We hadden 2 studiio's. In één was er geen verduistering in de kamer, waardoor je sneller wakker bent.

Het was een feestje om hier te mogen verblijven. De gastvrijheid en het fijne ontvangst. Het estate is goed onderhouden en er is aandacht voor kleine details. Er is een mooie keuken die tot je beschikking staat om je zelf te voorzien van een heerlijk glaasje wijn of een kopje koffie. Onze kamer met terras was schoon en de bedden waren heerlijk.

Er is niets wat ons niet beviel.

Very warm welcome by Miriana with some of their Teran wine which we loved! Great views from the garden, whilst sitting by the fire pit and the pool. Clean comfortable room with small kitchen annex (but breakfast is too good to be using the kitchen). Good local knowledge and recommendations for excursions and food & wine.

Should have stayed longer 😉 All was as described and how we expected it. We’ve had a wonderful time!

Everything was great & beautiful, but the special round of applause goes to the host who was truly amazing & made you feel like home from the second you check-in. Truly outstanding experience, both in terms of hospitality and wine. This is also a great starting point for your Teran wine experience in Karst. The host will tell you all about the do’s and dont’s of the region so you can enjoy your time to the fullest. If you want to just chill and relax with a view, this place has you covered as well. We couldn’t be more satisfied, it is a definite „go!” in our book.

A real gem. We received a wonderful welcome from Mirjana, who greeted us with a glass of her fine Teran and we felt instantly at home. Skerlj is a historic wine estate which goes back six generations to 1788; our room was cosy and full of character with beautiful old furniture. Delicious breakfasts with homemade eggs, local jams and honeys etc. Mirjana gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner both nights. A lovely place to wind down and enjoy the atmosphere with the friendly cats and elderly dog. Thoroughly recommended, we can’t wait to return!

host is very nice and friendly, property is just georgeous, breakfast is delicious.

mirjana is the best host ever. simply put. the property is a wonderfully historic, well renovated winery/ farm property, very quiet, scenic, beautiful.

if you are looking for nightlife, you are out of luck.
