We arrived early, and they were very attentive and had our rooms ready. It is very clean and the rooms are modern and very comfortable.

It's quite old fashioned in decor. But if that's all I have to moan about, it's pretty good.

Small area around the bed shower system not a lot of pressure. This applies to quite a few older buildings in the UK so was kind of expected.

Was better than expected, the owner was friendly and knowledgeable. I had a single bed which felt bigger than a standard single and was really comfortable and the room and ensuite were of a good size.

We stayed at the Abbey Grange Hotel early December 2021 whilst attending a funeral. The hotel was easy to find and there was adequate parking on site. We stayed in Room 1 (a double with en suite), whish was comfortable, cosy, and immaculately cleaned. The staff were extremely helpful; and even got in plant-based milk for me for breakfast; which was incredibly thoughtful. Communication was great prior to arriving and check out was as simple as dropping off keys.

My daughter was in Room 2 (a single with en suite) and found the bed uncomfortable - compared with ours. There is only stairs access to the rooms and no lift - however if you are able bodied, this would not be an issue. It is only a personal preference, but a couple of vegan options for breakfast would be nice - however, I never asked in advance; and who knows, as they were so accommodation on the milk situation. they may very well accommodate other dietary requirements as well.

Newly refurbished room which was spotlessly clean including the bathroom. The inclusive breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and served with a smile.

My pillow was a bit skinny and worn out, that's all. Probably bring my own next time.

Breakfast 2 guys very nice and friendly. Breakfast egg, toast and coffee great. Overall pretty good value. I think and improvement would be to offer room only price, basically just in-case you have to leave earlier than breakfast times or you may only want light food, if you are competing that morning in an event and don't want a big full english. Could offer early take away bacon rolls or something, so you could eat them after you're race at a later time that day.

Room 6- 25.09.21- 1 night. I don't want to be negative, as this is easy to change it to be better. Although breakfast 2 guy staff we're great, when we arrived, we weren't told there was a 40th loud disco party booked. Told staff guy that we checked in with, that I had to go early, as had sport event. Needed my sleep, as was competing. Would be nice to have been told, given option not to pay & search elsewhere. He could of showed us quickly to our room, as we walked the other way. He could of had quick friendly chat, as breakfast guys did. (Show an interest in you're guests).Thumping disco & very loud. The bass went right through my body in the eve, whilst trying to watch TV. A singer/DJ was booked. Only lasted til 11pm, which wasn't too bad but I couldn't get into carpark until about 11.30pm, when party goers left. I did fall asleep then and left car on the road ok. Car was not hit or broken into. 👍 Quick breakfast of eggs on toast was nice, but an improvement would be to lay out juice, muesli etc as a buffet. Room clean and only a blip in not having hot water from tap at 8.30pm, but was fine in morning and shower was nice. Other half noticed curtains may of needed dry cleaning, as appeared dirty. We may of been wrong? Room fine, an improvement maybe to update to modern dacor, but admit we are petty on this. However TV was too small at about 22 inch? A 32 on the wall, would be much better. Power sockets by the bed and 2 side cabinets would of been an improvement ( not picking on this, but just a suggestion).

I was in room two. On landing step down to my room no warning sign. Look out for it if you stay could get fall!

The staff were very helpful and flexible and gave us an early breakfast on the day we needed to leave early for the ferry. Clean modern room, recently renovated. Parking on site. Quiet location. Easy walking distance to town centre. Breakfast was excellent. Will stay again.
