The real beds and AC worked great. the bathroom was a real shower with very hot water.

the noise, there’s a techno nightclub that’s definitely in ear shot. didn’t effect our trip much because we go out at night but we could hear it even when we got home

We thought from the reviews that the bungalows were on the beach. Ours was not, it was set back behind a food stall next to a public walkway & overlooking an unused swimming pool that was full of dirty water. It was very noisy (this may have been because of Chinese New Year). We spoke to the staff & were given 2 options. We chose the second floor suite with a sea view, it too overlooked another unused swimming pool filled with dirty water. The noisy Lotus Bar was next door. The noise wasnt too bad with the windows closed. The suite obviously cost more. Further research indicated we could have had a better room elsewhere for less money.

Was a great location with a good bar and restaurant on the beach. Comfy beds and good sized room.

We were told we had a double bed but had two singles, not much of an issue just a bit annoying. We had lots of ants in the room. The window didn’t shut properly so was a bit loud at night occasionally.

its directly in the party street. next to a bar with a big sound system. Until minimum 1 o clock in the night they play so loud music and you hear it very loudly. so when you are not a party person, and when you are at home in the evening, the bass and the music was really stressfull. Doors in rooms are so loud, you get awake when your neigboor leaves the room in the morning. the room was really perfect but the noise was really extrem.

stayed 5 days but they had bookings so I couldn’t stay longer,,, they even packed my bag for me and took me and took me to another place,,, proper service that!!

Huge rooms, with air conditioning. Staff is friendly and the location is great.

Rooms could be cleaner and they are fixing the swimming pool. We didn't see that before we booked, big disappointment.

The location was right by the beach, the Lotus company is all over the island and they have businesses that range from pharmacies to bars and hotels and spas. The receptionists were friendly and of great assistance.

The moment we got there, the rooms smelled like sewage. Someone left the window open and the mozzies were flying in. It was loud even in the late hours at night, we could hear people banging the doors outside and the music from the bar a block away. There was one night when my friends' room had no water and they couldn't shower. The door was also terrible as the first key they gave us immediately got stuck got broken and even with the new key it was difficult to open.

Nothing but the location. No hot water in he bathroom and other hotels have it for the price they charge. It sayis there is a swimming pool but when I got there it was a disgusting green slimy pool impossible to swim in.

The location was excellent, right next to the beach, shops, restaurants and lotus bar which has a good fire show. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were big and clean.

Not too much to like, unfortunately. The bed was comfortable if you like firm mattresses.

I got the beachside bungalow which wasn't that cheap, but the room had a horrible moldy smell and really bad bathroom. They moved me to another room, but it also had issues. The hotel is right next to a club, so loud music all night even with the windows closed. Everything was old and frayed, and I almost missed my boat out of Koh Tao because they gave me inaccurate information at the reception. If you get one of their cheap rooms and have no expectations it may be less of a disappointment, but stay away from the pricier options or just go to one of the many better hotels nearby.

It was close to everything you needed. Nice beach hut.

The toilets were at either end of the street and that was off putting!!

location was fantastic right on the beach, the restaurant was really good value for money and everyone was friendly in the dive centre, nice big spacey room and beach towels were available

1 pool was out of action, funky smell outside the room, not allowed any food in the room

i loved the proximity to the beach. the rooms were literally on the beach and was quiet when we were there. there was lots of restaurants and bars around too. the staff were lovely and very kind

our room had a lot of mould. the bottom of the wall beside the bed was covered in mould. the smell was disgusting and we found it very hard to spend any time in the room because of it. we couldn’t open the press that had the fridge in it as the handle was broken. there was nothing to hold the shower head up despite the photos of the rooms displaying one so a bit difficult to wash your hair which possibly explains the mould from the water going everywhere
