Excelente ubicación para visitar la playa de las catedrales. El personal es muy amable y servicial, y el restaurante ofrece buenas opciones de especialidades locales y de calidad. Excelente relación calidad precio.

tasty dinner with big choice in menu, Playa de las Catedrales is 15min away on foot, big clean room with all required facilities, anti-mosquito nets on windows, low price for a room, plenty of parking space next to hotel
Most of staff does not speak english, only Spanish. No air conditioning in room thus can be quite hot in summer,
super limited breakfast (i was offered only some choice of pre-packed backed sweets, some kind of potato pie and coffee), very soft mattress and pillows, clogged water drain in a shower

The room was good, although we got a double bed but asked for 2 single beds. The food in the restaurant was great!
They charged us extra for paying by card, although the amount was over €100. This is just very strange I think.

BED BUGS, got bitten all over myself. The owner was very rude to his personel, wife and also guests. At night he was shouting so loud on his wife that you could here it in the hotell room on the upper floor. The food was poorly made and the place smelled bad.

it was cold and they turned off the heater at night. wea had to ask them to turn it on. the check out was at 11. Bath soap was not enough.

It is a simple place away from the nearest town but very close to the Cathedral beach, famous for the low and high tides which are spectacular.

I loved the food, service, Wi-Fi connection and the proximity to the Playa de las Catedrales. The food is freshly prepared and is delectable. The beach is at 10 minutes walking distance and the Esteiro Renfe station is just 500m away. The landscape around this place is heavenly. I recommend this place 100% and I would love to come back.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming, despite the language barrier, they let me store my motorcycle in the garage overnight which was nice of them ,the food is top quality , the room was clean an tidy , thanks

Rooms are right above the restaurant and walls are pretty thin. So if you don't want to be bothered bring your ear plugs

O lar de Carminha is an amazing place where to stay and I totally recommend it. The staff is very nice and helpful and the situation is good if you want to visit A Praia das Catedrais, Ribadeo or Illa Pancha: you would need the car to reach those places from almost every hotel or hostel.
The food is also very good and it worth it to have dinner there. We chose seafood, croquetas, ali-oli chips and Ameixas á marinheira, and all of them were well prepared. The waiter recommended us the Tarta de la abuela, and it was a good choice to finish a nice dinner after visiting the wonderful surroundings landscapes.
