The location was directly on the beach, our condo had the balcony facing the ocean and you couldn’t beat the view. The condo was plenty big enough to fit 5-6 people. The only complaint my wife and I had was the bed in the master bedroom. It was so uncomfortable that my wife and I were waking up multiple times a night every night we were there. The bed was really stiff! It got so bad my wife chose to sleep on the couch rather than the bed the last night there. Other than this, our stay was great!

Great condo

The property description clearly list a pool with a picture. The pool was closed and in very bad repair-- it was not a one day occurrence. it would have been nice to have the pool on the days when the surf was too rough to enjoy the ocean water. The bed sheets were too small for the mattress and would not stay on. Our assigned parking place was very small and difficult to maneuver, even though we had a small car. The beautiful location and large condo made the overall trip very nice.

This condo was more than we ever expected. We absolutely loved it and had the best time and everything was convienent in the area. We will definitely stay there again.

Palms 501 was absolutely beautiful. As others have mentioned it looks to have been completely updated very recently, and the view is amazing. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the beach was not crowded, and the Realjoy staff was very helpful and friendly throughout the process.

Real joy is great to deal with - and accommodating to changes in stay and questions. Condo was great and so was the beach. Had minor concern and was addressed timely. Highly recommend - will use Realjoy again. Only request is to update pans 9.5/10

We had a quick get away to Fort Walton Beach and this condo was everything and more than presented in the listing. Great location close to really good food and fun!

501 at The Palms was perfect for our quick weekend getaway. The unit is well soundproofed so we couldn’t hear a peep from our neighbors. The bunk room was perfect and the beds were comfy.

Clean and well maintained. Only complaint is parking is difficult for a big suv

The condo was better than described! Able to walk onto the beach is priceless, feels private. The views were like a postcard from the deck. Easy access to all that Destin has to offer. Worth every penny!

Very pretty and relaxing

It appeared there had been recent renovations and the result was a lovely condo with comfortable furniture and a very well-stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes and cookware. The view of the beach was fantastic. The parking was not the best set-up - difficult to maneuver in the covered area and a significant slope outside. One disappointment for us was the lack of restaurants or entertainment within walking distance. All in all, though, we very much our stay.

Really nice beach view and setting. Nicely decorated and outfitted. Nice kitchen, good beds, great tv's, & grid showers. Parking is not the best and limited by construction workers trucks. Overall, a very nice condo and well furnished with plenty of kitchen dishes, cooking utensils, etc.

The condo was so nice. It had everything we needed plus a great view. The washer and dryer are so handy to have. Close enough to Destin without all the commotion.

It was the best vacation especially we have seen dolphins and sting ray fish so close to the beach and my daughter was so excited The place was so clean and easy to get into!

The unit was clean, nice kitchen and furniture. There were some things I would have fixed before renting. Master bathroom, you couldn't hang your towel up because half the bar was broken off. No mate to step out of the shower, the quarter round trim had paint chips all down it. Baseboards were dirty and the hot water didn't work in the sink. The bed had a cheap thin quilt for a blanket. The ac vents were Rusty and dirty.

Had a wonderful time at this property. Clean co do and great views.

There is not one negative thing to say about the stay at the Palms we enjoyed it very much. The cleanliness was fantastic we had plenty of towels in the bathrooms, the beds were comfortable the views from the balcony was great, I cant wait to see the renovations when we book for next year. Thank you for making your guests priority it shows..and the goodie bag was great thank you.

Property was very clean and as described. Fantastic beach access. The only issue occurred after three days of heavy rainfall from Ida. A leak developed in the ceiling in the living room. I immediately reported to management. The ceiling leak stopped when the rain stopped however as of checkout no one had come to repair the ceiling. Thankfully no damage was done to the TV or furniture both of which were below the leak. Overall great home and location!

Parking is horrible! Someone hit my car in the tiny parking lot! And of course didn’t leave a note! The pool is tiny and not very clean! Outside doors on units are dirty and really need to be painted! Inside this unit was very nice and recently renovated only saving grace!

This property is just as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back! Thank you!!!

The condo was in great condition and the views of the ocean were amazing. Would definitely stay again.

Condo overall was nice but there were several things that were frustrating about our stay. Parking is a nightmare if you are driving a large suv or truck. The assigned space can only fit a compact car and there is very little open parking that can accommodate a large vehicle. Every time we left I was afraid we would be unable to park when we got back. Our first night there we ended up locked out due to the keypad failing. They called a locksmith and had the keypad replaced but we had no access to a bathroom for two hours. Bathrooms were available at the pool but they wouldn’t give me the code to get in. The situation was completely unacceptable. We have three small children and no way for them to use a bathroom. We never received an apology or explanation for why we couldn’t get the code to the pool bathroom. We arrived about 30 minutes early and called to see if we could check in early. We were informed the owner didn’t allow any early check ins under any circumstances despite the unit being ready. I understand if it isn’t ready but to just say it’s never allowed seemed ridiculous.

The place was nice and updated. The beach access was great. The beach was not crowded and it was nice having chairs/umbrella already set up. One downfall was the pool. It is a lot smaller than the picture shows.

Everything was easy from renting to checking out. Would definitely stay here again.

The condo was beautiful and the location was perfect.

This was a great unit and location. There was a small plumbing issue with the master shower but Realjoy was prompt to fix and offer compensation. The only really bad issue is parking in assigned place. The area under the building is incredibly tight, not that it can’t be done. I would rent this property again.

Fantastic condo!! Clean and great layout and design. The personal note and welcome gift were unexpected and added a personal touch. We loved being able to walk to the beach. It was a great experience from all aspects!! We will definitely stay here again!

I loved that the location of the property was just steps away from the beach. It came with everything we could possibly need and was not far from the Destin Outlet! The decor was gorgeous and loved being on the balcony! It was stunning! I do wish it was a little bit cleaner. (Pieces of hair on comforter, old razor in the shower) besides these things it was immaculate and so very nice we enjoyed our stay very much!
