Location easy reach and nice walk to other areas

The double bed mattress very springy and too soft. Could do with replacing. The bed sheet looked as though it wasn't washed or it may have been washed but had a stain that looked like it would not go with a normal machine wash. It was also creased and not ironed. The towels in the double bedroom smelled like someone used it and not been washed. My child's small toy went under the double bed so pushed the bed and saw dust and empty bottle under bed. Not been hoovered under. Hallway and stairs have stains and carpet needs cleaning. In the kitchen Pans very old and need replacing. Other than that it's actually a nice flat, really good sizes for each room.Bathroom, kitchen, living room and the two bedrooms generally tidy and clean.

Location close to seafront (5 mins walk)

Firstly we could not open the building door and luckily residents let us in. Flat was grimy and not clean (cobwebs in corner, dust and dirt on surfaces... bathroom window surface, tiles, plastic flowers, stained carpet, scuffs on walls). We didn't stay 3rd night. Obviously this flat seems to be managed by an agent who is not available via phone weekend etc.

House was no clean and very dusty,forks was dirty,the washing machine does not work,broken curtains hanger.

Up 2 flights of stairs, the bedsheets were dirty We had to wash them twice and even then that spoilt it.. The matresses were very cheap and poor quality they sank considerably. the windows would not close, handles broken and that meant we had to listen to road noise and wind noise throughout the night and it disturbed our sleep. both the living room where the sofabed is and in the main bedroom the windows would not close fully and the handles were broken. The bathroom door had no lock and there was a hole in the door handle with tissue paper covering the hole.

The property was clean and of a good size. Most of what we wanted was there.

Small bathroom. Just about enough room when sat on the toilet. Windows didn’t shut properly. Couldn’t find a key to unlock one of them. New windows needed I suggest Hallway and stairs leading up to property dirty not creating a good impression. Front door difficult to unlock and needed a lot of patience. Maybe a new lock or keys is needed. Both keys were very similar. Needed something to distinguish them. Poor lock on flat door. Flat cold and damp on arrival. Maybe the heating needed to be put prior to guest arrival. Kitchen sparsely equipped. Just about enough left for guest use. No mention of poor parking options on description. I know the area so allowance was given. Someone who doesn’t may be disappointed Television out of date. No apps. Poor signal strength. No book containing instructions, local attractions, welcome pack.

The lights in the hallway were not working

Apartment is spacious, comfortable.

My five year old disturbed the neighbour with her playing, the neighbour knocked on the door due to disburance. So I was worried when my little one played, she has alot of energy. It would be nice to have cooling fans in summer. Even more unbearable due to heatwave. Pillows need to change, they were flat.

The hosts lacked customer service, compassion and empathy! The main hallway smelt musty and mouldy, the flat door had a broken handle which wasn’t fixed. No instructions left as to what to do with rubbish. The kitchen equipment was broken, overused, dirty and uninviting. The property wasn’t at all clean as stated. Parking was extremely difficult meaning having to park several streets away. Possibly could suit a short stay but not at all suitable for a long stay. Stairs involved, not good for anyone with poor mobility.

The location was great. The apartment felt spacious and clean.

We had a little difficulty getting the door open with the key. The stairs are a bit tiring when you’re carrying a baby and a buggy. The curtains in the room are thin and see through so they don’t block out much light in the morning.

The property was very spacious, great WiFi and was great value for money. It has everything we needed and more providing lots of cleaning and cooking materials. had to book last minute due to the storm and our holiday park being closed. Was in fact better for us and would highly recommend.

The mattresses were soft so could be updated but that’s it.

Location - not a seaview apartment. Can only see the seafront from corner of lounge window. Not suitable for anyone who has walking difficulties as there are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment. The property itself is on a very steep road.

Apartment had poor lighting, cobwebs everywhere, mock fireplace not dusted for a while, noticed hairs around the apartment on arrival (blond hairs - none of us are blond). Towels smelt of vomit, a smell that indicates they need to be thrown out and replaced, take your own as it is not a nice feeling having a bath/shower and having to dry yourself with towels that smell. Lack of furniture in the apartment, main bedroom had a bed, 1 bedside table and a wardrobe, that was it.! Same with the bathroom, nowhere to put anything other than a small towel rail & edge of bathtub. So called sofa bed in the lounge, is not really a bed you can pull out from the sofa, you would have to just sleep on the sofa as it is. The main bedroom and the 2nd bedroom with the bunk-beds very cheap and uncomfortable, again could do with being replaced. Had extremely bad rain on the last day of our stay and water was pouring through the bedroom lighting fitting which fell directly onto the bed, so bed was soaked. This also caused the electricity in the apartment to go out. I spent 2 hours trying to get in touch with :- - the owner (via booking.com messaging as I had no other contact info) - 'We Love Property' (called office and 'out of hours' mobile number provided, no-one answered, could not leave voicemail, also texted). Since we could not contact anyone, we decided to leave that day before nightfall ie a day early because of loss the electricity and water soaked bed. Whilst there was still daylight and we were able to pack. Otherwise we would have had to move around the apartment with just the torches from out mobile phones. If you want value for money, do not book this apartment, great disappointment.! Luckily I had the gumption to take videos of lights not working, attending to fuse box & water pouring through light fitting. Kindly Booking.com refunded 1 days charge, after seeing videos, hope they recover this from the useless apartment owner.

Breakfast N/A. Location pretty good for shops and beach Lounge sofa pretty comfortable TV and smart functions good. reasonably sized. Kitchen good size utensils and and other things were fine.

negatives 1. 2.5 stairs to top flat not sure that was mentioned. 2. Scruffy building with some renovation being done on ground floor flat and dust and grit entering common parts i.e hallway. 3. lights in common hallway not working either electrical fault or bulbs. Good job phones have torches, was mentioned but by then the owner/agent was hacked off because i called the place shabby and basically overpriced and disappointing. Thus no resolution. 4. Bedroom pretty basic bed and wardrobe which was our selection problem but bed was the cheapest bedframe. 5. Freezer compartment door missing hence freezer was inactive not an issue but evidence of fine detail being overlooked

The property was described as”1st floor”, when it was in fact on the 2nd floor. We could find nowhere to dispose of our rubbish when the kitchen bin was full (we did ask the host of the whereabouts of the bins/recycling, but we couldn’t find any dustbins outside the property), no spare bin bags were provided, the communal area (stairs and hallways) were dirty and a little run down. On arrival, the freezer compartment was so over frosted that despite spending half an hour trying to defrost it a little, we were unable to store some of our frozen shopping and ended up having to throw away as we couldn’t eat in time. We definitely felt that our stay was overpriced, especially in comparison to other holidays we have had of a similar nature, where we received a higher standard of accommodation for a similar price or less. I hope the hosts takes note of these comments, as they are little issues that could easily be addressed and enhance a stay at this property.

Minor issue: The impossibility to block/close the staircase to prevent toddlers access. Need to pull the front door before opening.

Central Location, decoration was good, modern, bright and spacious.

Master bedroom needed a black out blind on window, as there wasn’t one, only transparent voile curtain. There was a blind on 2nd bedroom which was better, but it wasn’t a black out. Also a shower screen is needed on the bath, to stop water going on floor.
