Very cool

very good location. The entertainment group was really professional, specially a guy named Max who knew how to deal with kids. very polite, kind and caring. our children loved him and were looking forward to meet/play with his group the whole time.

The Asian restaurant had a poor quality of food.

Too touristy, and too structured. If you do not have breakfast or lunch or dinner within a specific time then you have missed it. I also do not like that I am stuck with a hand band, I literally could not take it off except I destroy it and without it, I won't have access into the restaurant.

great views of the sea, all rooms are sea facing and sun facing for the whole day friendly happy and helpful staff good variety of food, our daughter was delighted food was available for almost the whole day activities for kids and adults, our daughter was always busy daily stage performances after dinner, MJ show, in particular, was very good elevators for wheelchairs and prams - where there were stairs for regular people

everyone will have a great time at this property but little more is expected from a 4-star property. The listed photo of the room shows a glass balcony wall but ours was a brick wall. no toiletries except hand soap and shower gel. cocktails are premthe ixed sugar syrups served with blended ice. it may be common but it was first All-inclusive experience for us. the beach is not easily accessible- you have to take a taxi or free shuttle from the hotel. the gym is very basic, with no free weights. cardio machines do not switch on except for one treadmill whose display doesn’t work. it’s easy to notice that food is being rotated from previous days. desserts that were moist one day were dry the next day. coffee will be a letdown for coffee lovers.

The first days we really enjoyed the hotel. The view was wonderful, the staff very kind and the room clean and modern.

The last day I got food poisoning and vomited all night with strong cramps. It was owful! I tried to call the reception 5 times to get some sort of medication but they didn't pick up the phone or even bother to call back. Funny because earlier the same day reception called me to ask if everything was ok...

Very accommodating when we wanted a room change to Amadores beach view as previously requested .

Beautiful hotel with friendly, helpful staff who go above and beyond for you. Great food and drink choices and lots of it. Comfortable, modern bedrooms. Excellent leisure facilities with 2 pools, kids pool and baby pool.

The hotel is situated on top of a big hill overlooking Amadores beach which makes for stunning views but made us feel slightly isolated as it was hard to step outside and walk places especially with a buggy. There is a shuttle bus but you need to time your day accordingly.

Stayed here for one night after our flight was cancelled. Had stayed at Gloria palace for the week but couldn’t get that for a night. This hotel is really good and has everything you need. Dinner was superb with a varied choice in the buffet.

We had a room with a sea view but comparing to our room at Gloria palace was a little disappointing had we had stayed here for a week. I think the room could be a little better but that may just be personal choice, it has everything you need just so much better at Gloria palace.

So the Riu Vistamar is literally built into a mountain so the views from the hotel are stunning. The facilities in the hotel are as good as anywhere I've been before and the food is pretty much spot on. I guarantee unless you're the fussiest of eater, you'll find something great to eat. I LOVED breakfast as the choice was immense. The thing that makes this hotel the best I've been in is simply the staff. They are brilliant. Every Rui team member is grateful for you being there and this shows. The bar staff are the friendliest I've ever come across, the Entertainment team are friendly and work so hard for you, the housekeeping staff are brilliant, the reception team will share a joke with you and they are all brilliant. This hotel is a flagship for customer service. Simply the best.

Nothing.....everything was perfect and I do not say that lightly.

The hotel staff (restaurant, bar, reception, entertainment) were exceptional. They were all warm, friendly, and helpful. They are the asset of this hotel. The view of the ocean was mesmerizing. RiuLand was super fun for our child, she could not get enough of it. The entertainment shows were enjoyable to watch. We liked the special desserts that they served at times (chocolate muffins / brownies with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream, fresh ripe mangoes).

As positive as our experience was when we stayed at this hotel in December 2021, this time, it was totally different. The food was mediocre, the quality was worse than when we stayed at this hotel last year. The vegetables were overcooked, meats were dry, the drinks were bland. The same unsatisfying experience at Kai Restaurant. We were able to stay in 3 different rooms. Our rooms were not so clean - the floors were sticky, the rooms smelled like they needed to be de-humidified. We found a big heap of dust (big rolls) inside the air conditioner (photo attached in this review). The hotel has a no smoking environment policy, however, guests are allowed to smoke on their balcony. The balconies are in a row next to each other without sidewalls, so the smokers and non-smokers are still mixed with each other. We wanted to have some fresh air, so we left the door open, but the next-door guests smoked on their balcony, so the smell of cigarette smoke was all over our room when the balcony door was open.

The staff were exceptional the best I have ever encounter on my many travels. The food was excellent and extremely relaxed atmosphere was brilliant to be around . I loved this particular Riu Hotel and I been in quite a few . It was the best all exclusive I ever been in everything from food to drink was readily available at all times top class . I went for nice days with my Partner it's was truly a lovely hoilday .

The lifts were very slow at busy times but not a bad price to pay seen everything else made up for it.
