Very comfortable and pretty B&B. Perfect quiet location near the town centre. Margaret is a great host and provided a very tasty breakfast and good craic.

Boyle is a lovely town. It is also very central to other destinations. Lough Key park was fantastic, I really enjoyed my visit there. The B+B is in a very nice, quiet location. The host is friendly and helpful.

Margaret the host was such a pleasant lady after getting caught in the rain while walking to the property we were offered tea and biscuits which went down a treat. The breakfast was superb with lovely homemade brown bread. An excellent host and a lovely quiet area to stay in.😊

Margaret was very welcoming and friendly. She shared her knowledge of the area which was helpful in trying to find our ancestors. The house was spic and span, our beds were comfortable and the showers had plenty of hot water! We had a quick breakfast of breads, toast, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. Hillgrove House met our expectations and we would certainly return.

Maggie was a superb host. Very friendly. The house was clean as could be, show house standard with a homely atmosphere sprinkled in for good measure. Rooms were spacious beds were fresh, large and comfortable. Location a few minutes from Lough key, short drive or public transport to carrick on shannon. Couldn't recommend enough!

Convinient b&b in Boyle. Nice conversation with host. Car used to Boyle center. Shopping and restaurants limited in Boyle. Breakfast with cerials and fruits.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hillgrove House and would happily stay there again. The welcome was warm and friendly, and my chats with Margaret during my stay were most enjoyable. My room was very clean, warm and comfortable, with a nice bed and a good shower. There were lots of towels available. The guests have unrestricted use of the kitchen and lounge, which had a lovely turf fire burning. The continental-style breakfast had everything you might want, and was very filling. I liked the location - it is quiet, with plenty of parking space, and about 10 minutes walk into the centre of Boyle. There was no noise at night. All in all, it was a really pleasant experience, with a wonderful host.

Margaret was a marvelous hostess: I immediately felt welcome and ‘at home’ in her lovely house which she keeps as neat and tidy as a new pin.
She is a woman who is marvelous with people: she enjoys giving more than receiving. She epitomizes all that is best about our great tradition of hospitality that is such an ancient part of our culture-she’d make you proud to be Irish!
All in all my visit was a total joy; I’ll definitely be back!
I can’t think of a single thing-I loved my stay with her.

The entire experience was in the traditional Irish style, - warm and welcoming. The house was very homely and comfortable. Breakfast was spot-on. In all, an excellent experience.
