Beautiful room, complementary wine and ouzo.
Internet did not work, disconnecting all the time, gave up on using it, ac in bedroom not working, no cool air just fan works

Nous avions pris une chambre avec la petite piscine jacuzzi mais les arbustes ne cachaient pas bien la visibilité sur la terrasse comparer aux autres appartement situé un peu plus haut dans l’allée . C’est dommage mais tout était ok

Everything was perfect. The location of the hotel, near the beach and many many restaurants and shops. The hotel has 2 restaurants and a bar, all with great food and drinks. Cleaning is made daily and the towels and bedsheets changed about every 2 Days. We stayed in a Room with jacuzzi and was nice, but it is not heated and the balcony gets much shade so the water was kinda cold, so keep this in mind. The room has a small kitchenette which was handy. The hotel has 2 small pools but we didn’t use them. The sunbeds by the pool are free and the ones from the beach are 7 euros for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. We apreciated that we found in our Room some chocolates and a bottle of wine
Maybe the breakfast could be changed a little bit more during the week. We stayed one week and we got bored with the same food every day. But it was really good

We liked the view, the location, all the amenities and our large terrace. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms, pools, as well as the rest of the hotel were well maintained.
I didn’t like the beach in front of the hotel, more precisely, a very bad entry into the sea with slippery stone slabs.

The location of the property is amazing, it's right on
the shore. Waves restaurant which is a part of the
hotel has absolutely amazing food. The hotel has two
outdoor pools, swimming is possible even when
swimming in the sea is forbidden, which can happen
due to waves. The rooms are spacious, and nicely
furnished.
Rooms could be much cleaner. Bed sheets and towels
sometimes have stains on them, and even though room
service is scheduled for every two days it if sometimes
skipped. The apartment is on the
ground level, and one night we found a cockroach in
the bathroom. Happened only once though. It must have
entered through the massive slide door for the
balcony.

lovely staff, tried their best to be helpful.
We had our 1,5 year old whit us, which the hotel knew. still they placed us in a tiiiiiny rom over the restaurant, next to the road, on the 2,5 floor without an elevator. It was tricky having to carry the stroller up and down the stairs.The noise from the restaurant and the cars on the road kept out daughter up all night.
The pool area looked a little dirty, like there were fungus on the pool edges.

nice swimming pools , direct access to the beach, although the beach is a bit narrow in this part of Platanias (towards the center it is wider). rooms are modern and spacious, very friendly staff, delicious breakfast
guests put their towels early in the morning on the chairs, that is annoying , could be better managed by hotel staff

The beachfront pool was dirty a lot of dark spots around the side of the pool and the water was not being clean b4 the guest start swimming again in the morning

Excellent location, close to many shops and restaurants but still fairly quiet (plus access to the beach and possibility to self-park for free). Breakfast was fine, not super exciting but fresh and with enough options. The staff was friendly, very helpful and accommodating. Room was nice, clean and well equipped. Common areas, including pool, were nice and clean as well.
The wifi was a bit spotty, especially at night. Also, not exactly a problem but it wasn’t very clear how to indicate that towels didn’t need to be changed, so we ended up with fresh towels most days.

This place is a gem. Will absolutely come back. Will always book room 52 for its perfect sea view♡ This place also has the best beds i've ever slept in while traveling! My back is forever grateful😁.
Only thing we missed were some chairs in the room, a sofa table and hangers on the walls. (Obviously not superimportant and dont affect the spot on 10!)

Helpful, friendly staff, very good location near to restaurants/bars/supermarkets/bus stops. Bed was very comfortable almost missed breakfast a couple times as the bed was so comfy. I was impressed with breakfast, lots of variety, hotel overall is good value for what we paid.
Only thing that I wasn’t impressed by was the sea is very rocky getting into it, it’s a sand beach but seems to be rocks all along the shoreline, makes it difficult to get in and out. We also had to pay €7 to rent 2 sunbeds on the beach outside our hotel, shame it’s not included. Wifi was poor at peak times.

We loved so much about Marika, from the location, the breakfast (it changes everyday), the friendly staff, the large size of the room, room service everyday and the room was kept super clean, we stayed in room 45 and had a beautiful view of the pool and the sea (though it was on the G floor, I think a room on the 1st floor facing the sea would have been better)
I don’t know why but showers in Greece tend to be very ill designed, the bathroom would always flood whenever we shower, but honestly the shower was amazing in terms of pressure and ability to change the temperature. just annoying that the floor would always be wet. Another annoying point was there was no wifi in the room unless you stood by the door…which is not very comfortable! Also, if you’re thinking of using the kitchennette, it is very small and with only one stove so it can be very difficult to make a meal.

Very good value for your money. The staff was nice, hotel and swimming pool very clean. Waves restaurant serves high quality food and there is a nice view on the sea.
Breakfast - it is the same every day except there is a rotation for eggs. One day you get them scrambled and the other day you get a small omelettes. There was not a broad spectrum of food to choose from in my opinion. Plus eggs were always cold after 9 am.
