Facilities are self serve. We were unable to locate any shops nearby, but didn't have a lot of time to look, so we would eat before catching the bus ride back to the room. Its a lengthy journey in the bus, but we managed fine with 2 adults 2 kids.

Were unable to get tv to work for us in english and couldn't get netflix working. Just need to plan ahead for groceries if applicable. Bus cost not included in the hakone pass and it does take a long time from Hakone township.

The PIN did not work for the lock, and it was me and two young children that had spent hours in transit that felt stranded. Luckily, some man came and gave us a metal key. After that, everything was fine, but it was a bit of a rough start.

部屋が広くて快適でした。 ガスファンヒーターもあったので、暖かかった。 冷蔵庫もそこそこ大きく、収納力あります。 食器類や調理器具も充実。 冷蔵庫の中に醤油とサラダ油もありました。 浴室暖房やガス給湯器も良く、洗濯機もあります。 脱衣所にはアイロンとアイロン台、掃除機。 洗濯機を使用後、洗濯物を浴室乾燥で乾かすことも可。

お風呂を自動で沸かすと、浴槽からお湯が溢れてしまいました。 退室時メインブレーカーを落とすので、風呂釜もリセット（初期化）されてしまうのが原因かと思います。

A동은 인테리어도 예쁘고 아주 좋았어요! 침대 두 개도 푹신해요

D동은 입구가 바로 계단이라 아이나 어르신들에게는 좀 위험해요. 욕실이 하나라 좀 아쉬웠어요

スタッフさんの対応はすごく良かったです。 間違った部屋を予約してしまったときに、気持ちよく対応していただきました。

いたるところに、髪の毛がおちていたりシーツにも髪の毛がついていました。アメニティは最小限です。お茶やコーヒーなどもありません。自販機があるのでそこで買って下さいってことなのかな。

Villa Hakone Stage had everything we need for a 3 night stay. It was compact but adequate. 2 double beds were spacious and so comfortable. there were 4 futons at the loft area - this was great for our family of 5. Everything in the apartment is new! We love the bathtub especially we can control the bath from outside and pre-fill the tub! The host provided everything - shower cream, shampoo, conditioner, even facewash, towels, even oil for cooking! The washing machine was really good for us! no dryer machine but the bathroom has a dryer function. The smart TV with Netflix was a bonus! Location is convenient to Lake Ashi - only 3 min walk to the lake which we wanted as we were fishing there, and 10min to the ropeway and pirate ship if you have the Hakone free pass this would be very convenient. There is a bus stop right next to the villa. There were homey lunch locations just by the lake. We cooked breakfast and dinner everyday - i love the induction cooker, very small space but it was ok, the hood was great no smell or smoke at all in the house. Microwave was a microwave with grill functions which we used to toast bread as well as cook food. The large 7-11 at Motohakone on the other side of Lake Ashi is very well stocked (15min drive from the accommodation or right at the pirate ship stop)

The villa was excellent. There are few areas open for dinner at the area. The small restaurants open for lunch only. This was not a problem for us as we cooked dinner every night. But might be an issue if you don't cook (buy dinner on your way back!) We chose an upstairs villa. If you have a lot of luggage get a downstairs villa. The stairway is narrow and long.

Villa Hakone stage is close to the cablecar and to the Lake. It is immersed in the park and it represents a great place to spend a night while visiting Hakone. The structure is clean, full of facilities and the staff is very kind and helpful.

The beds were comfortable. Good location.

The photos on the site are NOT representative of the room you'll actually get. We paid over $370 a night for what we thought was going to be a villa, but ended up being a small room with two queen beds. Decent room, but WAY overpriced. Also, forget about being able to talk to anyone to try to resolve any concerns. They have a terrible automated phone system that hung up on me every one of the twenty times I tried to call

No dinner places nearby, all eating places except for 1 restaurant closes at 5pm or earlier. Nearest convenience store was not a 5-10mins drive away. Was hoping to see Mt Fuji frm my room's balcony but it was blocked by trees and the direction of the balcony was not facing Mt Fuji

Perfect place for the family. Everything in this place was great and detailed. Comfortable beds and specious area and clean. You won’t be disappointed to stay here.

It is quite remote from everything including restaurants, so rental car will be very useful.

Good location - walking distance to restaurants, ropeway station and pirate ship port. 10 mins drive to owankudani, 15 mins drive to Hakone Shrine, beautiful mountain roads and lake view. Property is spacious, fully equipped with air conditioners, heater, bathroom ceiling dryer (my personal favourite), shower, bathtub, washing machine (even with hangers, detergent and softener), stove, fridge and oven/microwave oven, as well as parking space. Staff was very responsive to my message (broken kettle) and arranged a replacement delivered next morning.

Inconsiderate neighbours - not really the property’s fault. Walls are definitely thin, which is actually very common in Japan. We had the whole two floors to ourselves, but the sound/noise from next doors can be clearly heard. First two nights were fine, neighbours were quite mindful of the thin walls and stop making loud noise after 10pm. However, on our last night of stay, there were a bunch of guys moved into next door and partying (shouting/screaming) till 2am… Staff replied my complaints messages at midnight, very responsive. However, they actually have no way to improve/stop the situation. So immediate help is not really available.

the walls are a bit thin and we could hear our next door neighbors who were quite loud. when I messaged the staff about it they were very quick to respond though. I appreciate that. would have liked to be able to sit on the balcony.

It looks shiny and new, the building looks modern compared to the others in the neighbourhood. Located 10 minutes walk from the port, its a quiet place to stay.

First of all, it's not a villa - it's a huge apartment that you shared a unit with the others. So in terms of the capacity itself that I stayed with 6 of my family members it's way too packed within the unit. Hence you need to restrict yourself since its just only partitions separating with other units, trying not to be loud, and mind yourself everytime, it's tiring. It's not disabled friendly since there's only a long narrow staircase before reaching to the landing. There's no separation between kitchen and the bedroom - you literally cook right in front of your bed. Also, it's not a friendly apartment at all as you are welcomed with plenty rules and regulations as opposed to other places I stayed in Japan for 2 weeks time. I had a hard time staying there - aside from hardly accessible to carry the luggages with the freaking narrow stairs, I had to cook in front of my bed where the ventilation werent that great especially during deep winter. Perhaps "Villa" is a misleading word to describe your accommodation.

We love the villa C and had very comfirtable stay. Everything is clean and new. Self check in process is super easy.

The bathroom is great but coud be better if it's not the only one and is in the master bedroom that we all had to share.
