Getting out of there
The place is unclean. This is prevalent the moment you walk in with the damp smell and the untidy entrance. The oven only works on one setting. The apartment is only just big enough for 2 people with a 2 seater sofa, 2 chairs at the table and very little crockery, all of which needed to be cleaned. Then to top it all off the beds in the twin room were crawling with bugs. Carpet larvae to be exact. This was only realised late into the night so the 2 lads had no beds and were forced to sleep one on the sofa and one in his car. The owner was completely unsympathetic and just said it had never happened before. Then without even an apology refused us a refund for cancelling the next 2 nights of our stay. I have honestly never been so disappointed with the customer service of one man. He is awful. Do not stay here or in any of the adjoining apartments, you will be disappointed.

Good location, friendly hosts who allowed us into the property earlier than usual time as we had an appointment. Overall good value and useful to have parking at the property.
Pillows were a bit hard and a couple of glasses for wine would be nice. Happy to provide my own soap etc as this saves a lot of wastage, but as bed linen is provided it would be nice to have a tea towel provided - I always forget this!

Perhaps a little basic and the low beams in the bedrooms were a hazard!

The location was exactly what we needed, easy waling distance to town centre and the "Stump". Facilities within the accommodation were very good, met by the owner on arrival which as very helpful, good parking.
The low beams in the upper landing/hallway, although warned about it my husband, who is partially sighted, banged his head a couple of times. Outside area is still being created so be careful if arriving in the dark

Comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi.
Ongoing building works here and next door meant clutter and disorder around front door area which was a surprise/shock, so it would have helped if I had been told that in advance.
Strange check- in arrangements, e.g. i did not get info on exact location or entry procedure until I arrived and I had to make all the approaches for this information which would normally come in advance of arrival.

Parking was slightly awkward, but with ongoing works to the car park we assume that this situation will improve.

Very good hosts, very clean, great value for the price, lovely apartment especially like the low beams gave the building real style, very comfortable great location only 45 mins from Skegness, would definitely book again and would fully recommend.😁😁
One thing I would add the bedrooms have tv,s in one bedroom you can watch Netflix but the other room has no connection to anything maybe put a TV area in that room so tv is functional but that is just a minor point has no bearing on our overall stay we fully enjoyed our stay.
