Close to town. The porch was nice.

This place is very run down compared to the pictures. When you drive up the first thing you see are torn and missing screens. The landscape is a mess with junk laying around. The inside is very dark and you can't turn on the lights without turning on fans. I didn't use the hot tub, the water looked cloudy. You can't use the fireplace. The kitchen is nice and beds are OK. The bathtub is disgusting! The bathroom sink and vanity are new and are nice. This would be a great place if the owner put in some more work and didn't neglect it.

Location in pine trees, easy access to town, hot tub worked, quiet area, good tv and internet connection, good water pressure, never ran out of hot water. DID NOT LIKE: grill propane on grill was stuck, very dirty and it needs to be cleaned, electronic ignition did not work, had grease fire when trying to use it, ADVERTISEMENT: pix on website are deceiving as actual property is not landscaped, needs lots of repairs, was told to take trash out to garbage can on road but there is a small shed behind house FULL of garbage and full bags just thrown in it - no garbage service ? This is health hazard and trash needs to be removed or reported, YARD: Needs to be landscaped, trash and junk everywhere. This property rental definitely does not warrant the exorbitant cost we were charged for it - way over priced for condition of it. Many rental properties in town that we went and visited were bigger, cleaner, safer and less money so we will never rent this property again and will ensure our friends and family don’t rent it either. We made a huge error in renting it.

KITCHEN: Coffee Keurig needs cleaned, stove and oven dirty and need cleaned, knives were dull, pots and pans were scratched and unusable (we purchased knives, skillet and pan in town to use), LIVING ROOM: large throw rug in living room was buckled and rippled and very dangerous trip hazard - we had to pull it and try to flatten it but it moved daily making a big lump which we tripped over several times, BEDROOMS: mattresses on two of four beds need to be replaced as they were extremely uncomfortable and worn out, curtains in bedrooms did not cover the length of windows and rods were not attached and moved when trying to shut curtains, blinds in bedroom were falling apart and would not close, downstairs carpeting was dirty and spotted throughout, closets unusable as they were used as owner’s storage and had miscellaneous items thrown in them, BATHROOM: bathroom sink stopper was disconnected, shower head was too tall, not adjustable and extremely difficult to take a shower for person under 6’ 5”, no mat in tub so was very slippery, poor quality toilet paper, no towel hooks, dangerous screw sticking out of wall in bathroom (was this supposed to be towel hook??), no storage area for personal items, PORCH: advertised as wrap around but not a wrap around porch as it is blocked by doors and part of porch is now enclosed and is a laundry room, screens are damaged and hanging down, most window areas don’t even have screens, no front porch furniture, the damaged screens from the road make the property look unused and deserted, debris on porch was not swept off, front door stairs step was loose and unsafe, snow grate at front door is above ground and poorly installed so tripped on it often, screen was ripped by front door so you can put your hand through it and unlock security screen door, storm shutter on front porch is too long so cannot open to see view of property, hooks on small doors separating porch did not latch so doors slammed all the time, SEE MORE ABOVE
