Peaceful location, clean and well equipped accommodation. The fishing lake is well stocked. This was our third visit and we hope to visit again soon. Thanks to Rosie and Steve.

Absolutely everything … literally one of the best places I’ve booked! The hosts are lovely, welcoming and extremely helpful what more could you ask for! property was spotless and stocked with all the appliances you’d need. me and my partner will be coming again for sure!

What didn't we like? From the moment we booked to when we left, we couldn't fault the lodge, hospitality and experience! So much so that it would be awesome to keep it a secret but it's a special place that needs to be shared. The lodges are new, exceptionally clean, nicely decorated and spacious with everything you need. A lovely little touch with the cookies and tea / coffee stuff for arrival. A very warm welcome from Steve and later met his partner, Rosie. A lovely couple who are happy to keep out of your way but always on hand and happy to chat when around the site. The fishing was awesome. My partner and son (10) loved it and spent all day by the water. The weather helped and made for some stunning pictures. A quiet and peaceful site perfect in every way. Thank you...I think its a sign of a good stay when you come home and look at dates to return!

If there was 1 thing, it would be the need for bigger mugs...we are proper tea bellys haha

it was so immaculately clean, decorated beautifully - felt like I was at home. even had a Christmas tree & light decorations as it was over Christmas, thag extra touches make all the difference. great hosts.

we stayed in December and there was a tree up and a few decorations throughout the property, which was more than expected.

The only criticism I would have is that all the windows had blinds and curtains could have made it feel slightly warmer, but the blinds did the job all the same.

No blinds on the double glass doors means it is not very private
