Lovely owners that went above and beyond ensuring we had everything we needed.

Sofa and beds a bit uncomfortable.

Everything, from the moment we arrived. Warm welcoming cottage, perfect for our week away. Enclosed garden with an additional fenced area for our greyhounds to run. Lois met us on arrival.

We liked everything.

the quiet rural area lots of walks for the dog. lots of walks and a great pub a few minutes away

lots of spiders and a little unclean in places. directions could have been better or a sign.

Excellent location for a Birthday get together with family and friend. Lovely little cottage, a real home from home.

We thought that the in after 4pm and out by 9.30am was a bit harsh. We felt that in at 3pm and out be 10.30 would have been better and not infringed on the time needed to clean too much.

Lois was a great communicator so we felt reassured with how to get in and look after the cottage. The place was lovely and cosy - the log burner was the best! It has everything you need for a weekend - there were 5 of us and we were all comfortable. We even got a visit from the local peacock in the garden on morning!

It would be handy if there were a few more cupboard staples, like foil, oil, salt, pepper and sugar. But it was not big deal - we just popped to the local supermarket and stocked up.

no tea coffee sugar on arrival I manage holiday let’s so normally that would be available. to go the extra mile a bottle of wine or cake would be left you can add that into the price off the stay it works a touch of luxury !!lovely host

The privacy and peacefulness was great, so calm and quiet which just what we wanted.

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful country setting with shops and pubs very nearby. Extremely clean, comfortable and warm with storage heating on when we arrived and a big basket of logs for the wood burner. The kitchen was very well equipped for all needs and a folder full of information and phone numbers for local services left us wanting for nothing. There was also a private garden at the back with a table and chairs which we didn't use as it was the end of October and raining. The owner was also lovely, very friendly and helpful. We stayed there as a family of five as a base for Alton Towers which is 20 minutes away but i would definitely book again and maybe bring my dogs next time and enjoy the beautiful countryside.
