What a beautiful restored period house. We were made so welcome by Gordon and Deborah. Our room was lovely and such a comfortable bed. The bathroom was very modern with a great shower.
The breakfast was cooked beautifully and we could hear the singing chef cooking it, all served in the period dining room overlooking fields with horses. A lovely base for exploring all that Lincoln has to offer. Would highly recommend.
Nothing that I can think of. The property does not have private parking but we had no problem parking outside on the road, and what a lovely road it is. Just a short walk into the city. Or there are plenty of cabs.

The breakfast was excellent, certainly set up the day very well. The location is lovely with views of South Common and the horses wandering around. Deborah and her husband were welcoming and open. The room was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully laid out.

Everything. There was literally nothing to dislike. Location, the comfy bed, light and airy room, the view (room 2), the decor, the cleanliness, and the amazing breakfast were all fantastic. Even the music coming from the kitchen was good too!

Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und zauberten ein reichhaltiges und sehr leckeres englisches Frühstück. Das Zimmer war frisch renoviert, geräumig und ruhig. Die Betten waren bequem. Es gab ausreichende Parkplätze in der ruhigen Straße und das Zentrum war nach einem kurzen Fußmarsch gut zu erreichen.

Everything about the room was lovely. It was clean and spacious, bright and comfortable, quiet and calm. The breakfast (fry-up) in the morning was also really good. We also thought the view and situation was very scenic directly across a wild field with horses.
When the heating came on there was a clicking from the pipes which kept me awake until I realised what it was and how to stop it (turned the rad off)! Nothing major but it did delay my sleep.

The old lodge is a beautiful old house in a lovely location, plenty of parking, amazingly comfortable bed and two lovely & attentive hosts. Room was impeccably clean & breakfast was great.

The Guest House was in a quiet location with ample parking. Our room had a pleasant view over the park.
The full English breakfast was very tasty, well presented and hot. We couldn't fault it.
The location is very convenient for a visit to the nearby Bomber Command Museum.
We are planning to stay here again soon.

Great room with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Wonderful host who even dropped us off at Lincoln Cathedral. Great breakfast. Free parking in front of the door.
It was a bit noisy from the room above us but that's part of a Victorian house to be honest. We have hardly had any problems with it.

The guest house was well appointed, tidy, and the hosts were great.
The location is a decent walk from the beautiful old town and the Cathedral. Ok for us but could be a bit of a headache if the rain is tumbling down.

I booked this accommodation on behalf of my aunty and uncle who came to stay for the 1940's weekend, they told me that they were extremely pleased with the accommodation and when coming to visit again would book to stay there, and that it is the perfect place to put up visiting guests. They said that the hosts were extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble , the rooms were excellent as was breakfast and they enjoyed the uninterrupted view of the Common from the breakfast room. When communicating with the host I found them to be excellent in their response and extremely flexible with check in times. Thankyou for providing such a lovely stay for my family :)

Lovely restored Victoria house. King size bed in room overlooking the garden. Very clean . Good en suite with excellent shower. Plenty of parking in the cal-de-sac road.

Deborah and Gordon were fantastic hosts and really took care of us during our stay. The location of the bnb is fantastic, but there is a steep slope to walk up to the city centre. As I'm heavily pregnant, Gordon kindly offered daily to drive us so that we could avoid the stress of parking and walking up the hill. The rooms themselves were immaculate, cosy and we had a nice view of the cathedral from our bedroom. Breakfasts were always of high quality, and Deborah even went out especially to buy apple juice when I asked if they had any. We really enjoyed our stay and we'll definitely book again in the future!
