The location was perfect and the staff friendly and helpful

good location, nice reception staff, beautiful common areas of the hotel

it was way too hot in the room and there was no way to change the heating option (receptionist said "open the window") very noisy (people screaming in the street) even with the windows closed we could hear everything, we did not sleep well at all !

Lovely hotel, spacious rooms and fantastic pool. The location was perfect to explore Ghent.

The hotel is located in a pedestrian only zone, but as the hotel did not notify us of this, we drove around for ages trying to find other routes. The pillows were awful and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The cooked breakfast was cold and not worth the money we paid.

Everything is amazing. Clean rooms stuff amazing saauna is great free and swimming pool is great

Whenever I go to Gent, I like to stay here. Quality is consistent and price is okay.

A bit dated. Two doors in the room were very hard to open. Locked myself out and in a couple of times :) Bath kept emptying.

Location was perfect, outside swimming pool a plus. Breakfast was OK.

There was an annoying, uncomfortable smell round the reception -- problem with ventilation/restrooms/...? Related to the extreme temperatures?

I had a problem with the room electricity as it keep to make short cut and the light kept went off more than 5 times with only using the room light without using plugging any appliances except for the TV on one time. I have contacted the reception and they kept open the electric box to turn on the room main switch, then I even took the electric room key to do it my own until they resolve this issue which is not appropriate but I wanted to save the day as my kids was afraid from this situation. The reception told me that they will bring an electrician to fix the problem and I waited from almost 4 hours but he didn't show up and the same situation keeps repeated and when I contacted the reception they told me that the electrician will not come and they didn't inform me until I asked. after that, they told me that they will try to move me from this room and they will check as the hotel was fully booked and I shall wait for them but no one called me again as their was someone who booked a room but didn't show up, that what they said.

Friendly staff, same excellent service you'd find at any Novotel Hotel. The location is right in the heart of the city of Ghent. Rooms are spacious and clean.
