Friendly staff clean place

Most of the facilities like bar coffee terrace restaurants were not there or were not started. Still waiting for licences,the place has an ambience of maybe 3* property. Feels a bit cramped and small. Breakfast variety could be better same choice more or less every day.

Although clean at first glance, you soon realise everything is sticky with a buildup of fingerprint marks!

Uncleanliness and difficulty communicating with staff. Which isn’t their fault, they clearly have no training.

Only their New Operational Manager was so good

Situated on the Sarnath road. Good property. Well-appointed rooms. Good food, very warm and friendly staff. Internet is very good too. Good spread for breakfast and for dinner (on some days). Would recommend this hotel for sure.

Hi dear the fern residency sarnath. Actually we had very nice stay. But I faced three BIG issues in ur hotel, as largest hotel at sarnath. 1: (The unexpected beautiful charge) I booked suit rooms by booking.com. The payment is already confirmed n booking also. It was INR 53,982 for two nights for two rooms only, which is INR 13,495 per night per room. That's not excluded tax, it was total amount. But when the hotel charged me, I was charged inr 63699, Which is INR 15,924 per night, per room!! More extre like 9k something! I have both received of hotel and bank. And also I have my booking.com charge record. So that really disappoint me, especially when reception guy tried to explain with nonsense. But I can't refuse since we can't get another room at that time with nowhere middle of way the hotel lactation. I also report to booking.com, but u didn't get any response about that, such a disappointment to both of them. This is our last time using booking.com. 2: (Working so hardly people at midnight on rooftop) We stayed for two nights, and both night there's so loud noise making at roof top, cutting tiles and making rebuild etc at midnight!! Even at 3rd floor, we heard so loud that really disturbed our sleep n ofcourse another room at 4rd floor. When we called to reception, they r like they don't anything and later even they knows or accept it, but asking or telling us it'll finish soon!!! So mean. I checked at roof top and there's like 7-10 people n working so loudly like there's no one blew the hotel rooms. I made records and vlogs and will release on my YouTube channel soon. Actually I'm not that so impatient person, but we r so disappointed when they do both nights. Not only at first night after we told them not to make noise at night when everyone sleeping. This is our first and last staying at The Fern Residency. 3: (The buffet in the mirror) As the hotel guest buffet meal.

Breakfast and food is great in taste, staff is very helping and active.

Bedroom are not soundproof, could easily hear noise from corridor outside bedroom when people passing chitchatting specially in my room that’s just next to elevator.

All the Staff is excellent. In fact they make up for the other infra issues which I found. Food is good Location is also good. Finding local rikshaw is very easy. Dormitory for your car driver is available

* we found Washroom sink jammed , was resolved though very quickly * similarly the shower drain was not flowing properly * found stains here and there, so not very clean. Will add some pictures. All in all I felt that the infra needs more maintenance. And the existing staff are doing more than the best to overcome that.
