decks. It is spacious and comfortable and we love seeing the deer and wildlife. Best of Canaan is always professional and easy to get hold of if there is a problem. We don't travel to this area with any other management company.

Enough room to spread out and chat, play games and enjoy each others company. As we were older skiing was not in the plans - weather cooperated and we were able to enjoy fires at night to take off the chill. Kitchen was fully equipped, and this made meal prep easy. This rental had the most interesting posters and pictures - so tastefully and uniquely done.

We spent the Thanksgiving weekend together and the home was the perfect size with the perfect amenities! We enjoyed hiking at Dolly Sods too. This was our first ever visit to Canaan Valley and we will be coming back again to stay here!

This was such a amazing stay! Private easy and just gorgeous! The only thing was the amount of cob webs and flies. Many dead and live flies! Cob webs in windows, ceiling, corners, lamps, corner-corner, fans…- other the. That is was clean and a really wonderful stay!

We visit Canaan Valley several times per year, so we visited some of our favorite spots.We experienced a minor water leak in the first floor bathroom. If you love mountains and back roads great drive, if get car sick bad choice. One of those places you visit once and say, " well it was ok but would never return."

The house was large and would accommodate a lot of guest. The house is a little worn even for a ski rental. Kids explored the back yard and had a blast. Hot tub did get hot enough always a plus. Timberline ski resort is very close and friendly but it needs an update in a major way.
