We stayed here for a weekend while visiting family in Addison and Fort Worth, so didn’t spend much time in the house. It’s part of historic McKinney (I would assume). It’s a very old home, as are all the homes around it, and this gives it a certain charm you can’t find elsewhere. Its location is definitely not within comfortable walking distance to downtown McKinney—at least not for a family with smaller kids. We drove, and that whole downtown area is a dream. College kids or people looking to avoid drinking and driving could walk it easily though. Also, if you venture down College Street to the right (if you’re in the house, I can’t remember if it was east or west) it looks a little dicey. Something to take note of if you’re traveling alone. The opposite direction is great though. I felt safe in the house the entire stay. The beds are super comfortable. The air conditioner is loud and trickles when it turns off, but it’s an old house, so what can you do? Overall, I’d recommend this place if you’re looking to stay in McKinney.

Great home and location. Everything was clean and in order. We had a slight issue with the lock but property manager was great at communicating!

This charming little cottage was the perfect host for a girls' family getaway. It provided entertainment and comfort for everyone ranging in age from 10-83. We loved eating in the sunny dining room, roasting marshmallows over the fire pit, and the proximity to McKinney's shopping and dining. The beds were comfy too. The host was easily accessible, but unobtrusive. We look forward to retiring!

Cute house that had plenty of room for family of 6. Great location and close to restaurants and entertainment. Had all of the amenities we needed for the long weekend.

This is indeed a super quaint little cottage. It was immaculate and comfortable. We have friends in McKinney so we will be hopefully be using this rental again in the future.

The property was spotless, the hosts we’re communicative and the stay was wonderful. The hosts had everything ready, and they were truly professional. Had booklets with answers and simple directions for check in/check out. Would definitely stay there again!

The actual property did not match the pictures on the website, with the exception of the kitchen. White area rug was not white but stained, facecloths and bed sheets were stained, backyard deck had two holes in the deck, making backyard use a concern, the large backyard umbrella was out of order, laying against the fence and unusable, there is no privacy in the dining room or kitchen due to sheer curtains and no shades provided, shag rug in bedroom looked dirty and the clothes dryer sounded as if it was grinding and use was potentially hazardous. When these issues were reported to the host, we were told they would be addressed based on the availability of their handyman. We were then offered and opted for an early checkout and refund of 2 of the 8 planned nights in this property. We were also charged the cleaning fee, for what looked like an unclean/stained property condition and told our standards were too high. Traveler beware!

We enjoyed our stay very much as the property was terrific and in a perfect location with proximity to downtown McKinney. It was also convenient for visiting our grandsons(and parents).

I can't say enough good things about this property's location. It was a nice walk to coffee shops and restaurants. It was spacious enough for my husband, myself, and our 3 children. The beds were very comfy. The property was clean and a nice place to call home base for 5 days. Communication with the landlord was great. She helped us with a WiFi issue late at night, which we greatly appreciated. Thanks for a lovely stay.

My best friends and I rented this house to stay in for a wedding. It was cute, clean and a great hang out spot. We didn't use the backyard because it was July and super hot. Beds were comfy.

We had a nice stay here for two nights. It is convenient to downtown McKinney. We would rent this property again.

This property was perfect for our needs. It was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive. They were also incredibly helpful with places to visit and had plenty of local maps and resources available to look at. We would absolutely stay here again if we are back in the area.

We had a small issue with the air conditioning the night we arrived but the owner remedied that quickly. We needed some extra room for a visit with friends and we had a wonderful time, making memories here!

We enjoyed our family time for Easter. The house was a very cute and perfect for Easter. We were a little disappointed in the yard. There was trash in the fire pit, large tree limbs down, and random boards. Otherwise cute.

We loved our stay in this sweet and welcoming home. The location was perfect for our family visit and every little detail helped us feel right at home. The home is comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet yet near to downtown. We are thankful and grateful to have found this home and would love to stay here in the future.
