The rooftop is obviously a very nice to spot to look at the Mt Fuji. The space in the room was fine.

Unfortunately we've had two terrible nights. In fact, we've had all nights long the water draining in the pipes from the top floors. I guess we did not have a minute without a noise of water flooding every night...

Beautiful, spacious and super comfy rooms, amazing toiletries available and great breakfast. The hotel was well located just a short stroll up a cute laneway from number 3 stop (Ogi) on the sightseeing bus red line. A couple of blocks back from the waterfront in a quiet street. The rooftop views were breathtaking. Lights on the lake and front row views to Fuji. Fuji was cloaked in clouds on our second day, but we got magnificent glimpses on our arrival before dark. Highly recommend this as a fabulous place to stay. The 2 day pass on the sightseeing bus was well worthwhile! Don't miss the Itchiku Kubota museum - we had no idea what it was.. and it took our breath away!! So many more places and not enough time!

That we had to leave.. I would have enjoyed staying longer to spend more time around Kawaguchiko and enjoy more of the museums and delights this beautiful place has to offer.

My 6 year old son liked that we were in the watermelon room. I liked that we had breakfast options, convenient parking space, location was conveniently near a family mart and a couple restaurants.

I didn't like the window in the ceiling that couldn't be covered. It got too bright too early, making it impossible to sleep in longer.

What we loved best was the location of HaoStay ◡̈ Tbh, it's not the most modern hotel you can find at Fuji but I guess the rooms were functional and served their purpose. The best thing about Haostay, though, was the VIEW from the hotel. It was insane. Mt Fuji is literally right. infront. of. the. hotel. literally. You didn't even have to turn. It's just there, in full view. Insane full view from the roof of the hotel. I loved it. On the other side of haostay, is a view of lake kawaguchiko ◡̈ It's a 3 minutes drive from the center, so really, the location was perfect too. Fuji can be pretty quiet at night so driving a car around is highly recommended! but from haostay, everywhere was really really convenient. ◡̈

The windows were really dusty and I felt they could have installed windows that could be fully opened so that guests can enjoy the view without having to see the view from behind a window grill.

Fantastic guest house: super clean, wonderful location. tasty breakfast, and very professional staff.

The morning desk guy--not sure of his actual role--is not so pleasant to deal with. He's a bit too serious. However, the evening desk woman was a joy to deal with.

we had a great and relaxing stay here. the rooftop was a cool place to see Fuji and have an evening drink or two.

Well equipped hotel with bike rental on site. About 15min walk from Kagawuchiko Station. The traditional breakfast provided was really good. Even though there were no hot springs available at the hotel, the rooftop view was pretty nice!

The roof top view was fantastic 👌 Large room with comfortable bed. Plenty of parking spaces outside. Located nice and close to shops and restaurants.

Not a complaint, but we did find some hairs in the bath and shower curtain but otherwise spotless.

It is a new and clean hotel. Friendly staff. The room and toilet were spacious. The bed was comfortable. The view of Mt. Fuji was wonderful. The tatami space was a nice bonus in the room.

During the night, the AC (not in use) made some noises (self-cleaning, I presume) which woke us up a couple of times.

I like the spacious and very clean room with the window facing directly to Mt Fuji. The free breakfast was acceptable. The sandwich size could be reduced a little bit. The free shuttle back to the station was highly appreciated.

I remember that we were instructed to wrap up the rubbish and leave it outside the room before 10:00 am. However when we came back in the evening, it was still there. I don’t see the point. I’m slightly not happy that bathing towel can’t be replaced.
